  1. On wireless in my dorm at college.. Will try to hop on a wired connection later. Edit: I've seen much higher in one of the classrooms. :o

  3. Hey, I'm moving this to a more appropriate forum. Good luck.
  4. Maxed skillers are impressive, since they don't have access to some of the faster training methods such as the short path on ZMI, and especially training slayer at Soul Wars. To a lesser extent, they can't make money with combat. Herb farming is not much of an option either, so there aren't many choices besides merching.
  5. O wow! That beats out quite a few lucky drops methinks.
  6. *Chuckles* The aura information was correct, I was just looking at it wrong. Anyways, Hedgehog says it works for her and I asked a few people on Skype to check it out, and they said it works as well. I have no idea why it isn't working for you.
  7. Congrats!! Edit: Unspam: :o
  8. Welcome to the forums! Pretty cool seeing how much the game has changed.
  9. I don't think many tasks take more than 1 hour unless you are not praying or potting. Ice Strykes and Dark Beasts are only tasks that should be more than 1 hour. As for profit, yes it can be profitable, but it's not that amazing really.
  10. As for how long 99 farm will take, this should give you an idea, as you can play around with how much you are willing to spend, and how long it will take.
  11. Brb, posting on your wall that you need to go to sleep and get a [bleep]in life, since it's almost 3am here, and so I know that it is late for you. But yeah, please shut up on facebook people.
  12. Grats on the 15k rc xp.. getting closer to slightly easier assists.
  13. Quick! Now is our chance to pass up Ambler. But yeah, that sucks man. What happened?
  14. Actually, I was commenting that it was interesting that they didn't stack as I had thought, not that I was an idiot :P. IIRC, you have an XP-Waste account, so you might wanna take a look at this. I really appreciate you pointing this out by the way.
  15. Yeah, most people use extremes except when they are bossing/brewing, since overloads aren't terribly cheap. Really depends on how rich you are and if you are willing to blow a bit to save some time while fighting.
  16. What are you looking at? Looks like it's working fine to me. Ah whoops, I actually meant greater greenfingers. And I am looking at the activation rate, which should be close to 5%. It's a good 50% off, which is substantial. No, that's just a calculation error. You've done the math as if the aura stacks multiplicatively with juju pots. They stack additively. Re-jigger the equation and it pops out the right number. Yes it pops out the right number (very very close to 5%), but all of the calculations that I have seen on greenfingers has said that it is multiplicative. Someone is even basing it off of their log. Very interesting....:-k If this is true (can't see how it is not anymore), then wow, a lot of people have misconceptions.
  17. What do you mean? It's been working fine for me. I'd definitely recommend Greenfingers if you're going to farm torstol. 3% is pretty relevant. This is what I'm referring to. Both are done with master greenfingers. What are you looking at? Looks like it's working fine to me. Ah whoops, I actually meant greater greenfingers. And I am looking at the activation rate, which should be close to 5%. It's a good 50% off, which is substantial.
  18. No you don't need them for overloads. 500 each of super antifire and recover special is a good starting point. As for extremes, 1k of each is a good idea. If you need more experience, strength and attack are best since you'll most likely use those more often than the other 3. You should plan on making at least 1k overloads. As for super prayers.. meh, not really worth the pain it is to grind the bones.
  19. Untradeables are those in addition to special recovers, super antifires, super prayers (very niche uses), and overloads. And I mean that you could get 99 right now on sara brews for pretty cheap. But then you wouldn't have any extremes, and so would have to go beyond lvl 99. Yes, this is an extreme example, but it should help you understand it better.
  20. Once you hit the level to start making untradeables, you should make only that unless you are very certain that you won't be doing much combat. Yes, they are very expensive, but you don't want to be running out of overloads when you are 99 herb, because then you have to pay the fortune then and get extra xp which is arguably useless unless you are competing for ranks/xp.
  21. I doubt. There should be a mixture of hard bosses and easy bosses. Bandos is by no means an easy boss for a low level, although it sure has become much easier.
  22. Polypore staff is for magic.. It has spells built into it, if you will (you charge it up beforehand with runes and spores, then you can cast 3k spells, before you need to re-charge).
  23. [item=8010] You'll find this useful. It should be noted that Celestial Surge Box, while the lowest mage boosting shield, is sometimes better because of the critical hit.
  24. No, but that is what makes it fun! I suggest that you plant all of the best trees you can right now, and check-health them as soon as BXP starts.
