The week after a holiday event is always a no-update week.

Especially questers have had lack of updates. The last quest which continued older storylines (Fremennik series - Blood Runs Deep) was released during December 2009. The last high level quest (Nomad's requiem) was released during January 2010, but it didn't continue any older series. The amount of story in Nomad's requiem was very low considering that it's a grandmaster quest.

1. A game without cheating does not exist. Usually, adding more and more anti-cheat features has negative effects only on honest players, and cheaters just have a competition for being the first one to crack the new system. 2. There is no rule in RuneScape that states that you must use the chat feature. Jagex even provides the ability to turn chat off and the ignore list. Please stop accusing people of macroing just because they don't respond to you. 3. It's not player's job to be a macro police. Jagex has their anti-cheat team and software for a reason.

Jagex could add prayer ability increasing potions and reducing spells if they separated points and levels. E.g. -Your prayer level is 91 and you drink a prayer ability potion to use soul split temporarily. -Your prayer level is 95 and you're hit with a spell that reduces prayer level. You can't use turmoil anymore until it has restored or you drink a restore potion.

Time is money.

Are those who play two or three months, quit and never become high level really the majority?

Do the other Mahjarrat related words mean anything in Arabic? Here's some features I'd like to see in RuneScape: Multicore CPU support At the moment RS can use only one processor core. Because of this, even newer computers have low framerate in crowded places such as the Grand Exchange. Almost every new computer has at least two cores. I have 4 core processor and RS can use only 25% of its power. Anisotropic filtering option for HD Anisotropic filtering makes textures look better. Without AF the textures look blurry. It's possible to force anisotropic filtering from the graphics card control panel, but it would be better if it could be enabled from the game rather than being forced for every application with hardware rendered graphics. A demonstration of forced AF in RS: No AF: 16x AF - no more blurry textures: Higher than 4x anti-aliasing for HD I don't see any reason why Jagex limits anti-aliasing to 4x. My graphics card has 8x for example. This can be forced with graphics card control panel too.

If I put "mahjarrati" or "mahjarrat" to Google I only get RuneScape specific results. Is there any confirmation of mahjarrat(i) being an Arabic word? The Mahjarrat are probably based on Dungeons&Dragons "lich" archetype (usually skeletal looking dark mages who have moved their souls to objects), but this is purely speculation. The lich archetype is based on the Russian myth of Koschei the Deathless (who had his soul in a needle) and other similar myths. Interestingly, it has been speculated that the Koschei of RuneScape Fremennik quests is really Kharshai the Mahjarrat. If that's the "downloadable RS" they talked about in the QA, I'm disappointed. It's still the same old Internet Explorer based browser. IE doesn't even support the resizable mode of RS, so why does Jagex make it IE based?. Java is not restricted to browser applets. It can be used to make stand alone applications (doubleclickable *.jar files) too. There is no need to switch completely to C++ to make non-browser RS. It's also possible to make a custom *[Caution: Executable File] launcher (with C++ for example) for Java applications, if the default Java launcher (javaw[Caution: Executable File]) isn't enough.

If we have to wait another month for the next quest I'm annoyed. They should make two quests in a month if the other one is a novice quest.

Dahmaroc sounds like a Mahjarrat name.

Does RuneScape have a 1920x1080 / 1080p / "Full HD" resolution option for full screen mode if your display supports it?

Whether the music of RS is good or not is not the topic of this thread.

You can only choose 12 tracks to the playlist. I have more than 12 tracks I'd like to listen to. If Jagex is worried about hard disk space, they could simply save the playlist on our computer (to the Jagex Cache folder with accountname_playlist as a filename for example). This would of course make the playlist not work if you changed computer, but we could have infinite playlists without wasting Jagex's precious hard disk space.

In the previous Content QA Jagex said that Prifddinas, Menaphos and Acheron will come before Eastern Lands. In other words, Eastern Lands will not come in a long time.
