I used claws when I did 2x nomad and I think I had under 20xp drops for all 4 specs that I used -.- In the quest though, on the various accounts I've done Nomad on I've always used BGS/SWH. These spec weps are pretty effective for lowering his melee defence, but yeah storm of armadyl+gano is probably your best bet without SS

I watched Yumekui as it was airing and I was really disappointed by the ending...well nothing really new with JC Staff and bad endings. But doesn't hurt to give it a go; I should go read the manga now though. Bit late for this season but really enjoying Fate/Zero, Penguindrum, and Mirai Nikki. Fall season's pretty good this year. FZ and Mirai Nikki are really good (and imho FZ could take "anime of the year"). Isn't Penguindrum a Summer anime? Haven't seen it yet myself :S Since the year is closing, any thoughts on shows that were great in 2011? Imo... The year started off slow, with winter only really pulling in Mahou Shoujo (and KnT 2 for the fangirls out there :P but both shows were pretty top notch), summer was in my eyes the slowest season (blood C, usagi drop, kamisama dolls are the only notable mentions though I didn't really like any of these)... Halfway through the year things started to get rolling though. I'd say Spring had by far the largest number of enjoyable animes (kaiji 2, steins gate, AnE, C, ano hana, nichijou, gintama 2, hanairo (@@@@@@) lol), now Fall so far is cropping up to take the top ranks with FZ and mirai nikki. I know it's not even December yet but here's my personal top 3 this year so far: 1. Fate/Zero 2. Ano Hana 3. Nichijou I know MAL users have rated Gintama 2 waaaaaay at the top of the all-time list (#1 with a rating of 9.27, wow), but personally I never really got into it (yes, despite the fact that I did catch the vast majority of the references/parodies).

Quick update on recent happenings... - Made about 20m last night from the new Ganodermic creatures, as well as landing myself 2 effigies. - Finished another court case (HAM vs Dorgeshuun), now waiting 2 weeks to do Mime vs the People - Up to 400 kills in Dom Tower (still haven't gotten 3 apes...) - Got my 3rd journal page in DT Heading out tonight but the plan is to get circus done before work tomorrow morning as well as a few dungeons.

You mean melee? When I did green during the quest I didn't kite him, I just sat and prayed melee and I don't think the prayer drain was that bad.

Would it be a good idea to simply lure green behind a pillar and then pray melee? Afterwards, praying mage I'd target red. I just did Do No Evil two days ago actually, so the fights are still pretty fresh in my mind and I don't remember red (the first fight in Polli smoke dungeon, right?) being a very difficult/long/damaging fight.

I'm 391 boss kills in and I haven't managed to kill the 3 apes yet. I got them twice in climber while clearing handicaps but I was at 15+ and had no pray/no food hc both times so... Right now I'm doing endurance until I get a rape class A boss, then leaving and redoing and I haven't seen them since. Is this the fastest way to unlock this boss? It's the only one I'm missing. What other methods can I use? Also, since this boss appears to be pretty damn rare (my endurance runs total about 200-250 worth of my kills) I don't want to screw up when I get to them. What's the best way to guarantee that I'll beat them? Right now my setup is neitz, bcp, tassets, fc, fury, rapier, ddef, dboots, zerk (i), barrows gloves, knockout... I bring 2 ovls, 2 prayer renews, 2 ppots, 2 spec restores, cls, maul, spirit cape, claws, uni pouch, uni scrolls, super antifire, and the rest scorpion meat. Tactics/setups that would make my life easier or that are just in general much better are essentially what I'm looking for. It's pretty annoying that I'm nearly on 500 kills and still haven't found this boss =/ Is uni the best familiar for me to use (90 summ) or should I go with geyser?
