  1. The gap has been growing by about 500k points per day, just because the relative gap is getting smaller doesn't mean the gap isn't growing. Which is why is specifically said the relative gap and made no statement what so ever about what the actual gap is doing overall.
  2. What? Drag an item from inventory over the game world and let go = drop.
  3. The relative gap between the two has been pretty consistently going down since day one since it's been stable-ish at ~10m and the scores just keep going up making the relative gap ever smaller.
  4. I doubt heroes will make killing that much harder, they just seem to combined the fighting abilities of normal units with the frankly laughable healing power of the medic units. Plus I think there's the fear, due to no clear explanation really being give, hat siege unit bombardment are not going to care if you are fighting or not and just punish everyone on the field. Besides this vote seems to be running for 2 weeks yet, in ~2-2.5k tears pure killing you can easily get ~300 frags do that for 2 weeks and you'll nearly be done for 6k frags. Heck even being lazy you need less than 100 frags a day to net 6k in the fully 10 weeks (85-86 a day covers it).
  5. The news post on the main rs webpage announcing RS3 launch date clearly stated Divination would be following "around a month later" eg in August. Add to that all the QAs where they said it'd be 'shortly after rs3' This weeks BTS video on friday being about divination. The next 'Above the Lore' podcast due in a week 1/2 being 'A-Z of Divination' It's pretty solidly confirmation it'll be August. Personally I suspect it may be early august: 2 weeks of Div BTS videos then launch just in time for the 'A-Z of div' podcast to be a spoiler filled post-launch thing. All of those would be cool but it won't be any of them. It has been confirmed to be artisan eg making produce this immediately rules out 'riding' as it'd be a tertiary skill like agility. Plus they have said a million times over it's not worth doing the world is far too small. Enchantment overlaps far too much with magic. Talking to high level summon familiar reveals they are basically dead spirits we summon back ergo summoning is necromancy by another name. Even without that there's insane overlap of necromancy ideas and what summoning does and what magic does. Plus we know the 2nd skill ties in to the lore of the 6th age and progress of the world which doesn't really fit in with any of those concepts.
  6. It's nowhere near 'hundreds' of hours to get. Body Fight Pits takes ~200-250 wins for first piece, 300 for all 3 which is like ~9 hours. Helm Cwars 50-80 for first, 10-15 more for all 3 ~36 hours Gloves FoG ~150 wins for first pair, ~200 wins for all 3. Assuming 50:50 boosting and a generous 1 minute a game ~6 hours Boots Pc usually talking 600 wins for all 3 which should only take ~10 hours Legs from swars you are talking ~40 hours All totaled you are in the ball park of 100 hours. It is a lot of time for a largely useless item, but completionist often like to get it and fashionscapers quite like the sets too and it is certainly not 'hundreds' of hours, ballpark of 100 all in all for all 3 sets in full with cwars and swars eating most of the time. HOWEVER arguably anyone with intent to get comp (t) at any point can write off the time spent in cwars for the armour anyway which takes you down to like 60-70 hours.
  7. The only silver lining of them being hard to get is: Cwars, swars and pc parts are all relatively easy to get as the games run Fight Pits will require a boosting partner but you and a friend can do it easily and it is one of the faster pieces to start turning up. FoG is the real pita but fogboosters fc usually manages to get up and running once or twice a week and you can get the gloves in 1 session with them if you are lucky.
  8. Because they aren't doing all that much stuff yet. The two new skills have been in production for at least a year and the neither, the gathering skill especially, is going to be as hard to make as things like farm dg or summ that are entirely new concepts. Gathering even with a few polished edges is essentially: Resource node with appropriate graphics > resource. Skill done. Artisan is essentially resources + proper tool/location > product job done. Equally Construction rework is the ONLY one slated for this year. We know they *want* to do agility, summoning, mining and smithing reworks but none of them are confirmed as in production (though they easily could be especially with a skill team like the div team being freed up soon)
  9. Dils are crush weak whilst armoured, water weak once opened
  10. The essence of fight kiln from my experience 1) Use weaknesses - Especially if you are using obsidian which makes tribriding super easy (change helm and weapon). I used polypore with ice mage, chaotic maul and ccbs. 2) If you are only going to single style or hybrid melee is the one to leave out as more are range or mage weak and/or easier with safe spots, just my opinion. Pros could probably do other ways but the weaknesses and safespot-ness favours range and mage for the less seasoned. 3) Learn where to stand for each wave to make loads of stuff safespottable. I did it post-eoc tribriding in obsidian with a mess up on 1 jad and 2 dils and I'm not even that good at pvm and it walked it to the point har-aken was more zzzzzz when will this end than a real challenege.
  11. Tbf it was kinda expected this week would be naff. 1) There's no more updates from July BTS to come and next week is July for sure. 2) Last weeks BTS vid didn't even attempt to talk about next weeks vid Two combined make for skip week or boring filler video. Main thing is a bit of divination info in next weeks video, though that does sort of imply first wee of august may be update free unless its like a fix mix that aint worth bts.
  12. I voted for both simply because it sounds as though they are gonna offer xp or a shop or something and I am yet to max both those skills. I'll be interested to see how later votes go if we run out of money eg will options be locked off? Will we have to pay the duke extra? etc. I mean he only has 160k, of the cheapest non-do nothing option is 20k each week that'd still need 200k, 400k if the more expensive 40k options go through and we don't even know if the prices will be stable or if later ones will cost more and be better rewards.
  13. They are a jmod clone drop, if you try to pick them up directly they will usually crumble to dust. Telegrab can get them thou. They only last 10mins in invent and 5mins when worn and as a short term jokey item I am gonna guess they cannot be keepsaked.
  14. ^Doesn't seem to work for importhtml and ge data ='[ Just causes n/a no data was extracted from the html error edit: I see from the xp-waste forum tht it had no hope of working for ge data. Really sucks that they seem to of blocked scraping; I mean wtf Jagex a HUGE part of the most useful Rs fan tools out there rely on scraping data from the GE you coulda atleast given us some sort of 'ge lite' like hiscores lite for the sake of scraping.
  15. I don't think the player base was Guthixian at all - a lot of people picked Guthix (when offered the S-Z-G choice) only because he's everyone's #2 choice, being neutral and such. Up until the lore about the artefacts, we didn't really know anything about Saradomin and Zamorak (or any gods) either, with all the lore up to then being part inconsistent and part retconned with TWW. Definitely I think it is ridiculous to say most were Guthixian, pure circumstantial evidence (since we lack any major study) would most likely of put Zaros, Zamorak or perhaps Bandos as top dog (of those who really considered themselves to be of a set god). Recent lore changes + the force to pick one drawing more in has certainly changed the landscape though. I'd be interested to see straight up numbers of how many members each faction has from circumstantial evidence once more Seren and Zaros (maybe sliske and arma too) seem to of faired the best which is interesting as they have the least douche moves attached of all the gods (other than perhaps Armadyl) I'm still wondering when/if we will get proper names for the artefacts. The Elder Kiln seems to be a legit name since the Tokhaar use it, Stone of Jas seems fairly since it seems to be the name the Stone has told people who touched it (if I recall the lunar lore correctly) and Osbourne let the Crown Archival slip in chats. Staff of Arma and Skargaroth's Sword don't have 'proper' names and neither do the Horn and 6 as yet entirely unknowns of course. I was looking for the poll from 2010 that proved my statistic and I finally found it: Here are the results (And for those of you who don't want to log in, here's an image of it) The playerbase is likely to have changed a bit in two or three years, but it still stands to show that Guthixians made up a majority for a good bit of time up until his death. Anyone that wanted Guthix dead would primarily have wanted such because of their position as a follower of a God that his edicts prevented the return of--meaning that Sliske certainly didn't win over anyone who would have wanted to join him in the first place. Not to say that he doesn't have any followers, but killing Guthix turned more people off of him than it brought to his side. I'd prefer using this poll http://www.tip.it/ru...with-in-the-god More of a biased selection, but a lot more recent The main site poll is hardly solid evidence anyways it's got about 30k votes of a player base well past 500k AND Guthix only won by a small margin AND it does not prove people are Guthixian - there is a distinct difference between being a Guthixian and saying Guthix is your favourite god in rs when asked. If the poll proves anything by voter turn out its that the majority of the rs community did not care at all about the gods.

  17. Importhtml for ge grabs is buggered too, I went fishing in the source code a bit and literally could not see anything wrong. It seems as if maybe they have some stupid block thou since the VALUE error means it IS finding the data it just can't grab it and that is what importhtml is showing.
  18. Best party of the AMAA for me was the all-but confirmation that con rework later this year includes the street/village concept mentioned a while back to do with clans/friends combining forces. I'm curious to see how it will be fully implemented imo to be truly awesome it kinda needs 3 core features to be true: 1) More skill related rooms available to player homes BUT you cannot build them all in one house (or atleast there is some sort of 'theme' bonus whereby if you only have rooms from a certain theme they get a boost) 2) Friends/clanmates on your street/village houses are open to you at all times\ 3) Extra plots between the houses where you can build 'community projects' (that cannot be built solo) and maintain them to have some shops or a chapel or a bank or w/e All 3 would actively encourage working together for actual benefit.
  19. Old news is old. Rs3 launch date news post told us it'd be 'about a month' after rs3.
  20. ^ Yeah those are the ones, there is no official chat.
  21. Zaros WAS a tier 2 god. In talk Mod Osbourne made it pretty clear losing his body and power to Zamorak has made Zaros weaker, at least Tier 3 which would equal Sara etc. On becoming god: Guthix got power from both Tuska and Skargaroth, then supplemented with the sword and stone, kind of implied he also handle the staff and horn too since he knew of them. Armadyl did not get godhood via the staff. The staff is confirmed to be on Gielinor when Guthix arrived and Arma arrived as a god. Bandos and Seren whilst we simply do not know here Mod Osbourne has made it pretty clear there is no such thing as inherently being a god and that it is a status obtained. The two means we know of are killing a god and spending a long time with an artefact (and with 12 of them kicking about and only 6 some what accounted for that's plenty of artefact) though he has heavily implied there may be other ways and raised questions about whether beings such as mahjratt or dragonkin that are immensely powerful could ascending by some other means. As for the Sliske thing I kinda suspect he gave the staff and power to the Dragonkin. We know they want to break free from the Stone and that Sliske had to offer them something to get the staff from them. Would be a logical trade in my eyes: He gets an item that can kill a god to help Zaros return whilst the Dragonkin get a mass of power that might just be enough to break free from the Stone.
  22. To my understanding: All will try to balance your stats over the 3 classes, which often mean it will lower the strongest and raise the lowest whilst doing little to the middle. Hybrid just gives stats to all 3 classes.
  23. As covered above really, but just to add a couple of bits more: There isn't really 'normal' armour. All armour is now Tank, Power, Hybrid or All As Sara covered power>tank in basically everything bar a few specific top end boss fights, the reason being the amount of defence and lp GWD armour is more than enough for most monsters, the extra garnered by using barrows etc. does not do enough to really alter how well you can survive or how fast kills or trips are/ Conversely the damage booster on power armours does have a notable impact on you DPS meaning faster kills, which in turn mean you take less damage. If it's not Nex, KK or Vorago (and even then only if you are going to be the tank) you should be using power armour over tank armour.
  24. Just as they both charge up for their super final attack Brassica Prime teles in and gets turned into cabbage mush.
  25. I do think in a Sara vs Zammy fight most of the 8 factions naturally align with Sara more than Zammy: Zaros - Zammy killed their god, obviously go for the side that isn't him Sliske - Technically a Zarosian so same as above applies Armadyl - In terms of lore and style has always been seen as the closest to Sara Bandos - Just likes war so no real preference Seren - Could argue that Zammy caused the godwars that caused her destruction so Sara would be an obvious choice or that Sara actually aims for prolonged peace long term which ought to appeal to the pacifisit part of Seren lore Godless - Could argue that Sara's long-term peace 1 god concept would appeal most to them opposed to Zammys general chaos, though this would only be a minor influence on siding. So arguably 4-6 of the 8 factions naturally align with Sara in this fight in terms of lore, whilst 1-3 lack huge swaying factors either way and only 1 is really strongly aligned with Zammy (Zammy faction itself) But I do agree a lot of people are looking at it as good vs evil
