Tool Belt
To give a more straight forward answer: Yes they are safe, items on your toolbelt can never be removed from it and thus can never be lost.

A myriad grab bag of questions.
1) Cannons suck in general 2) Given frost dragons damage reflecting orbs move cannoning would just kill you

Aren't those brutal green dragon and frost dragon heads? Looks like Steel, Mith and Frost to me; not seeing green at all. Kinda like when we had picks of Brimhaven makeover with it's eery green glow and what was obviously steel dragons and many fanned girled out and assumed addy dragons.

The high level rewards to come back for are always nice and this scalable combat thing might be good as it'll enrich the combat experience for us high levels. The 2 outfits look AWESOME too.

Behind The Scenes - August 2013
Given the whole 'npcs don't know yet' thing it'd be kind cool (though I doubt it will be the case) if we had no guidance on level requirements and simply when you try you'd either be unable to do it or manage it and like say once 100 people had discovered something it's level reqs would be unveiled in skill guide etc.

HP/Prayer/Run Energy and Special attack bar
Seeing how swiftkit is merely a frame that loads the game and not a rule breaking/illegal client that hacks in to the game code and extracts information being passed from the server I don't think it is possible to get figures for such bars other than a very basic DGS style screen capture when that window is open function.

It's so good of them to get their quarterly news letter out only ~1 month later than you'd expect; atleast this time it does give us some hintage to things we did not know already (unlike the first) 1) Daemonheim porttents that allow us to get past doors - if these are relatively easy to make it's gonna be a game changer in terms of speed runs/bonus rooms (eg may be worth grabbin energies on way past to have portents) 2) Daemonheim aura having use inside and outside the place.

^ Does it really count as discovery when we already know "Dramen" and the Freneskae Creator God exist? Misread yer last sentence. It could easily be an obvious god - the uncertainty in being allowed to tell us could stem from the fact we have not been given any sort of timescale of when to expect any gods to arrive; it would indeed be a reveal to know that more are coming soon.

I'd point our 'more gods are coming' bit does not at all guarantee brand new gods we've never seen. Given the current context of the game there are several gods known to be enroute who can be classed as 'coming.' Most notably Armadyl and Bandos need to arrive, Zaros and Seren whilst sort of semi-arrived and tied to quests could also fall in to this category as could Tumeken waking up and much of the as yet unseen Desert Pantheon (Scarabas, Het and Crondis are yet to make actual an appearance). Not mention the plethora of other gods we are aware of already such as Marimbo, Brassica Prime, Fremmenik Gods, Karamajan God and Tuska. He could simply be referencing that quite soon we will be seeing more of these guys actually make it to Gielinor rather than waiting for big quests or world events like Sara and Zammy did. The whole 'DarkScape' thing sounds much like the previous pk everywhere worlds possibly drawing on the concept of Scaperune so that the entire worlds are consider an alternate dimension that uses a much more sinister graphics set (eg could easily reskin water to lava and such)

A myriad grab bag of questions.
Tbf capes as a whole in runescape are an odd thing of 191 cape items listed by tip.it only a handful are useful: 1) Comp Cape, rules the roost 2) Max cape, all class with slightly worse crits than the individual 3) Tokhaar-Kal, best melee class cape 4) Ava's Alerter, best ranged cape 5) God Cape, best magic cape. 6) 51 Skill capes, basic all class def and some crit. 7) Ava's Accumulator, 2nd best ranged 8) Fire Cape, 2nd best melee 9) Obby cape, 3rd best melee 10) Ava's Attractor, 3rd best ranged There's a few theres with some stats, but nothing to right home about. God Cloaks (from vestments) and swars capes wth some def and prayer, legends and ardy capes with all class and some low crits and 3rd age druidic cloak is got some high def for a mage cape but no crits and that pretty much covers all capes with even the slightest hint of a use. And that is barely changed from pre-eoc when the only realy difference was prayer mattered enough to make swar useful and ardy was a pretty decent mage cape option.

^ God cape is pretty much the only decent magic cape available

Recommended quests?
I would recommend all of them. Ultimately some day pretty much every quest eventually leads to an unlock of something decent, they all offer reasonable experience rewards for their levels and they all offer something a bit different to do. Those who do only the necessary quests to get the big rewards (eg glacors or automatons etc) often come unstuck as there is a certain inevitability that quests will be a requirement for something big eventually. This means when something big does come they are stuck in the situation where they have 10+ quests to do to unlock it, conversely doing all quests on the assumption they are likely to lead to something big eventually you are only ever 1 quest away from the big rewards when they arrive.

^A tablet project being worked on by the runescape team is most likely the tablet/mobile device client? Have we informed the press? it just seems so unlikely; I mean wouldn't the runescape team, who just launched a new engine that can support tablets and hope to have tablet support done by the end of the year much more likely be working on anything but that for a 'tablet project'? [/sarcasm] Basically it's kinda a full gone conclusion a runescape employee working on a 'tablet project' is the tablet compatibility for rs3

Fail to install audio driver lenovo G550
1) How did 'accidentally' delete a driver? Those bad boys are generally buried pretty deep in system files. 2) When you say 'delete' do you mean deleted the files or uninstalled? If the first have you tried restoring them from the recycle bin? Or tried a tool like recuva to get them back? 3) Do they show up in the device manager when looking at audio devices? If so have you tried the update option to see if it'll fix itself? 4) If they are more program-esque drivers do they appear in add/remove program? If so have you tried to uninstall/repair option? 5) Did you system come prebuilt? If so it ought to have a driver disk or recover partition that can be used to make repairs. If all else failed it seems as though you have left over registry entries that are blocking the install, a tool like ccleaner might be able to remove them for you, if not you gotta do some serious googling and tracking through regedit to fix it.

Behind The Scenes - August 2013
The way they've set it up we are respecting Guthix's wish. His memories, along with much of his power, has merged in to the Anima Mundi. Divination requires us to collect this energy where it leaks out and return it to the Anima Mundi along with the memories - we are actively collecting up rogue memories of Guthix and hiding them away in the Anima Mundi so that others cannot find them and thus Guthix can be forgotten. Also I don't this US remembering him really breaks his wishes - he wants the simple mortals to forget him and forget all gods but we the player are not so simple. The fact he watched us and made us a Guardian and showed us his memories marks us out as something more, someone who is able to decide and act without a god and to think and choose for ourselves and we must remember all that Guthix told us and showed us to best use his power to realise his dream.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
And it's not even like giving us more control over the captains traits removes the randomisation factor. There's still randomness in rolling voyages to get (or remove if added) traits and there's randomness in the 'personal bonus' factor of stats and there's randomness in all the crew traits and personal bonuses.
-
11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
Yeah cause player control in a minigame where we control an entire port and control the giving of traits to them is a bad thing that must be avoided. Really the fact we even get to pick our crew and voyages is too much control it should just tell us what it decided to do and remove all tactics and planning from the equation.

11-Dec-2012 - Player-Owned Ports
After all these months I FINALLY got a 10k captain that beats my pre-existing captains in terms of preset traits and even he is a seafarer with a tactician trait. They reallllllllllly need to give us a means to remove traits from captains -.-

They aren't an item you just get the xp when the mission ends.

Behind The Scenes - August 2013
If you make a quest that grossly oversimplifies a controversial and heavily political (at the time) real-world problem with less subtlety than James Cameron's Avatar, in a way that features blatant emotional baiting rather than facts and doesn't even make sense in/actively contradicts your game's continuity, you probably shouldn't be surprised when it upsets your players. Even the ones that agree with the overall message. That is only true IF you assume it is a commentary of the real world issue, the quest itself within the game is pure and simple. The guys factory is making smog that has quite proveably melted the top of ice mountain. You solve this. And such an assumption has little basis seeing as nothing anywhere in the wiki, news post or quest itself remotely says it is commentating on real world events making reacting to it as such as ludicrous as the folks who got up in arms over 'Smoking Kills' have an agenda on the title alone. I agree with this so much, whats the problem? It's a quest about a very localised factory causing ice to melt where's the issue with that? And 'global warming is a myth' people annoy me no end - you are fighting against recycling, green energy and moving away from near exhausted fuel resources even if global warming was a myth what exactly is bad about reducing pollution, avoiding unnecessary landfill and break dependence on monopolised fossil fuels that are largely depleted already so are going to be subject to prices soaring within the next few decades. If all it takes to combat global warming is truly just recycling and 'green energy' (whatever that means), have you ever considered the other side of things? Why people are against it? Nope, you haven't, because Sy Accursed doesn't need to consider the whims of such a silly muggle-headed part of the populace. I'm really getting tired of the arrogance of this community. Seeing as the issue of global warming is not on-topic for this thread I quite predictably refrained from making a full and reasoned debate about the issues instead opting for a simplification that made my point that arguably all the policies global warming things try to enact are by and large good for us and the planet regardless of the reality or otherwise or global warming and therefore those who vehemently fight against all such policies due to it being a 'myth' bemuse me. I would suggest you check your own arrogance at assuming you are any better than me simply because I choose to not overly derail a thread in to a debate about global warming by instead making a passing comment that related to my runescape related point; especially seeing as what you are attacking me for (that the things I mentioned won't solve global warming) if not a claim I actually made in the slightest.
