  1. Welcome to TIF. And yes, the RSOF has been going to pot for long enough. lol enjoy this great thread then
  2. Shameless self plug just make a copy of it, and change the necessary green cells (the calculations assume scroll of life.. still working on it a lot) Edit: added in option that allows for players without juju potions
  3. Fletching during downtime at Livid Farm works very well.
  4. 3 years after barrows becomes obsolete they finally add that, wow lol. I don't know why people are throwing the word obsolete around. Only a small percentage of players can afford Nex armours and Barrows armour is still widely used by mid to high level players. Obsolescent is the word you are looking for. A few of the Barrows armor is far from being obsolete at any rate. I wonder if Jagex goof'd the visage rate from Barrows.. it sure seems fairly common so far.
  5. AHK website
  6. ^ Ahrim's staff looks pretty cool. Was tired of that machine gun noise. Was hoping for some "In other News" that would be more useful than the actual update....
  7. by making enough extremes/spec restores/super antifires so that you won't run out anytime soon Once you hit the level to make untradeable pots, there isn't really any reason to not make them unless you plan on never doing any combat. Edit: 1k of each extreme is usually a good starting amount.
  8. Don't need 80 slayer to chop/burn the roots. Anyways, I'm all for Jagex making the quest cape more prestigious. Firemaking is useless yes, but at least it's one of the fastest, cheap 99s. Mercifull put it nicely.
  9. If you do not recognize this player, then you have obviously never been to the rsof.. Welcome to TIF  I look forward to any threads you might create. :P
  10. Yeah, yews (not paying the farmer) are very close in gp/xp to maples. I used maples since you'll profit 1m instead of losing 4.5m at the expense of it taking about 5 days longer. Obviously, you'll profit the 1m and then some if you continue farming snapdragons solely for the remaining 5 days. Eh, depends on how he values his time. He asked for best/most efficient then stated he would like to make some money if possible...
  11. Hunter was my last.. should get prayer on Saturday.
  12. You can get it in ~20 days and profit ~5m if you do 4x snapdragon runs a day and plant calquat +2x maple tree runs a day. If you do another snap run, you can get it 8 days faster by adding a papaya tree run (including jadinko patch).. profits of about ~3m. Note that these calculations are assuming you have juju, which I assume you do not. It's much less profit (about half) without juju and so: #1 will be only 1m profit and #2 will lose 1m. If you plan on getting a high farm level, it is a worthwhile investment as you can see.

Huh, so that is why I never heard of them until I pulled up the calculator. Oak larders it is then for basically the same price!
  14. Are you more interested in charms, effigies, or ranged xp? Hand cannon would be a terrible choice at 77 FM... It is most definitely not negligible. Have you considered cannoning - dwarven cannon, not HC - cave crawlers?
  15. Just my two cents, but you would have to value your farming experience at ridiculously high amounts to have that be a determining factor. Most people primarily do herbs for profit, since the xp you get is so little per pick. You're lucky to even hit 5k exp/patch. 4.9k/herb to a 7k seed for ranarrs 6.8k/herb to a 31k seed for snapdragons Roughly, snapdragons are 2600 more xp and 21k less profit per run.
  16. I farmed 2.3k snapdragon seeds from 97-99 farm and at today's prices, they average 170k profit/run. Juju + scroll of life, but no remote farm.

If money is not a problem then do mahogany tables. Teak larders should cost you just about 5m, not including butler costs.
  18. Well done! =D> Now, update your signature.
  19. It is the month of twos it seems: 2x quests, 2x reworks, 2x drops, and 2x xp.
  20. Speak for yourself, every time I try to assist 93 rc I have to wait like 10 minutes >.< I remember those days.. its amazing how big a difference 95 to 97 makes. Quite often, it took me 10 minutes at 93/95. It usually takes under a minute now. Though it really depends on the time of day.. sometimes it still takes me 10 minutes to give 97.
  21. an interesting way of looking at it... might as well go for 76 agil since you most likely are not making very good money with farming
  22. If only every assist was this easy.... took under 10 seconds from when I first typed "offer 97 rc"
  23. as the others have said, just work on all the quests.. building your stats as required also, start farming runs in between quests as it is some of the best money/hr when you reach the higher levels
  24. I would just save the points until something really worthwhile comes out. Most of the other auras are just mildly useful. Would suck if a higher JoAT comes out and you have to wait a few months to purchase it.
  25. mostly for remapping until I become more familiar with it haven't sat at my desk for 'Scaping in probably 2 months... I'm not tempted to chat, so faster xp  A good mouse also helps a lot.
