Maybe he shouldn't go Economy next time. Or maybe if you're to fat to fit in one seat you should pay for two. That is probably a worse solution and could maybe even encourage more lawsuits which I presume would be along the lines of 'Discrimination' or 'Mistreatment' for the large person(s). You'll be surprised how many times airlines get 'sued' on this very issue. If they have a problem with it, why can't the complainer pay for two seats? On a side note, Etihad Airways have constantly ranked in the top 5 for Best Economy class. I can only imagine how abused the American airlines are getting on this issue. Lol that's complete absurd logic. Why on earth would you ask the "complainer" to pay for two seats? He's not the one taking up more than his allotted space with his overly large body frame. If he's too fat to fit in his allotted space, he should pay for whatever extra space he's also likely to fill. And since you can't buy seats in fractions, his only option should be to pay the full price for two seats. I see no reason why an obese person should burden other innocents with his health issues. Be they hereditary or "self-inflicted". Maybe he shouldn't go Economy next time. Claiming that you suffer from back problems as a result of sitting next to an obese person seems a bit absurd, but I won't have much sympathy for the airlines if they're forced to pay out money. And I don't know about over there but here you can end up paying substantially more for a first class seat over a regular one. It's kind of a waste of money and you shouldn't have to pay that just to get something reasonable. Have you ever been seated next to an obese person for 10+ hours in economy seating? A person that takes up a good 20% of your already extreme small seat. If you are forced to contort your body to avoid making personal contact with that person, it's really no surprise he suffered a back injury. And yes, you are right. Business class is generally 3 times the price of economy. First class is anywhere from 4 - 5 times the price.

I brielfy skimmed through an article earlier today about a man suing Etihad Airlines for seating him next to an obese person (think it was a man) on a 14 hour flight, and as a result he now suffers from back problems which has an impact on his sleep and career. All i can say is it's about damn time someone started suing for this bullshit. Hope he gets every single penny and more. It's time airline start getting their shit together.

So apparently the last DLC for The Witcher 3 is going to be the NG+ patch. Not sure how i feel about this to be honest. I haven't touched TW3 in about a month because i've been waiting for this to happen. I'm afeared i won't be leaving my house when that happens. On a different note, i booked my hotel and bought my ticket for Greece today. Exams in August. Can't wait to get this shit out of the way. I've been procrastinating for like 3 years now.

I remember when i was stuck on JFK for 3 hours. I thought that was bad. Everything was closed except for one store that sold sandwiches at like $10 each, and water was like $5 or something stupid. I remember there was a "Tonight show" or "Late night with" kind of show on TV with Charlize Theron as the guest. Cold as shit outside. Every time i went out for a cigarette i near froze to death. I'm sure you'll be fine though. Depending on which airline you're flying with, i'd look into their guest/business lounges if i were you.
  6. Texting is a part of communication. All you need to do is learn the other person's style of texting and if something is unclear, you ask them. It's pretty basic. This is pretty true. If you know a person for long enough, texting almost becomes as natural as a face-to-face conversation. "Natural" really isn't the right word but you'll have an idea of her mood/tone just by what she says. Me and my ex, for example. I knew that she only said certain things when she was unhappy. Or what she would say when she was pretending to be excited about something. Or whatever. Yeah, body language is a big part of communication. But i think the longer you know someone, the less important it gets with certain matters. With that said, i'm not a big fan of texting either. Especially not in the beginning phases of a relationship. I find it a tedious chore, and i'd rather prefer to avoid making it a habit.

Like at the start of the month i got Assassins Creed: Black Flag (free with Xbox Gold). Played it for like 10 minutes, then got bored/frustrated with it. I watched a friend of mine play it for like 30 minutes about a year ago. Looked pretty bad. I wasn't keen on the whole Pirate thing. Didn't see it really fitting in. Anyway, so i played it for like 10 minutes then stopped. Yesterday for whatever reason i decided to give it another go. Or at least i think it was yesterday. I've been sitting here playing for a good 20 hours without moving. Once i got the hang of things it turned out to be really fun. I kind of like the Naval-Warfare part of it, a lot. Assassins Creed still has some of the worst controls ever though. Work starts again on Sunday. I'm excited to head back.

Here's the problem i have though. If i tip only when i receive good service, i'll always receive good service. Whether my server had a bad day, whether she dislikes my attitude for whatever reason. Etc. I'll always receive good service because she'll want to work for her tip. Now, with your "always tip no matter what" mentality, i get a server that takes 15 minutes to take my order, 15 minutes to bring me my drink, brings me cold food, gives me attitude, etc. And you're telling me i should still tip her? I'm sorry, that's laughable logic. You're giving someone a tip for giving you bad service? I've left restaurants where i wouldn't leave a single dollar tip on a $1000 check and i didn't feel bad at all, because the server was bad. Bad to the point i wouldn't go back to that restaurant. And then i've been to places where i'd leave a $50 tip on a $100 check, because the server was awesome. And that's how it should be. You get rewarded for good service, and you don't for bad service. I'd much rather have them increase the price by a flat % instead of making me feel "pressured" to pay some random person for doing their job poorly.

I thought minimum wage was like $7-something? Don't they need to be paid at least minimum wage? In all honesty, $7/h really isn't that bad lol. When i was working in a Music Store in South Africa i was getting R22/h which at the time was around $2.50-ish. Unless you meant the people here, in which case i would guess your estimate of $2-3/h is on par.

What i hate is when i people expect a tip. When i was still in Florida we had a girl get all offensive with us one day when we didn't leave a tip. We were a table full of Europeans and then me. Was a funny day. Here we don't tip either. It's actually discouraged because people don't want it to become a habit. But here you actually feel bad if you don't leave a tip, since the folks here make nest to nothing.
  14. I hate taking a poop only to realise my toilet paper has run out. And the toilet paper is in a cupboard on the second floor. And my mom's friend is living with us for a few weeks and her room is also on the second floor. And my room is on the third floor. So you see my problem.

Lol you know i think so many people in so many different professions all over the world feel your pain. I have friends with various different degrees that end up in a completely different field because it's the only job they can get. I know a guy in Spain that's had his pilot license for over a year and a half now, and he flips burgers at Mc Donalds. It's not about what you know, it's about who you know. My sister has been head of the legal department at her firm for just over 3 years now. She doesn't have any sort of law/legal degree. She read a lot of Jeffry Archer and John Grisham books as a teenager, made a few good connections here, and bullshitted her way into a job.

I think in the case of Hardline most would agree that it's a good choice not to have bought it. Apparently it's the worst Battlefield game ever made, haha. People have a lot of complains about it, and apparently some of the premium features that were supposed to be out already or in the near future will only be out early 2016. Also, the game is apparently already "dead" on PC. I really can't say the same for console though.

So uhhh... eventful week or two... So it turns out i'm in the clear. I'm not in any danger of getting arrested/deported. It's kind of a messed up story. Basically the girl that told us all that we had a warrant out for our arrest was the girl at whom's house this entire event took place. Her "source" either has no idea what he's talking about, or she wanted us all to suffer the way she had to suffer (ie. get deported). I spoke to a friend of mine about this more or less 10 days ago, and he told me he would look into it for me. Day or two later he called me back and told me that i had no record, nothing at all on my name. The two people that got deported over this story were both put down as dealers and smugglers (which they weren't, but that's a different story). So it seems i get to stay here. Not sure how i feel about that. As much as i hate South Africa, i was kind of looking forward to "starting" over. But at the same time, i get to keep my car, i get to keep my job, and i guess that's pretty cool. And for the life of me i can't decide whether or not i should buy the Battlefield DLC.

About a week ago i contacted my old school regarding some fees i paid, but never ended up using (because i never finished the course with them). So i contacted the head of training to inform him that, obviously, i don't intend on returning as i will be completing my course elsewhere. As a result i wanted to get a refund. I estimate it to be somewhere around 20-25k, so it's not like i was just going to let it be. As i expected, i am yet to get a reply from him. I've seen this school push and manipulate a lot of students while i was there. I sincerely hope they do not expect me to bend over and take it up the ass like those before me.

Thought you were leaving/scared of imprisonment. Isn't Starbucks the least of your concerns? Not at the moment, no. I'll probably leave after Ramadan, so why not enjoy the last few weeks while i can. I don't think there's a Starbucks in South Africa, and if there is i doubt it's anywhere near where i live.

He's talking about the difficulty of pronouncing it not her skills at doing so, since 90% of that stations audience wouldn't be sure about how to pronounce it correctly either I know what he's talking about. But why would he say "pronunciation is the least of her problems" when clearly she has no problem pronouncing it. In fact, he's the one that has trouble. Maybe i'm missing something.
  23. Noxx replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
I don't get it, the dude says "Instead she got that thing called Ubuntu. Pronunciation was the least of her problems". But she's the only one pronouncing it correctly? What a [bleep]ing [wagon]. Mocking her about her pronunciation, and he's the one not saying it correctly =D>

For Honor looks really [bleep]ing good. And The Division looked really good too. Also excited for the new Hitman and Dark Souls 3. Late 2015/early 2016 is going to bankrupt me.
