  1. They used to do that. Back in RS1, do you remember waiting to kill the new quest bosses? Then they came out with the flashing arrow thingy, like in Barrows. They could do that here, but then it wouldn't be multi. What Jagex wants (I believe) is to bring together the community. Laff. If that is truly their goal, then they are even more hopelessly clueless than I originally thought. If they ACTUALLY played their game, they'd know how self-absorbed the vast majority of players are... The CB brought players together, as it is so powerful that you can only hope to kill it with a large team. This, however, is easily soloable, even without prayer... Thus, there is no need for a multi-combat arena. A monster so easy that is available to anyone in the world only serves to fracture the community, not bring it together. The exact same problem was what caused all the tension at Bandos... It was the easiest GWD boss by far, thus overcrowding occurred. However, people would take large teams, so that compensated for only having one boss. With this, everybody alone is vying for a kill, so it's far more frustrating than Bandos. Never said I thought they were achieving that goal, I am just saying it seems like that is their goal.

  3. Well-designed competition is good. Stupidly-designed competition is bad. Why make a monster that is easy to kill and has good drops, but then restrict how often it can be killed by limiting it to one per world? Why create a situation that puts players at each other's throats unnecessarily? It's simply bad design, period. You know, I used to respect your opinion, Qeltar. However, now it seems that you complain to complain. Every single update seems to push your buttons. Why do you still play?
  4. Heh, I turn 22 on the 26th. You do know why all bdays are in September, right? 9 months after xmas and new years....all the good mommies and daddies gettin trashed and gettin frisky over the holidays.
  5. Meh. Not really that impressed, hope they don't screw it up...
  6. Trying to be a smartass? This is much more than just supply and demand. Rumors, panicking, well thought-out sales (merching), plus a bad system (GE). Trying to be a smartass? You just named various things that effect demand, Ace. The only points that you brought up that aren't supply/demand are the last two. Although, you can argue that the bad system is supply.
  7. Does yours? Yes, it does. When I ask a serious question, and someone responds being a little [puncture], I tell them to F off and stop being a [puncture]. I ask again, does yours? Do you always go around acting like a [puncture]? All I did was answer your question. You do know you can't tell someone's tone of voice over the internet right? P.S. I'm not the one using foul language to get my point across.... Lol, ok. I have to head to work. Reread your first post, with an open mind, mk? No matter if you meant it or not, it was posted in a condescending manner. Once again, I have to head to work.
  8. Nah, I didn't. Come to think of it, I probably should have  Ah well. I will probably get it again.

  10. My apologies. I should have spent every waking moment on this forum, digging through, just so I know when a topic has been mentioned before. Tell me, does your real life personality match your online personality?
  11. Why would they even consider having an ad like this on their main site? It asks for specific details, which they are very adamant about NOT handing out...
  12. Put it in the noobs say funniest things thread. This is what I was cramming up before school starts for me (tommorrrow). And thanks to a tropical depression I'll do King's ransom and maybe some other quest too. South Florida ftw. Psssst! You can still read Broward
  13. Working on 99 def now, then I might do a couple fast easy 99's. (Cook and Fletch)
  14. Wow, nice. I am working towards that myself.
  15. Wow just wow, you actually took him seriously?
  16. But world 2 is almost always crowded, which means monsters respawn quicker.
  17. I'm pretty sure at that point he was saying it in jest, and aside from that the kbd was in a quest last year. So sorry to burst your bubble... er twice. "i don't talk much to postie pete, so i dont' know if its a common thing that he says hes "on a top secret mission" and it interesting how he says im on a mission for "The Burth..."?? whos this Burth??? And about this new wildy quest jagex is releasing...maybe it has somethign to do with the NPC's in the camp roaming around?" 1. Doesn't sound like Jest at all....in any form. Bubble not burst. 2. Never knew the KBD was in a quest. Bubble burst. 1 out of 2 ain't terrible
  18. Hate to burst your other bubble, but a quest would have nothing to do with them. I remember training on them back in rs1. I would fight them, and use my drops to buy ingredients to make pizzas to train with. This was shortly after Jagex came out with pizzas. Trust me, this was a long time ago. I remember doing it at my sisters dorm room when she was a freshman in college. Lets see. I'm a senior in college, and she is 2 years ahead of me. Holy crap. That was 5 years ago.... So yea, nostalgic moment gone now. The NPC's have always been there, I'm afraid. That is like saying the King Black Dragon will be in a quest....
  19. I threw that out there trying to understand what he was implying, but the more I think about it, the more I like it. It would have to be a second login screen, however. Otherwise, if I log out at Mith Dragons I run the risk of dying while I enter my P.I.N. Another thing to point out with that is is would eliminate the need to enter your P.I.N. anywhere else. While you aren't saving any time, it would feel like you were saving time in-game. (At least, thats how it would seem to me)

  21. On my signature is a way to make it better, but that's just a example. As for how a pass shud be, i agree with you. 20 letters= hard to remember and annoying. Um, Depends. It is easier for me, as my University requires me to have a 20 letter pass with a combination of Capital, Lowercase, and numbers. My current pass in Runescape is my gf's name and part of her phone number. Would be hard to guess unless you know me irl.
  22. I was thinking more along those lines. However, something about it just gives me a weird feeling....
