Light creatures in the Tears of Guthix cave have similar sound. Juna talks about them building crystal cities if you ask a story. So, I think Light Creature is Seren's species (like Zamorak is a Mahjarrat).

Actually, Jagex classified it as "master", which refers to the requirements for starting it, not to the difficulty. Jagex doesn't classify quests by difficulty. Difficulty is one of the sorting options in the in-game quest list, but it's simply false information. Just compare the difficulty of Underground Pass (experienced) and Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf (master). -
I used yellow. Obviously, it won't work now, since Jagex hasn't uploaded Prifddinas to the game yet.
-
Currently, you can't make the light go to the tunnel. Maybe when the next quest is released. Wasn't yellow the only color not used in the puzzle? Maybe that's the colour that will rebuild Prifddinas.
-
I tried to use the uncharged chime/saw seed from Glouphrie quests on the beams of every colour, but nothing happened. Has anyone tried to use the shield/bow crystal?

Within the Light shouldn't even have existed

Or maybe Thorgel is Glouphrie the Untrusted under illusion spell? The creator said that the quest reminds about a certain city not on the map. Prifddinas is on the map, so is Lletya. Arposandra is a Tirannwnian city that is not on the map currently. -

Or, maybe Sliske is (in) Thorgel's shadow, and also (in) the shadow of certain other people. It would fit to the words of Azzanadra: "Sliske's actions can be seen in world's smallest details". Are you sure that this series will end as a separate series? If the so called Dark Lord is Zamorak (Mahjarrat), it's likely going towards While Guthix Sleeps part 2. Also, the name "While Guthix Sleeps" hints at Second God Wars (When Guthix Wakes Up). -

Usually, new skills are unlocked with novice quests, not master. -

Thorgel is Sliske the Mahjarrat, who delves the shadows? -

Same with Roving Elves. It clearly continues Waterfall rather than Regicide. It's an elven quest, but not plague. -
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3LMmVeYFY4o While doing the newest elven quest (Within the Light) I noticed that the light beams also contain beams of directed sound. Actually, I noticed it while doing MEP2 long ago, but I didn't think it was anything significant. Different light colours have different sound frequency. Compare it to the sound in the :wall: cutscene. It's clearly crystal chanting sound. In the quest it was revealed that Prifddinas was reverted to crystal seed form. My theory is that the Temple of Light contains the frequencies for reverting and rebuilding the city. For people who haven't done the Glouphrie quests, crystal items are reverted by overcharging it with the same sound as used to create the item. This may be the hidden part of the puzzle which Mod Chris L mentioned. QFC 15-16-402-59724757, page 22.

Rabid Jack or whatever his name from the Pirate Storyline? :P Anyway, I really enjoyed that quest, great for the people who did the previous quests years ago who need a refresh on what has happened. (Like myself. :P) Wasn't too hard, puzzle was nice, but OMG I hated the crystal spikes part after the Light puzzle, had to teleport with 2 HP barely getting the target, lol. I was glad to hear it was a mistake on it being a Grandmaster, would've been very disappointed if it really was a Grandmaster. :P I'm excited for the next quest, I'm happy to wait, just to know the excellent looking city that will be the Crystal City. (Don't even ask me to spell it, lol.) On who the Dark Lord is, it would be very predictable if it turned out to be ZamZam. :P Would be still very-very interesting and a great turn on how story-lines will start to overlap each other. Would be very cool if it was a Elven Majharrant. Will it turn out to be Sislike = Baxtorian who is really evil? XD Only time will tell. :o! Overall, pleased and excited. :P The Mahjarrat are the RuneScape correspondent of Voldemort (lich-like characters). They both probably come from Dungeons & Dragons and/or the Russian legend of Koschei the Deathless. Though, it's not proven that the Mahjarrat have moved their souls to external objects, which is the key definition of a lich. What if the Dark Lord is Rick "Roll" Astley? By the way, the :wall: :wall: cutscene was funny.

Actually, the developer of the series was replaced. Dylan C was the guy who converted the RSC elven quests (Plague City, Waterfall, Biohazard, Undeground Pass), to RS2 and created the newer quests up to MEP2. And yes, we currently have a problem of too many quest series. Now Jagex has started developing sequels for abandoned series, but it only treats the symptoms without curing the main problem. They need to merge some of the series (e.g. Plague+Arposandra+Monkey Madness). -
With that logic, any place with high level monsters is a suitable place for the death ruins. Actually, the soul altar/ruins would fit to the elven series better than death, since Seren is the divine aspect of Anima Mundi (latin for "soul of world"). Also, if the Dark Lord was Zamorak, Iban would be an ally of Lathas and the evil elves. Since they wanted us to banish Iban, it pretty much rules out Zamorak as the Dark Lord, unless Iban is really a good character who was made look like evil with Glouphrie's illusion spells. Another possibility that wouldn't rule Zamorak out as the Dark Lord would be that Iban was actually imprisoned in the Pass and we freed him, rather than killing/banishing him. Yeah, without any kind of proof. Innocent until proven guilty. How does my logic say any high level monster is suitede to detah? The logic is DARK beasts. Dark is same word pool as death. Shadows again relate to the idea of death. Underground pass had spiders and soulless both link to death Mourners and plague DEATH As for him being Zamorak it is fact. The logic of Iban is Iban was MAD man who THOUGHT he was Zamorak son (with no proof) he was blocking the underground pass AKA an easy hidden route between west ardy and the elf lands. Lathas and the Elves need a path, Iban is blocking said path. Iban is a mad guy who has public conotations to Zamorak, easy to get someone to kill him and open said path Do you have a JMod quote? Also, shadows...Sliske the Mahjarrat who delves the shadows. If the dark lord is Zamorak the Mahjarrat god, it makes sense that a Zarosian Mahjarrat would want to prevent summoning his enemy. The elements of the Mahjarrat are: Smoke: fire+air Shadow: death? (when a Mahjarrat "dies", he goes to the Shadow Realm rather than actually dying) Blood Ice: If the soul ruins are in The North ritual area, soul could be associated with ice (but souls aren't used in ice spells). The Mourners wanted to use the power from the death altar to summon the Dark Lord, so that's a little bit of evidence for the Dark Lord being Zamorak (or some other Mahjarrat).

Skillcapes are today's replacement of tradable holiday items.
-
We still don't know who the Dark Lord is. Some of the characters on the good side talk about "Zamorak's realm" and "Zamorak's fury" but give us no proof of why they suspect Zamorak. Also, why are the death ruins in that place? Usually the ruins are in the place that is related to the element of the altar/ruins. Blood below the castle of the vampyre lord Drakan, chaos in the Wilderness, water in the Lumbridge swamp et cetera.

The Current Poll and the pking IS rs Myth
Karvinen replied to Sy_Accursed's topic in General Discussion
In RuneScape there is direct PKing and indirect PKing. Indirect PKing is anything non-PVP: gathering items that are sold to PKers. Skills like Agility help in gathering the PKing stuff by increasing run energy restore rate and letting you use shortcuts. Examples: You fish and cook food and sell it to a PKer. You fish and cook food and sell it to a God Wars boss killer, who sells the hilt drop to a PKer. You fish and cook food and sell it to a slayer, who sells the whip he gets to a God Wars boss killer, who sells the hilt drop to a PKer. Everything non-PVP you do goes ultimately for PVP purposes. There is a lot of non-PVP tasks to do, so the actual PKers look like the minority. -

A music related update and re-release of the tutorial quest (Learning the Ropes). Then, next week's (Jagex's 10th anniversary) update will be quest number 159: "Mourning's ends part 3" or maybe some other major update. Regicide was 59th and it was released at the 5th anniversary. -

This will probably be the rock star / "All in one place!" update hinted by the Chaos Elemental.
