You want to maximize your magic attack, not defence. Full slayer helm, glory, mystic top, mystic bottom, mystic boots, rfd gloves, unholy book, mage arena cape, and your best staff. Ideally, you might want to skip the task since they suck.

Haha, yeah good luck with that! Err, my biggest regret would probably be not camping a boss before the effigy nerf. I decided to get all of my effigy skills to 97 before starting slayer/bossing. And I guess waiting like 3 months after juju potions came out to start my mega herb farming obsession; I could've made a killing. And, like everyone else, not buying rares when they were relatively dirt cheap.

Whip is fine for defence.. if you want the best weapon to train all 3, look into the [item=9911].

Well now that the security issue is hopefully fixed... Torstols are not worth doing (even in Trollheim) unless you have juju potions and scroll of life. Snapdragon is usually the best bet since it offers a mix of good experience and profit. Torstol only becomes better if you buy and sell at the right time, or use remote farm. If you plan on farming seriously, get scroll of life asap and then work on hunter (how convenient!) so you can get juju potions. You might also want to look into buying some dailies (battlestaves, broad arrowheads/unf bolts) and MTK.

It most likely shouldn't... Jagex fixed that issue and afaik, no one has lost binds in server crashes since then.

I haven't done many solo c6 dungeons, but 7 minutes seems a little high. For solo meds, sub 15s are pretty decent, although you can eventually get that down to consistent 12s probably.

Figured that I'd reply to this since I imagine that this feeling might dissuade a lot of people. Heck, I'm still pretty nervous whenever I'm replying to a report. All the mods are in constant communication and if you have a question about what to do with a certain topic, you can ask for a second opinion. Everyone does this, from the lowliest noobs to the veteran super mods. I don't think a day has gone by where one of us haven't asked another mod for their opinion on what to do. We all have our areas of forum and in game knowledge, so if you aren't familiar with the finer points of AHK whether a user is just trolling or being noobishly sincere what is the best slayer gear a certain post that vaguely breaks the rules whether or not a topic should be moved to rants or deleted chances are there is another mod online that can help you. Don't let the fear of messing up stop you from applying.

I'm pretty sure that it's supposed to be one big party before Lent begins (Where a substantial portion of Christians, specifically Catholics, and probably some Orthodox groups, go without many luxuries for the 40 days leading up to Easter). It's actually pretty prevalent in the Americas. The US has its equivalent in Mardi Gras, and I'm guessing that most of us have at least heard of heard of Carnival (It was even the subject of a Simpsons episode, from when they were still funny). The point being that it isn't some holiday that Jagex invented to give us a silly hat. Well said. And yes, you can't forget Mardi Gras in New Orleans! I don't see the problem with Jagex making another mini holiday event....

Do explain a bit more. Do you support the decision of capping effigies and/or the nerf to drop rate? I am interested as to why you think so.
