Noxx

On my DH (which is what i was using) i have a good Bow (really good bow imo), good Amulet, and i think the Pants and Boots are good to. Everything else is non-Ancient and needs some work. I've spent probably about.... 50k shards on Kadala gambling for Shoulders/Chests/Gloves over the past few days and haven't seen an Ancient UE piece yet.

Tomorrow is the day. The Witcher 3 is coming out, and i already told my boss he won't be seeing me at work for a few days. Just going to be there for two or three meetings and the rest of the time i'll be at home nerding it up. Can't wait.

I've been doing some farming the past 3 or 4 days. Still have 120 Rift Keys left as well. Going to use them all before i start doing GRifts again. Funny thing is, in those ~100 Rifts i didn't get 1 upgrade. https://xboxdvr.com/gamer/Slaytanicc/screenshot/242800

Not really a fan of it tbh. I would have preferred if it was more like Dark Souls or something. I'm not really keen on the rotating thing. But i guess you get used to it after a while. Got robbed today. Had a really good 55 with this build. RG spawns with ~5 minutes left and it's Stonesinger. I think i have it all wrapped up, but turns out Stonesinger is just about the worst RG for a Carnevil build. Took me about 10 minutes to kill it. I cried for a few hours afterwards. I can't see myself getting a 55 like that again. Was literally so easy. Good density, good mobs, good maps. Just a shitty RG. Taking a break with my WD for a while now, going to be messing around with my Monk and DH. Got them both up to 53 as well. I can see myself getting 55 with the DH easily. Such a fun build once you get used to it. Still need to upgrade a few pieced of equipment too. I never found DH to be fun, as much as easy for clearing stuff fast. Being able to see chucks of HP being taken off a 50+ RG is pretty damn cool though. And DHs require a much different playstyle than other classes, so it's a fun change. Not that I don't agree with the first part, but the second part gets kinda boring especially using a marauders set. Don't think anyone will be using M6 for a while now. It's all about UE and Nat's now. Both sets that require you to actually do more than put down a sentry and run around, lol.

Yet another 52. It's really pissing me off. The last few 51's and 52's ive done were all pretty decent GRifts. Good layouts, good mobs, good RG. Then soon as i do a 53 i get trash. Anyhow, in case you're curious about my gear:

I think cigarettes are a hunger suppressant, so that makes sense, especially if you are also using food as a replacement hand-to-mouth activity. I think I understand how you feel though. I take a drug that suppresses hunger, and to fend off starvation my body apparently decided to flip the "eat something now" switch to on permanently, almost regardless of hunger. It becomes a problem when you consider that I'm actually not dangerously underweight (used to be close), and after years of adapting to the medication, it's now an integral part of not having a rapidly expanding waist size (my inseem is longer than my waist, and I would prefer to keep things that way :lol:). If I ever stop needing the medication, I will have to find a way to arrange my life so that I am never sitting down near my kitchen, particularly to watch TV, lest I eat a jar of pickles every day (I get really specific cravings. Pickles are currently a common one, as is hot chocolate). Yeah cigarettes do suppress hunger (somewhat). I used to joke around saying it's cheaper for me to smoke than it would be for me to quit. Seems i wasn't too far off. It's crazy, i feel like i have to be eating something the entire time. But it'll just take some getting used too, i think. It was the same when i started taking my ADHD medication. I was thirsty the entire time. I drank more water in a day that i previously did in a week. And now i hardly even notice it. One thing that's kind of disappointing though is that i've actually lost 3kg since i stopped smoking. I was like 10-12kg underweight already, and i was actually excited at the thought of gaining a bit of weight. When i checked earlier today... well i lost 3kg. I'm probably one of the few people who lose weight after they quit smoking.

So since i stopped smoking i figured i'd save a bit of money each month, probably around $100. Well... i was wrong. Pretty sure i'm spending more than $100 a month now, on cookies and shit. I've been eating like a pig since i stopped smoking. Probably not a bad thing. I was about 15kg under weight. Won't be for long, at this rate.

Was playing Dark Souls 2 earlier and uhhh... i got a bit frustrated which ended up in me punching my couch. Now my hand hurts... I feel like i've become very short tempered since i stopped smoking. I'm generally a lot happier than i previously was, I sleep better, etc. but it takes very little for me to snap. Oh and they put up speed bumps (more like a hill though, if you ask me) on the road behind my house recently (probably within the last day or two). They haven't put up any road-signs or painted them yet. So last night on my way to a friend's house i caught one of them at about 50kmph and that shit sent me flying. Car got pretty banged up since it's only about 5 or 6 inches off the ground. I generally have a hard time going over a bump driving <10kmph, so doing 50 really isn't desirable.

I usually prefer Power + Channeling. If you're using a class with a big spender, it's insane.

It's got nothing to do with insecurity. It's about standards. Our client wanted english, not gibbering and slang. So do most other companies we do business with. If the American is unable to adjust to proper English, if he's adamant on using his slang, then clearly he should seek employment elsewhere. Somewhere where it's acceptable to sound like a 5-year old. And to be honest, i can't classify "should of" or "most everything" as colloquialisms. "Cuppa" or "Barbie" are examples of slang and/or colloquialisms. "Should of" or "most everything" are examples of either poor education, or laziness. Neither of which are well suited for a senior position. I find it disturbing that i have to defend proper English.

and I doubt your client was. Your client was probably some arab :lol: I think the fact that your in Qatar (or where ever) plays into the interaction whether or not the client was arab or not. An Arab who speaks English, as a second language, better than an American raised on English. That would be correct. EDIY: Now MR. America can go back the the USA and have all that Freedom.

Apparently it's not the first time he's made mistakes like that. The client actually asked our superior if it would be possible for someone else to handle the correspondence because he (our client) was getting frustrated with having to read e-mails filled with spelling and grammatical errors. When my boss was approached about this, he used the excuse that "what does spelling and grammar matter, as long as they're getting the message". That's the problem with a lot of westerners here. They think they're untouchable in the workplace. I think this is ridiculous to be honest. Your politicians might as well be saying "We're okay with you being under-educated"

Piss-poor excuse. Perhaps these kids should start paying attention is class. It'll keep them from getting fired, for being unprofessional, in the future. For context, my boss got fired yesterday for losing a multi-million dollar contract because in an e-mail he sent out to our client, he used not just one, but both "should of" and "most everything". We're an advertising company. If our head of design can't spell, no one wants to do business with us.

People who say "most everything" and "should of". Like, get a [bleep]ing education.

I remember the days when conduits were more common.. those were the days. tbh I miss having conduit that much. Makes the game less boring Yeah man. Conduits are ASS now as well. In GR50+ they don't even get you 3% progression. Power Pylon is where it's at now.

Managed to complete another 52 today. Was a very up-and-down GRift honestly. Started off really bad. Elite with plague, arcane, and i can't remember the other two, right at the entrance. Couldn't get past him either, because there's a wall of bullshit right behind him. Took me 4 minutes to move more than 20 years away from the door. So i was sitting at 11 minutes left and only like 6% progress. I wasn't very hopeful. Rest of the GRift turned out so good. It was one of those sewer maps with the very long tunnels which is PERFECT for my build. I was sitting at 98% with 4 minutes left and then got stuck on another Elite pack with Reflect and Arcane. Couldn't get past him either, because there was another elite pack waiting behind him. Finally, with a minute and a half left i spawn the RG and thanks to a Power Pylon right next to me, i luckily managed to take him down with about 20 seconds left. It's insane when you hit that Power Pylon, with Big Bad VooDoo, and Convention of Elements. You see 1.8b crits all over the place for 4 seconds. Can literally take out like a quarter of the RGs HP in those seconds. Hopefully i can get similar luck with a 53 now.

Went out with a few friends last night. Group of Arabic guys sitting at the table opposite us asked if we wanted to join them. We decided why not. They turned out to be pretty cool guys. When we left, we were shaking hands and my friend (who's really into watches) complimented one of the guys on his watch. I think it was one of the new Rolex(es?) or something. He almost had to fist-fight the guy to keep him from giving it to him (my friend). He ended up still having to take it. Was pretty hilarious to watch (get it?).

I did 4 GR52's and 2 GR53's and only managed to get this 52 done. The two 53's were really bad. Started off good with two easy elite packs right at the entrance. Second map of the GR was shit. One of them had Exorcists all over the place (on an open map). Couldn't get away from them. I ended up rage-quitting that one. Second 53 spawned Hamelin with about a minute 30 left. I ended up killing him 3 or 4 seconds after time ended. Almost broke a controller. The 52's were all just plain bad. Bad layouts for a Dart build, bad mobs. Really frustrating. The 52 i finally managed to do... well even that wasn't too great. Pretty bad layout, lots of Reflect elites. Not a very fun time. Managed to do it though. Was pumped.

Not sure if you know who MannerCookie is (i think he's a really popular Barb or Crusader and he streams very often), but he recently got banned because of the Bloodshard Exploit. Lot's of account resets and rolled-back. Crazy!
