  1. Congratulations Drumgun! First person to max all combat skills! So did you get level 138+1? Good luck with WC, soon you will have 9 200ms stacked up in a row. In the race for first to 200m f2p Water is powering through cooking going for his 5th 200m and slowing closing the gap between him and el popo1. I am curious to know if he got donations because I am seriously impressed if he made the money for mage, smith, craft, and cook with only two ge slots. Also did you get 200m str before dungeon? ie. rune scimmy?
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oUGn9hYFjc 660k per hour with cannon+titan The bone respawn placement could have been better in this video so I would guess that you could max around 680k-700k. I was getting at least 380k way back in the day like '07 before rigour, deflector, summoning, overloads, soulwars cape/achievement capes, auras... etc. I found that getting a 3x3 of bones dramatically increases your xp/hr because you dont have to worry about moving around as much.
  3. I think there is a misunderstanding here. Gemeos used rather poor grammar leading to some vagueness. I was under the impression that he ment "Tezz got [a] 4b+ donation and he's buying Frost Dragon bones." Thus meaning that Tezz has just received a 4b+ donation which he is using to buy bones. This statement could certainly be false because who knows if Gemeos' sources are valid. So Tezz might have very well not received "[a] 4b+ donation." and denied that statement truthfully. However, if you were to interpret Gemeos' statement as "Tezz [has received] 4b+ [in] donation and he's buying Frost Dragon bones." Then you would be right Drum, and Tezz most likely would not have denied that statement. Though personally I have only seen that video for the 1.7b donation in shards, so I can neither confirm nor deny either interpretation. Completely unrelated. I am glad that you are finally getting prayer and with your lead on Tezz it seems pretty certain that you will be the first to 200m combat, so early congratulations and let us know if you get level 139 for it, or 168 which i think is the combat level for level 120 all combat skills EDIT: Also Drum have you thought about the fishing weekly/monthly record? Skeleton's monthly record is obviously a fake, but Nickvo's week/month records are pretty strong, but beatable with urns and barbfishing.
  4. This could be very interesting. If Drumgun has prayer banked, but is just taking his time since there is no way he can get the monthly record for prayer, we could see a great race for the first to max all combat skills. I would like to see Drumgun beat the daily and weekly records, however I think he would need some dedicated runners to beat Host Bart.
  5. Almost definitely. You can spend dungeoneering tokens on dg xp after 200m and pest control points on combat skills after 200m so I'd assume all token systems work like this Then why did jebrim make a new acc? ???? You can spend tokens on xp but you get no xp. i.e. you don't get a message saying "you already have the maximum experience in that skill" Certainly you can spend slayer points on xp after 200m, but you will not gain xp for it. However, back in the day I do remember that you could get xp after 200m in a skill. Or at least the rankings could change. I remember back on the old cooking and fletching boards the ranks used to changed. For instance I remember looking at the boards and N0valyfe was #1 cooking ranked even though Eve was the first to 200m. I have no idea if this was because the game actually did track the xp gained after 200m, but only displayed 200m, or if this was just a fluke in Jagex's coding for the rankings. I always thought it would have been cool if the max xp wasn't capped, but once past 200m xp the highscore rankings would only display 200m. So the rankings could change indefinitely and it would create a rather interesting dynamic to the game, in my opinion. Those who wanted to compete for ranks would never know if the person in front of them had 1xp or 10m xp more than them. Although those who play for the permanent ranks certainly would not like this idea.
  6. My best (and totally unqualified) guess is that he is looking to max all combat stats, with range/prayer the last two left. Ranging crawlers is probably more efficient towards a 200m in all skills goal, but that may not be his priority now. I just guessed that he was chinning because his xp gains seemed much more than that at crawlers. However there is no way to know what he is doing since we can't see if he is gaining melee xp, hp xp, and he tends to saved up his effigies. So unless his adventure log is public we will just have to wait and see.
  7. NOT GOOD ENOUGH! As the new #1 overall you are forced to appease the masses. We demand more. No sleep for you! In other news Tezz has reached 100m range and is chinning like a boss.
  8. The sheer amount of random event xp that Tezz and Suomi have gained this weekend is laughable. @Jebrim: I am just curious if you or anyone in your clan has done a sort of agility race. Basically have two or more players start a course on the same tick. (This may take a few tries to make happen.) Then the two players attempt to do the course at a perfect pace. The first player to drop a tick/full square loses, or the first player to drop 5 tricks/squares loses. I feel like this could make an entertaining game/video.
  9. Yes because it isn't the 'best' slayer list as you claim L. Ok if you must know it's because =IF(C38="y",0.814654646*C49,C49*1.55356234)+IF((P35+R35)<(200000000-C37),((P35+R35)/154.4-(C43+C44))/3500,(((200000000-C37)/154.4-((200000000-C37-R35)/P34+C44))/3500))+(V33/900000)-C54 says so Ok first let me say that there is still a lot of error in my model. This is not because of the way my model works. That is extremely sound and will provide the optimal task list provided it has accurate input data. Most of the data that I had to manually enter is accurate such as npc slayer xp and expected value of slayer points. The other data that is just as crucial, but much, much, much harder to measure are these input data: probability of assignment, kills per hour, and kills per effigy. For kills per effigy i use vex's formula which has been proven to be quite accurate. But as for Probability of assignment and kills per hour these are extremely hard to measure accurately thus leading to the 55% error margin that exists in my slayer model. Because there has been a new task introduced all of the previous task frequency data that was painstakingly collected by Vivian and Ellessar is useless. Both of them had collected at total of 345 unblock task log data. In order to have at 2% error margin which I would find acceptable at the 95% confidence level I would need around 3,000 tasks logged. This will probably never happen especially before a new task is released rendering all of the data useless. To solve I would need to know how Jagex assigns the probability of being assigned any given task to a player. They have a formula for it and if that can be discovered then almost all of the error in my model with disappear instantly. The other problem I mentioned with Kills per hour is that this is always changing with new ways to kill a NPC quicker, or new gear that makes the rate go up. These are managable if the user knows about how many they can kill in an hour. This is editable in my model and I intended these numbers to be different for every player. However most players don't keep track of this like this and want me to provide them with the answer. Basically what I want this model to be in fully editable so that any player can go in and find the optimal task list FOR THEM. Surely there exists an truly optimal task list that will in fact be the fastest way to get 200m all skills, but that is not what I had intended the model to be. Based on a particular players kills per hour they may have a totally different task list than another player. I am working full time so I don't have any opportunities to work on this model. I made a post in the metagame disscussion forum about the model explaining it and looking for help with either developers or data collectors. People seemed rather uninterested so I gave up. Since I don't play anymore I really don't care about the model. I found it fun to make, but now I really have no ambition to keep working on it. Maybe someday I will add a personal effigy time calculator for more accurate effigy time saved, but maybe not. This has come out rather ramblish and I should explain what that long formula Thai posted is. That is my "golden formula" to determine what task list is optimal. What is does is converts all of the expected effigies, charms, and prayer xp in to hours saved through various methods. Then it subtracts the number of hours that the model predicts you will be slaying for your particular interval of slayer xp. Basically "Skilling hours saved - hours slaying" The task list that maximizes this function and does not have a negative expected value of slayer points is the optimal task list. I am me. Nothing more, nothing less.
  10. He also has only agility under 25M xp now. Correction, not agility but fishing. And even before he dumped, he only had fishing under 25m. Elvis is in great position to move up the ranks quickly if he chooses to do so. He has no effigy combos blocked. Also he only has 65m firemaking xp and 29m construction xp. He also seems to have the cash to do whatever he wants to so this could lead to big gains in the future if he chooses to go for higher ranks. If he were to go for 200m slayer and then get with in 15m of 200m firemaking and construction to leave the effigy combos open he could easily take first place overall. in other news since suomi started slaying in March he has gained a staggering 200k summoning xp. Kind of funny considering it is all from the little xp you get from summoning a familiar. Tezz is up to 131.8m Mage xp. I am excited to see if he goes for 200m summoning after Mage. Depending on whether or not he has cash left after 200m mage and summoning. He could get 200m range, fletching, and firemaking all for relatively cheap and be sitting at 14 skills at 200m xp with prayer, herb, crafting, and construction still all very low.
  11. Haha don't worry Suomi is here! Just give me a couple of months and I will fix it =P Well with more 2.3m slayer days you'll be there in no time. Congratz on the personal daily slayer record. Only 200k more until you pass Enrix for rank 5 slayer. After 200m slayer you should be somewhere around 2.9b total xp. That last 100m should come pretty quick while finishing out melee. Especially considering you'll have around 35m range xp left to get after slayer so that will go very quick at crawlers.
  12. That was quite a nice gesture of kindness Spartan3450. Personally if I had that much GP I would have made my donations for much more selfish reasons. I would have given suomi, tezz, and drumgun, enough bones for 200m prayer on the condition that they race for ranks. Then I would have grabbed a bag of popcorn sat back and watched. lol. OT: It seems that Tezz is using his donation to burst or barrage, hopefully he will get 200m summoning. Dapledo will soon get two more 100m+ skills to add to his collection with crafting and woodcutting.
  13. If he maxes buyables and starts cannoning cave crawlers He could certainly be a contender. As of now he is far far behind. 200m ranged already That won't make too horrible of a difference, for example Elias will reach about 800M virtual Range xp for maxed melees This^ Range is already consider a "time free" skill because of slayer. 200m range, if efficiency is of importance to the player, will always be done with the cannon while maxing melee because it provides more effigies. And even after 200m range the cannon should still be left on because the xp-hours lost on the melee skills from putting balls in the cannon is less than the xp-hours gained from the extra effigies it provides. This is the same argument for using a steel titan after 200m range.
  14. If he maxes buyables and starts cannoning cave crawlers He could certainly be a quick entry in to the top15. As of now he is far far behind. One thing I think we are getting ahead of our selves with is that he only got 99 summoning and prayer... Not exactly the most profound attempt at the 187m xp after 99. So we will have to see what his goals are. Let him at least max first before throwing his name around. Although it would be funny to see someone in the top15 with out max combat. So I am rooting for him. EDIT: People also need to start defining what they mean by "contender." This is the source of much debate and petty argument. Do you A) mean contender to 1st person to 200m all? or do you B) mean that he could get it like sooner than most?
  15. Attack, simply because you will get 200m attack and then 200m range before 200m hp and defense, so that way you will have 200ms every other skill up to mage. Purely aesthetic reasons. Either way congrats on 200m strength! With whatever task list you are doing right now, you should reach around 140-150m attack when you get 200m slayer. That leaves you with like 230m melee xp to kill whatever with. If you do cave crawlers you can expect close to 165m lamp xp, so that is RC almost done after melee.
  16. Because of that he is now 500k from 50m RCing meaning that he /could/ have the title of most skills over 50m to him self at 20 skills very soon, but if he continues as usual it could still take a while because he seems to like to build up quite a few effigies before using them. So we will see. Drumgun, the slumbering giant, had a pretty good day as well. He is up to 70m fishing and he is sitting at 150m WCing and 171m fletching.
  17. Any idea what Telmo is doing now that he got 200m hunter? By the looks of his track he was playing castle wars games and having fun barraging, but I am not 100% on that. And now it looks like he is doing livid farm, so my guess is he wants the completionist cape.
  18. Yeah, my model does not take in to account the time form when you finish your current task through getting a new one, banking, and getting to the new spot. Travel time is just assumed 0 because it is not worth calculating. Don't strain your self too hard over the milliseconds of each of your tasks, but any information you can get me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
  19. Hey thanks. You do not need to record gold charms, My model does not predict them because the gold charm drop rates were hard to come by. I may add them later if I can get reliable data. If you would record green, crimson, and blue, plus effigies and if you think default kills are close to what you get, or you enter your own kills per hour, record the time it takes to do that 1m xp in hours.
  20. I made a new version of my slayer model. It is much more user friendly and I am looking for people to test its accuracy so please go to my thread (http://forum.tip.it/topic/294895-designing-a-task-list/) and post any corrections, or task log data you have. Thanks to any who is willing to do some testing for me. Try plugging in your task list and then doing some slayer and see if the predictions are accurate. Note that this wont work great for very small intervals of slayer xp.
  21. Awesome. That would be great if you could make it a google spreadsheet, though I use one activeX button I don't think that google has that available so a way around that will have to be found. I'll PM you. Just a small internet meme: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/i-accidentally Thanks for taking a look if you are currently saying in RS if you could put in like 1m slayer xp interval and see if you get anywhere close to the expected numbers charms, and effigies. I would say you could do a smaller interval like 500k, but as the interval of slayer xp gets small more variation comes in to play.
  22. Some time ago I started work on a spreadsheet that attempts to predict the number of charms you would get from a certain slayer task list. After quite a bit of work and several iterations I have created a model in excel that predicts the outcomes of a particular task list over a certain interval of slayer xp. The model gives the expected number of green, crimson, and blue charms, the number of effigies, the prayer xp, slayer points, and how long it will take over any interval of slayer xp with any task list from Kuradel. I made this model so that a player could make informed decisions about what task list they want to do based on the outcomes they want. I have now updated the model so it looks decent and added an input sheet so you do not have to look at the very confusing model sheet. I am also quite confidant in the way to model works and it being correct so I am now posting this here for the general public and to get some feedback to further develop this tool. The things I need help on: - The way the model predicts all of these outcome values is by using the probability of being assigned any one particular task. The way these probabilities are collected is by doing slayer task with all task UNLOCKED and UNBLOCKED. This way all task have the chance to selected and the frequencies of getting these tasks are written down and then each individual task's probability is found by dividing that tasks frequency over the total number of unblocked tasks logged. So far I have help from two players who were gracious enough to remove all of their blocked tasks and do several hundred tasks. Currently I have 345 unblocked tasks logged. This is a good amount of, but not nearly enough to have statistically accurate probabilities. In order to be 95% confidant that the discovered probabilities are within .02 of the true mean, we would need at least 2400 unblocked tasks logged. So anyone willing help and remove their blocked tasks and gather frequency data would be much appreciated. - Because of the lack of unblocked tasks logged I am left with a 55% statistical error margin in my output data. This will be narrowed quickly with more unblocked tasks logged, but even with this is error I need players to test how accurate my model is by putting in their task list in to the model and seeing if they get around the same amounts of charms, effigies, xp, and time predicted by the model over a specific interval of slayer xp. - At the bottom of the output range you will notice a yellow highlighted cell called "Skilling Hs - Slayer Hs." This is my attempt at a master formula that would provide just one number as to how good a task list is. This would allow a player to just find the task list that maximizes this formula to find the optimal task list for them. This function is a very basic one taking the total hours of skilling saved from all of the effigies, charms, and prayer xp gained over your interval of slayer xp, then it subtracts the total hours slaying for the that xp interval. The task list that maximizes this function should be the optimal task list. I am by no means 100% confidant in my formulas for this function as of now so any and all help on developing this would be greatly appreciated. - If there are any people out there who know how to make excel functions that look up data from a website please let me know because I would like to make it so you could just enter your player name instead of entering your slayer and summoning xp by hand. How to use the model: I tried to make it very user friendly and I put usage instructions on the input sheet, so I am not going to explain how to use it here because I just want to see what errors people come up with so that I can prevent them from happing in future versions. So try and break the model mess around with it, see if you can find any issues and please report any bugs back to me. One thing I will say is that "E(slayer points)" is the expected value of slayer points every time you "roll" for task. If the number is positive you should expect to gain net slayer points over time if it is negative you should expect to lose net slayer points. One warning, none of the cells even in the model tab are locked so if you accidentally the model you will have to redownload it. I used excel2007 and the file is saved as a .xlsm so if you want to use the activeX button in the model you will have to enable macros. I am sorry to anyone who uses open office you will not be able to use the model well, but most of it should still work. Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/?z9m9zcwz172jbt7
  23. For drumgun and sumoi's position where they both have woodcutting and firemaking left to do, but don't care about mage xp has anyone tested if it would be best to still use adze at teaks and low alch the logs? or adze splitting pines? or d axe splitting pines?
  24. Thanks for the info, I see you got many nice vids already :) Just curious Suomi, do you keep your slayer drops in a bank tab or do you sell them as you get them? If so it would be interesting to see what 100m slayer xp gives in total drops. Similar to what Telmo did with his 58m slayer xp tab.
  25. i would say 7m xp/h is possible Can these be saved up? I am not sure how that mini game works. If they can be that would be something else you could do on the record day to get over 1b with out demonic thrones. Also instead of summoning it would be easier and better xp/h to just buy [cabbage] tons of zombie jars and get as many curved and long bones (preferably all curved) as possible and then on the record day run the bones. This might even be faster xp than nail beast pouches. Wow theres a max zeal? Suiciding in soul wars keeps up your activity so you dont have to worry about getting too much xp :) I think you could also use splash mage I got that from the wiki so who knows if that is actually true. I doubt anyone has amassed 50k SW points ever. I think Drumgun probably had the most and that was only like 6k. So I am not sure where the 50k comes from, but that is what I based the calculations on. The max slayer points, PC zeal, and Penguin points I know are correct.
