  1. That was posted on 02-Nov-2010 11:11:47. Hmm... 16-17-618-61857586 last post.
  2. In the Ritual of the Mahjarrat quest of course. If Bilrach was the boss of the final floor, ROTM would have to require level 119 dungeoneering, which is not going to happen.
  3. Somehow I doubt reinstalling Java would fix this, since "The crash happened outside the Java Virtual Machine in native code.". Go to the downloads section of runescape and download&install the client. At least on my computer, it won't load mshtml.dll.

A strange thing: at 1:50 of the third cutscene, Grayzag says "I have detested you for many years". It has been year 169 of Fifth Age since the game was released, so every quest has happened during a single year. Is Grayzag a time traveller from the future or did Jagex make a mistake? 5. Apparently IE9 won't support WebGL. That's a big flaw.
  6. Remember Agrith-Naar, who actually got more powerful when he was banished. Good point, Iban now has godly powers right? The same as Zamorak, godly powers but not natural godly powers. Iban was nothing though, just destroy a doll that had elements of himself and hes gone, at best he would be a lich not a god And if they planned on using him wouldnt they have already used him to accomplish their goals? If Iban was a lich it would mean that he has an object (phylactery) which contains his soul, and as long as the object is intact, he cannot be killed (killing his body wouldn't really kill him). That could be possible. I think the Mahjarrat are liches. Iban is a wannabe Mahjarrat, so he could have imitated them. The diamonds of Azzanadra could be phylacteries, and the "enemies put his soul to the diamonds" story is just a cover story. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Koschei
  7. I'm not talking about applets, but applications. Applets run in a browser, applications don't.
  8. In the Regicide quest it's revealed that the Clan Iorwerth of the elves and King Lathas are trying to summon a character called Dark Lord. For a long time many players have suspected that the Dark Lord is Zamorak. However, now it seems that it's going to be Bilrach who will summon Zamorak. Another suspect has been Zaros, who is going to be revived and summoned by Azzanadra. Personally I think there has never been proof that the Dark Lord is Zamorak. The evidence is that Arianwyn says that if a portal to Zamorak's world is opened, we will all die and that the Tyras guardsmen talk about Zamorak's fury. Opening a portal to Zamorak's world doesn't necessarily mean it's Zamorak who is going to be summoned. It could be anyone from Zamorak's world (Freneskae or some other world where Zamorak has been). Zamorak's fury can be interpreted as an idiom, like "all hell breaks loose".
  9. Games without cheating do not exist. What about dynamic IPs? You'd have to block the whole ISP. Agreed. There is no RS rule that states that you must respond to other people's chat. Jagex has their automatical bot detection system, so there's really no need to even have the macroing report option. $5 says this guy bots. Nice logical fallacy.
  10. Jagex has made a browser toolbar for RS, available at the downloads section of runescape.com. Why not make a stand-alone (non-browser) Java application instead of a toolbar that works only on certain browsers? A Java application would run on any system that can run RS, and you wouldn't even need to have a compatible browser open (good for Jagex launcher users).
  11. Firefox 4 beta has a built-in bookmarks syncer.
  12. They should have placed the FPS & other tech info a little bit lower. The experience counter covers the FPS counter and the killcounts mix with the other info.
  13. He uses the official client, which has a self-contained Java runtime environment (OpennJDK).

    Bonus exp weekend

Jagex seems to be desperate to get more members.
  15. We currently have the Stone of Jas and the Staff of Armadyl in the game. That's only two. Three is the magical number, so I think the third god artifact is going to be revealed soon. Prepare for Second God Wars / Ragnarök / The End of Things.
  16. I'm pretty sure Jagex has said that player's decisions won't make more difference than minor dialog changes, because it would be too difficult to design sequels for multi-pathed quests. That's why Lucien gets the Staff of Armadyl and Hazeel is resurrected regardless of player's choice.
  17. Where's the next bush with tracks after the rune shop? Every possible bush reveals nothing of any interest.
  18. There is no rule in RS that says "you must respond to public chat". Therefore, reporting for not responding to public chat is a false report, which is a bannable offense.
  19. They come probably from Freneskae, like the Mahjarrat. Dragon items were created by the Dragonkin, and dragon items come from Freneskae.
  20. 1. they are not the same, they could be released on separate dates 2. im 100% sure within the light wasn't me3 3. when i wouldnt know, but its been said in quite a few Q&A's ME3 is just a codename for a sequel to ME2. It was renamed to "Within the Light". The next elf quest is probably getting a unique name too. Remember that ME1 and 2 were basically one quest split into two quests.
  21. If the Dark Lord of the elves is Zamorak as it's commonly suspected, the elven series is already a branch of the Mahjarrat series. Also, the Dark Bow can shoot dragon arrows, so it was likely created by the Dragonkin and it hints that the world that Arianwyn calls "Zamorak's world" and where Iorwerth is trying to open a portal to is Freneskae, the home world of the Mahjarrat, Dragon items and also likely the Dragonkin. Freneskae is a "deathly" place according to a Postbag from the Hedge post. Was the death altar built over a portal to Freneskae? In Blood Runs Deep (a Fremennik/Lunar/Miscellania quest) it was told that there will be "The End of Things". Seems to be an obvious reference to Ragnarök. Second war of gods? Frostenhorn = Gjallarhorn? Lucien = Loki (the god who starts Ragnarök)? Freneskae = Helheim, the Underworld? Koschei the Deathless is suspected to be Kharshai the Mahjarrat. Koschei the Deathless is a lich character in Russian mythology. Isn't the Sophanem/Menaphos series same as the series with Amascut and Icthlarin? Icthlarin brought the Mahjarrat to Gielinor.
