  1. So the I was wrong about being wrong. Malevolent Armor = 122 mil for the top, bottom, and helm if you make it yourself http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Malevolent_energy
  2. SS top sold for 5.7 for me today as well at Tetsu top at 6.75
  3. Did some quick slayering this morning to get this which brings me to 195 combat. 99 Defense will probably be my next 99 and I'm not only 3 levels away from 2400 total, which I will get with Slayer, Divination, and Smithing (probably).
  4. Thanks, I've looked at it before but there's no option to sort by profitability that I can find. I can just guess at the best tasks from there. Not blocking Greaters to do them at Kril will let me block jungle strykes and the rest seem alright profitability wise. Edited the main post with an additional question
  5. Assuming that I will be using Drygores, Royal Crossbow, and Cstaff for weapons what would be the ideal block list set up for making money doing slayer? On a related note is Arma soloable for aviansie tasks with superior death lotus, fsh and otherwise maxed defensive gear on just soul split for health and penance +prayer renewals for prayer? If not what kind of set up should I be using for inventory? I've never been to Kril and I assume that's where I should do my greater demon tasks so whats the best way to go there? EDIT I also haven't been to the KK since they updated him to be more resistant to other types of damage than the form he is in. On task can I still get away with drygoring him? If I don't get the drop do I still get the exp?
  6. Got my Drygore MH back now. Also got my agile top. My friend irl loaned me 20 mil cash so I could get it which means I can start QBDing again tomorrow. Hurray! Once I get my OH mace I'll destroy my chaotics so that I can get a Cstaff so I have at least t8 for all styles and I will never *cough* sell my maces again. I should be able to get it by Monday and pay my friend back by Friday.
  7. I'll start with 10 and see if I can stomach getting more. \ #Boom I'm 229/500 laps for Barb Advanced but I'm all scaped out for the day. I'm also going to spend as much time making money as I can tomorrow afterwards to get my drygores back and then I'm going to add 1 hour of QBD to my day every day. Assuming I get 4 mil from QBD per day, and 1 mil per day from herb farming I should be making ~150 mil per month. So my goal is to get to a 300 mil bank by the end of January along with 99 Divination and then max all my buyables in February.
  8. Spun my spins and got my last piece of the Diviners outfit! hurray! 830 k to go until 99 thieving which I will get as soon as I get back from helping my brother with getting his car to the mechanic. My next goals will be... 1. Finish Fremmy elite (this should get done today). 2. 99 Divination with 10 k of each different kind of energy in a stack (saving this for either selling when inventing comes out as a skill or for using on inventing depending on how the skill works. If I can make a larger amount of cash making t9 2h weapons with it then I will go with that). 3. Chaotic Staff and Glacors for 99 magic and cash. AND 4. 90 Construction. I will be working on this primarily during december with the festive aura to save cash.
  9. And with that I'm at 2395 total level. Personally getting excited for December and the festive aura so I can power train some construction. Tomorrow I should hit 99 thieving and block daily challenges from it. I also might get fremmy elite done finally because I have 24 laps to do for a DC at Barb Advance and I'm only 30 short of my agile top. Off to bed, have a good night anyone who reads this!
  10. How is that a better option? Like I don't see any reason why that's better than shards, only why it would be worse. First of all there's a lot more data involved And if someone dies with the item, everyone is screwed And someone could just keep the drop and never sell it, screwing everyone else Edited my post.
  11. I believe that the damage boost itself was almost as good as nex armors, not including the accuracy boost. You can still use void at QBD but it's definitely not comfortable and a lot more common to get combo'd on phase 4 when souls spawn and she decides to superbreath immediately after. It works fine at KBD for sure, because anything works good on KBD as long as you have antifire protection. KQ you can do in anything as long as you have 2 styles and max offense. KK you can do in void as well as long as the team you go in is ok with it and you're dpsing. It will not serve you well at ANY of the GWD bosses. And for training you should be using a full slayer helm and doing slayer. Personally I got void before EoC and now that I lost a piece due to a glitch (which I reported) I don't plan on getting it back. If you don't have it already you're much better served with t7 GWD armor and ignore warpriest all together unless you're doing TDs and are lazy/want slower kills.
  12. Royal bolts with a offhand rune crossbow? Rune can only fire up to rune bolts, which means you aren't dealing any damage with your crossbow unless there was an update to this that I missed but I checked rs wiki and it still says that the cap applies. You should at least be using a t7 oh weapon, Karils oh is only ~800 k, Armadyl is ~7 mil. You're obviously going to be getting bad exp when you're using a t5 weapon and ammo that it can't fire. I would guess between that and not using the ideal spot because it was taken each time is the biggest part of your problem. I suggest if this is too difficult to get just go kill waterfiends. They're still good exp/hr and decent cash as of late due to the spike in water orb prices.
  13. void is better than warpriest. If you need the extra defense you should be using normal armor, not hybrid. Void is used for its offensive bonuses.
  14. EDIT I was on very strong prescription pain meds when I wrote this and it made no sense.
  15. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Momentum Risk of dying is so small that there is no reason to not use all available best gear that you have. Follow the guide I posted earlier to the letter, if that doesn't work then you are beyond my help. Otherwise try frosts, or even armadyl solo. There's guides for those on youtube as well.
  16. More than likely none as there's nothing to take advantage of. People with the shards aren't going to sell them as they are because they're not going to get their moneys worth unless the shards are over priced in which case no one is going to buy them. Easy Fix : Start all shards out at 1/120th of the price of the item they split from. From then on make the items price and the shards price be linked so that if shards shoot up the item goes up as well. I.E. Item x costs 120 mil in GE so shards are 1 mil each. Shards are traded so that they go up in price to 2 mil each, item x goes up to 240 mil each. Better yet, just assign one person on Jagex staff to monitor the forums and manually adjust the prices on items that are completely off of their G.E. listed price. That person would literally only have to work 1 day a week to keep up with things and it would really only affect new items or changes to items.
  17. So I got almost nothing done yesterday because my anti-naseua meds that were supposed to last me until my painkillers ran out stopped working so i spent all day throwing up and sleeping. For the record, throwing up while having two raw spots on the back of your throat where your tonsils used to be sucks major ass. Got new meds today though and they seem to be working so I am going to try to pound out 99 thieving in one go (with breaks for the bathroom and food ofc). Wish me luck!
  18. I have a feeling that the surge nerf in Rot6 is going to cause some grief among high level pvmers. Map is long overdue. I miss the days when it was a pop out map that i could minimize and keep playing. Coinshare sounds like a way to fix things, probably not the best way though. I do like the idea of being able to buy shards as finances come along to work towards 120 and then combine them at the end, rather than buying an item in one huge purchase. New tutorial will not be something I check out unless they offer me some kind of cash/exp reward that makes it worth leaving what I'm currently working on.
  19. I think I may have mis-worded my post. I could very well be wrong but my understanding is that you have a 1/300 chance at a piece of armadyl armor on every kill. Not 1/300 chance of ANY armor, but 1/300 for plate, 1/300 for legs, 1/300 for helmet for a cumulative 6/300 or 1/50 shot at getting an armor drop on any given kill. When I was killing armadyl before this certainly seemed to be the case. If I am wrong I would appreciate someone letting me know as I would prefer not to spread misinformation. If i am indeed right you should be able to make over 3 mil/hr there easily.
  20. Maybe I missed it somewhere but can someone confirm/link to where we know that ports mage weapons are going to be a staff and not dw?
  21. Do we have it confirmed that the t85 mage weapon will be a staff and not a wand/book?
  22. Armadyl solo should still be good money. Not including hilts in the long run each kill should average ~650-700 k if all armor is dropped at a 1/300 chance. Add in the other drops and you're looking at around 850 k per kill. I'm not sure what the current kph is at arma but if you even manage 10 an hour you should be making very good cash if you're willing to stick it out. I also just woke up so if my math is completely off I apologize.
  23. And depending on if they go for wand/offhand for the t85 mage weapons I can't every see myself needing to get virtus or siesmics that way that current content is balanced. They should be more than good enough for slayer, glacors, and soloing most bosses except for barrows, vorago (which can't ever be solo) and maybe nex although I'm sure the serious pvmers will manage nex with them eventually. I'll stick to drygores sure for melee but I could see myself using the range and mage t8.5 gear for a very long time. Capes and Rings will likely be meh but I leave myself open to the possibility of being pleasantly surprised.
