  1. I'm not quite sure what the problem is.. You aren't supposed to be downloading it, you need to make a copy of it. Log in to Gmail -> File -> Make a copy..Then you can edit the cells in green. I have drop down menus for the juju section, so you don't need to worry about typing in different answers. I actually partially disallow it so that people only give the answers that will work. Scroll of life comes into effect by solely increasing profits based on my rate of getting seeds back. As for auras: No aura = none Greenfingers = T1 Greater = T2 Mater = T3 unreleased = T4
  2. What do you mean? It's been working fine for me. I'd definitely recommend Greenfingers if you're going to farm torstol. 3% is pretty relevant. This is what I'm referring to. Both are done with master greenfingers.
  3. I guess my previous post wasn't clear.. I meant don't farm torstols without juju; everything else is still reasonably profitable. I even mentioned snaps in my post. And Sink, I suggest you take a look at those pictures I posted.. scroll of life is such a cheap reward for a free 20k per run from snapdragons. That's an extra 10% profit.
  4. I think you summed it up pretty well in your chat. :o That was insane.
  5. If you have a Gmail account you can make a copy and edit it.. That's actually why I made it. As you can see, it scroll of life doesn't make a very big difference except for snapdragon and especially torstol. (~20k and ~110k, respectively)
  6. Well, you can make some super potions until you hit 81, since they are pretty cheap xp. Sara brews are currently the best tradeable potion to make, so you would make those until you hit 84. Here is a current cost of each potion.
  7. I really don't see a reason to do this. Care to elaborate? As I said before, the discussion is good as long as it stays clean, since it is both on topic and gives some life to this thread.
  8. it was going to be either hunter or herblore (if i had the cash for it). How do I use your spread sheet btw? I would need to make all the pre reqs and prolly have to buy everything for the pots. So how much do you think it would cost me for this do you think? I dont have the scroll of cleansing btw. DO NOT GET 99 herblore without scroll of cleansing.. Seriously, it saves millions. If you want to use the spreadsheet you have to have a Gmail account, sorry. Everyone's spreadsheets has that limitation because if we allowed anyone to edit it, then vandals go and destroy it. Not much I can do about that. :( All you need to do is log in to your account, and make a copy.. then you can plug in your values. As for a cost, you are looking ballpark 200m not on BXP.. this could be way off, since it is very difficult to estimate since I have no idea what kind of pots you plan on making.
  9. I would love 90 torstols a run, haha. (For the record, my record is 75). 45 herbs per run is the average WITH juju potions. The thing with torstol is that a large portion of your profit comes from seeds back (around 110k profit per run from seeds back). If you are interested, I'm pulling all of these numbers from this.
  10. No, you'll want to use slayer helm for melee slayer. Not quite sure if you are ranging some tasks, might be better for a few. The actual armor itself is useful for tasks where you need some mage def, since the prayer bonus on elite is nice.
  11. A year ago, I bought my laptop for $450 dollars, and it works pretty good for me. Granted, it was regularly $800 and I wish that I had gotten more RAM, but eh. Dell Inspiron 15R (N5010) Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit Intel i3-m370 2.4 GHz 4GB RAM ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v
  12. Well hopefully it doesn't come to this. The discussion is going quite well so far, and as long as we don't fling mud at each other, it's nice to have something to discuss.
  13. Very nice! It's one of the few accomplishments in the game that really impresses me.
  14. Yes, torstols are currently the second best herb to farm for profit, after snapdragons. (It's about a 45k difference.) However, I generally only recommend farming torstol if you can afford to stock up on seeds and and pretty large stocks of grimy herbs in bank for good times to buy and sell, respectively. Prices are pretty volatile, so one day they might be the best, then the next day they are a terrible profit. Yes, you'll have some terrible runs where you lose a million or so, but in the long run, you should be looking at better profit than snaps, assuming you buy and sell at good times. No particular strategies; starting at Trollheim isn't necessary to hit all 5 patches in the 5 minutes, though you aren't in such a rush. For greenfingers, it doesn't appear to give the correct boost, so stay away from it until the next batch is released in a few weeks. If nothing in there suits your fancy, then you should consider master greenfingers, which will tack on a good 50k more profit per run for torstols. (It actually should be an extra ~80k, but that is another issue.) There should be some pretty revolutionary t4 auras, so save up your points in case. Remote farm allows you to view all the farming patches remotely and see what stage they are at. It's quite useful since you can cure your diseased patches---they stand out in red. You'll also unlock the spell to teleport right next to the trollheim patch, which saves a good 45 seconds of running. Only bother with Livid Farm if you plan on getting comp cape or want to do a ton of farming, since it is very grindy.
  15. +1 Why I don't use it tbh. -1 I use the hood because it is ugly tbh. But yes, there really isn't much point in using tiaras anymore unless you want to be a princess.
  16. Kimberly is a man?!?! This I did not know.....
  17. Don't bother with farming until you get juju.. You CAN NOT consistently farm torstols for profit unless you always use remote farm, which is unreasonable.. And lol, its only like 1k profit per run on average. As for snaps, you are looking at almost double profit by using juju. But in answer to your question: do as many patches of watermelon as you can while still hitting all 5 patches in under 5 minutes.
  18. Errr, can we have some clarification as to what part of it was confusing?
  19. Howdy Kevin, welcome to the forums! We have a dedicated sub forum for your question, which I will link you to after I finish my herb run haha. Edit: Programming and Web Design --Good luck.
  20. I could see myself getting an afk 200m while doing school, especially while writing English papers.
  21. +1 I've been afking ivy a ton while writing my English papers. Back on topic, will be interesting to see how much of a difference the next batch of auras will have. If Dragon is correct, then we should see a pretty substantial increase in xp/hr.
  22. Agreed. I don't recall lending my name to that article signature either...................................... Eh? You are disloyal to Jagex? :P
  23. No, there are plenty of people (myself included) that use to be able to ran max RS without a sweat, and now lagging while running on min settings. You are not alone by any means. There was a Times article that touched on this today, actually.
  24. You might be able to do watermelons if you are on lunar and have trollheim tele unlocked; I don't think it is worth it though.
  25. That or work on becoming a mod. :)
