  1. Yes, it's better to un-note the actual planks unless you want to save some money. Even then, you'd have to value your time fairly low for it to be worth it. Also, you don't even need to bring any items with you to train construction anymore, since toolbelt update. You can select planks from dialogue options, and pay the butler from bank. I would recommend using demon butler unless you're really slow.
  2. The past few times it has been running late by a good 5-10 minutes. I think the September one was pretty bad actually.
  3. For ImageShack, you can look to the right of the image where it says "embed this image" and just copy paste that here, removing the link to ImageShack.

Lol. I vote comp cape requirements, like shattered heart and MA.
  5. Well, they take roughly 80 minutes to grow, so it would be .75 runs per hour.
  6. No need to apologize at all. I'll link you to some stuff that you should find interesting: My logs My calculator, which is based on my logs Greenfinger Data Farming Distribution
  7. If you are worried about losing money from herbs dying, do note that it's still very good money even if you average a death every other run (which is pretty much the average). With this in mind, ranarrs are 130k/run assuming you have scroll of life.
  8. It's generally accepted that 45 herbs/run is the average. I have quite a large sample size of my own that supports this. As for greenfingers, myself and another member of these forums have logged over 1k seeds with greenfingers and are not getting anywhere close to 5%. It's actually at 3.2% currently. Now that's pretty significant. So that's why I don't think it's 5%. Yes, it could just be terrible luck and it isn't a very large sample size (compared to most), but I don't think it can be ignored. It's pretty interesting stuff, really.
  9. I'm confused.. what do you mean by this? In other mmorpgs clans=guilds. I assumed that's what he meant, yeah. But if he means like crafting guilds etc, that's different. I dunno how that would work out. Derp, wow. I think I misinterpreted what the OP was suggesting in every way possible. :---)
  10. Grats on untrimmed HP! [item=502] and [item=532] might match.
  11. You could do broad arrows for fletching. They are very fast experience outside of BXP, and are a bit on the pricy side so it's a pretty decent option.
  12. Hey, I've split this post off from the other thread, since it's deserving of a topic on it's own. We were getting slightly off-topic, so now we can focus fully on herb runs. ------- By runs, I'm referring to farming all 5 patches. Putting a gp/hr on herb runs is slightly misleading since you can't farm herbs for an hour straight. It's kind of like buying items from a shop and reselling for higher price: it takes a few minutes per day, but can only be done once per day. If you do it for a few months, it will only have taken you an hour of in game time, therefore making it very good gp/hr. As for how long a run takes: They are around 5 minutes, so most people can do 12 runs per hour of being logged in (60 seeds). If you have done a lot of livid farm, you can unlock the lunar spell 'Teleport to Trollheim' which places you a few steps away from the My Arm's patch. This saves around 1 minute of running, therefore putting you at 15 runs/hr. Herb runs can consistently average sub-3 minutes if you have ardy 4 cape and Teleport to Trollheim, so it's possible to do 20-22 runs per hour if you log out at a herb patch. But, most people don't do this, so 5 minutes is generally the time used which also conveniently matches the juju timer. As for a guide: It's up to personal preference which route you take. If you have juju potions, then it's usually best to start at trollheim, so that you don't run out. I personally do Catherdy->Phasmatys->Ardougne->Falador->Trollheim.
  13. I'm confused.. what do you mean by this?
  14. Forgetting the seeds back is very, very substantial. It adds extra 140k profit/run, so that would be tacking on an extra ~1.7m/hr. Scroll of life gives more profit from the seeds than the actual herbs (for torstol). :P And, I said that 4.5m/hr was possible with remote farm and auras. 2.2m/hr is what it currently is, assuming 45 herbs/run. Also, it's pretty easy to do 15 runs/hr, but I assume 12 since most people don't have lunar teleport to trollheim. ------ Welcome to the forums. Interesting that you joined to discuss the finer points of herb farming. EDIT: If anyone wants to discuss this further, please head here, as this is getting pretty off-topic and deserves a new thread.
  15. It's worth it if you want comp cape (so that means imbuing it before combat) or plan to do a ton of ffa. Other than that, meh. You'd have to do a lot of combat in order to save 20 something hours at MA. Then again, you can afk it while doing school/movies, so it isn't so bad.
  16. It's late and I have a science olympiad in the morning. I'm modding a test on remote sensing. Should be fun.
  17. Yes, I'm double posting. That is all.
  18. Jagex had that implemented at one point for low level players. It had a chance of giving xp lamps (capped daily), and iirc it was some of the best prayer/rc xp in the game for f2p. You would give some guy in lumbridge low level stuff in return for the rewards.
  19. Now you can feel like the rest of us...well except Leik and myself.
  20. If you can't get under 40, then just leave a few logs behind tbh. Have you considered planking with your butler?
  21. i mean the spreadsheet had 2.7x multiplier going for 60 mins and every multiplier after that had 60 min intervals like that when actually its 2.7x for 30 mins and every multiplier has 30 minutes of time. but i think ill be buying super def supps post-bxpw to finish the job. source: http://services.rune...th-of-september And no, I didn't just add that in; I haven't touched that spreadsheet in 27 days. It's your call. But they need to be worth a lot of money for it not to be worth it on BXP.
  22. 165 patches is not nearly a large enough sample size; you are just having good luck. The data can be further skewed if you are curing your plants, which is not usually taken into consideration unless you have remote farm. At the moment, no one has yet presented me with data that shows greenfinger t2 boosts harvest by 5%, so I tend to think that the description is incorrect.
  23. GF his shit indeed. It's 3am.. I need sleep.
  24. Wow, I had forgotten I even made that. AFAIK, it *should* be correct since I'm assuming that half-hour is = to 30 mins. It depends if it would be cheaper to do it after bxp. If you are paying triple the price before bxp, then it's not really worth it. (Ignoring the time saved here, since it's a pain to calculate.) So you should guess what you might pay after bxp and go from there.
