  1. The Lunar clan itself isn't dangerous, but the Stone of Jas was there.
  2. Were the words like "Mahjarrat" or "The North" ever mentioned in RSC?
  3. Iban is a follower of Zamorak anyways - if they were going to summon Zamorak, Iban would be their ally There is also no proof that the mourners are doing what they claim to Lathas, and Iban could even be not real at all - an illusion created by Glouphrie the Untrusted. We'll also have to remember the Edicts of Guthix. If a god enters Gielinor, Guthix will wake up and destroy the world. (By the way, I completed UGP when RS classic was the only RS)
  4. That would be Zamorak. Proof? There is evidence against him being Zamorak. In Underground Pass we kill the son of Zamorak, Iban. Why would the Mourners want the son their lord killed. (Zamorak confirmed that Iban was his son in the early god letters)
  5. Interpretation of the compass symbol: Postbag from the Hedge quotes Details: West: Priffdinas East: Castle Drakan North: Penguin Iceberg / Palingrad, Acheron "Motherland" (unreleased) South: Ape Atoll Center: Sea Slug area is the closest evil thing at the center Northwest: Lunar Isle - some Fremenniks (such as V------) found the Stone of Jas there and became the Lunar Clan Northeast: Castle ruins with Dragonkin symbol (Stone of Jas + compass rose) in the Spirit Realm Southeast: Sophanem - we saw the first Dragonkin cutscene there Southwest: Unreleased (possibly Arposandra) The corners of the big square seem to be already more Dragonkin/Stone of Jas related (except the unknown southwest point obviously) than the other points, which have quest series about fighting against evil forces. For example, the Mourners (west) claim to King Lathas that they are going to summon "the Dark Lord", who is unknown (edit: rumoured to be Zamorak). Since the Poison Waste is said to destroy more and more elven forest each day, there must be something that blocks the waste from just going to sea.
  6. If the law of supply and demand makes the price go below alch price, it should be allowed to go below the alch price. Otherwise, the result is the item becoming completely unsellable. And how do your prevent RWT then if you can sell drag med for 40K to someone who will alch them for 60K? It's earned profit then, and doesn't have anything to do with RWT. Usually supply and demand won't allow this to happen, as the demand would skyrocket until the price reaches the alch value.
  7. If the price is going to rise in the next update, the item is most likely unbuyable or almost unbuyable (you're getting the items very slowly) even at the highest price. ------> Plan failed. The "real price" (based on supply and demand) and GE limits are different things. If the real price equals GE limits, you are able to buy and sell the item. If the real price is lower than GE limits, you can't sell the item. If the real price is higher than GE limits, you can't buy the item. Especially updates and suspected future updates can move the real price (=supply and demand) faster than the GE limits can change (5% per day).
  8. If the law of supply and demand makes the price go below alch price, it should be allowed to go below the alch price. Otherwise, the result is the item becoming completely unsellable.
  9. Sailing is one big joke, you know that right? As for a prayer update; I don't really think we need one. Prayer is good the way it is now. Well, we still don't have prayers that increase the max damage of magic.
  10. RWT. Undoing all the hard work Jagex has put in to stop RWT with such an update? [] Because you could so easily put a Party hat in GE for 1gp and have nobody but your customer get it? Oh no, wait, you couldn't. Without the cap, you could put an item that nobody trades for 500mil and the other RWTer would buy it. Why people are always assming you can only RWT with phats and rares? +1 That was just what I was going to reply. -1111111111111111111111111111 The GE system already blocks items with too small amount of available offers, which is why you sometimes see GE as "broken". You're buying (item). You see someone saying "selling (item)". Yet, your offer doesn't complete. That's because you are the only ones trading that item. If real world trading with items that nobody trades was possible, the current 5% limit would be more than enough for doing it. Instead, the price limit system creates false prices, which makes RWT possible. If an item is worth 1m at GE and the true value is 50 millions...
  11. Lauf is eye. The Stone of Jas is also known as the Fist of Guthix and the Eye of Saradomin. Laufata could mean the Stone of Jas.
  12. The 5% limits in GE are completely unnecessary, as: 1. Anonymity. There is no way to choose the seller or buyer. 2. Auto balancing. You must have noticed that you sometimes get money back if you have offered too much. 3. The system blocks trading if there is too small amount of offers available. Sometimes you might see other players saying "selling item x on ge" even though your buying offer of item x is not completing. It's not possible to RWT in GE even if the limits were removed. The current 5% limit is more than enough for RWTing, if there was no other way of preventing RWT. For price manipulation, the Soviet-like price limitation is like killing the patient to cure the disease.
  13. I think RS would greatly benefit from the added ability of things to stun. Would help the rangers and magers mostly, but does Melee honestly need anything more? -edit_ Because it would only cost 45k worth of runes to cast enough spells to reduce their attack to 0. You mean like the d spear spec except for rangers/mages? btw... shadow barrage's effect only lowers to 15% their max lvl, it doesn't stack on itself :\ the ahrims set effect stacks, however :) If you use ahrims, you can't autocast ancients -> click spell, click target continuously -> carpal tunnel syndrome -> not worth it. Normal spells are too weak and you can't even use god spells with ahrims, as you need a god staff.
  14. Red Axe is already cooperating with evil gnomes (Arposandra) and penguins. Daeyalt ore (Sanguinesti mine) goes to a big underground city - Arposandra? Elven crystal items are used in the Glouphrie quests and Arposandra is located somewhere in the elven areas, so it's obvious that the Elf and Glouphrie series are going to combine. Glough is working with the monkeys of Ape Atoll. The name Glough is rather similar to Glouphrie. Son of Glouphrie, perhaps. The image version of the RS map is a little bit outdated, it doesn't have the new parts of the penguin iceberg and the small deserted island where Chuck the polar bear was for example.
  15. Skillcapes are non-benefit items, so it wouldn't hurt anyone if they were given to F2P. Items with good benefits, like whip, godswords, are a different thing.
  16. Probably far more I remember that from long before I was able to pickpocket them According to some player in RSOF it was added with the latest system update. Quick find code 16-17-389-59244743
  17. What if it has to do with Elves and Mahjarrat I mean with the things the mourners are doing something is bound to come up. I think that's a very good possibility  The elves claimed to Lathas that they are going to summon the "Dark Lord". I think that they aren't telling everything to Lathas and are going to summon the Dragonkins instead.
  18. Primary skills can be power trained. Fill the inventory and drop. It's faster than gathering items for secondary skills. If the market was removed, primary skills would become slower too.
  19. I don't know but I have been told that this dialog was added recently to the game. Can anybody confirm this? A rebel elf has friends in the enemy area? Spies?
  20. There is a system that prevents trades from occurring if there is only few offers available. Otherwise the 5% limit would be more than enough to RWT. If there was someone offering 2 millions for boots, he would get them for the real price and have the excess money refunded. The seller of the boots (who wanted 2 millions) would get nothing at all. RWTing attempt failed. It is not possible to choose the seller or buyer by price. Boots are a relatively common drop from monsters, so there is most likely thousands of them in GE. The price limits are completely unnecessary.
  21. You should also add other creatures to it, like elves (W), Arposandran gnomes(W), penguins(N) and Ape Atoll(S) monkeys. It makes sense, as the right half of the dragonkin symbol is compass star and those creatures are from west, north and south (vampyres are from east).
  22. Buy-skilling is the way MMORPGs are meant to be played. MMORPG stands for massively multiplayer online role-playing game, not single player.
  23. I guess you believe every propaganda from Jagex. The 5% range is price setting. Also, there is hardcoded floors and caps. If players set the prices, there would be no limits at all. Since there is complete anonymity of traders in GE, the limits are totally unnecessary. Real world trading requires direct player-to-player trading. Even if there was no limits in GE, it would not be possible to e.g. sell a party hat for 1 gp to a gold buyer. The seller would get the correct amount of gold and the buyer would get nothing. You might have noticed that if you sell an item for min price, you sometimes receive more money. That's because the system always picks the best available offer. The limits do not prevent players from losing too much money from price crashes, as the items will simply become unsellable until they reach the new equilibirium prices (or unbuyable in the case of skyrocketing).
  24. Or the mahjarrat and dragonkin both originate from Freneskae.
