  1. Its quite simple: 1) Whilst they CAN do it, it only functions when they are trying to find someone or when already near them. 2) Sudden fluctuations are automatically detected - such as Kharsi being restored, Azzandra being release etc. 3) All those successfully hidden had extra factors - Kharshi eradicated his memory, Bilrach was masked by the strange powers deep within daemonheim, Anthankos was being hidden by Enkhara. 4) Azzandra was never hidden - Zemourgoul's notes clearly state they know where he is and that he is very powerful so they haven't dared release him themselves but they must do soon whilst there are enough Zamorakians left to handle him. 5) They don't attack and kill each other for the sake of it, they hold each other in respect despite differences and avoid killing each other outside of the ritual as that would be of no advantage to any of them - 1 mahjaratt sacrifice needed per ritual to rejuvenate themselves and only 9-10 remain (subject to discovery of Bilrach's fate, though Kharsi's comment on his neutrality and the others being balanced implies 9 (Azzandra Sliske, Anthankos and Wahisietiel vs Zemourgoul, Enkhara, Khazard and Hazeel with Kharsi as neutraal centre) 6) Jhallan's effort was not futile - it is implied other mahjaratt have survived successfully this way, plus with everyone gathered no single mahjarattian presence should be overly noticeable without particularly focus being paid. This is inferred as only Lucien, in his Stone of Jas fueled state, notices Jhallan.
  2. City was already explained in the last quest.
  3. "God against God" And his belt has Bandos' symbol... I think we can be reasonably certain that that's him, since he is fighting Saradomin... I know its a reasonably assumption given the context but since we have no prior confirmation of such an event occurring we cannot 100% say that it is Bandos - only that it is certainly someone on the Bandos team. I mean we only can say Guthix is Guthix because he is literally introduced as Guthix and shown doing the things Guthix is doing. Zamorak we only know because he is shown doing something we know happened. Saradomin we only know because we've seen him before. Nothing in the video or in other lore give us a 100% confirmation that the pig-faced guy is Bandos himself. But at the time that clip was shown it said God vs God, then went to two followers with the line follower vs follower or something along those lines, then the line about fighting there own masters and the clip of Zamorak stabbing Zaros. So based on this evidence it seems that we did indeed see Bandos. But nothing is for sure until we see it in-game. Which is why its a reasonable assumption - but since it did not say it was Bandos it is extremely easy for them to decide it is not him. Add in a race of pig-faced ork-type monsters boom suddenly not Bandos. Make a quest or lores tory that mentions Saradomin fighting a pig-faced champion of Bandos boom suddenly not Bandos.

  5. Seriously can't people read the thread? For like the 4th time in the past 3 pages NO. (Not to mention many confirmations much earlier on) Doubles are ONLY goods voyages. There are only single and trio stories.
  6. It doesn't really change anything - it was established ages ago Tumeken is a true proper bonafide God. Whilst Elinidiss (the wife) is a water/river spirit elevated to god status due to her husband. Itchalrin and Amascut are demi-god children of the couple. Het, Crondis, Ampeken, Scarabas are powerful beings sort of like demi-gods born from Tumeken's mind. We already know the others are unaffected - We saw Elinidiss in her shrine iirc and we've seen Itchalrin, Amascut and Ampeken face-to-face. Admittedly we never knew Tumeken was removed, but since we know he's a full blown God and this video gives more literal voice to the fact Guthix forcefully removed the gods and put up a shield to keep them out t makes sense he got booted out. It may also apply to Marimbo and Seren too - after all we do not know exactly how high their status is. The real implication will be if the Edicts are going to fall and Tumeken returns how will that impact Amascut's plans? She seems to of gained a lot by his absence - She perverted Het's power to get him blamed for the Sophanem Plagues, she's been playing around with Itchalrin's power a bit, she tricked the Scarabites and thus abused Scarbas' power, she literally dismantled Ampeken to remove her power. Some how I doubt daddy will be happy with her.
  7. It's hardly a Lord of the Rings trademark - it's the basic formula of pretty much any cinematic intro to any fantasy world ever created.
  8. Not the end of the thread, sorry. I certainly think that the entire code base of the skill needs to be changed. It seems like a lot of the skill was written poorly so that updates were hard to make, things ran a little slowly, or otherwise interfered with how the skill needed to operate. I dunno - I think for the time it was very well done; just code in that area has progressed by larger leaps and bounds than some other areas. I think a problematic feature of an overhaul is also to do with existing houses. I kinda feel like Jagex needs to make an entirely new PoH system starting from blank BUT it needs to be able to import costume room and menagerie from the old system at least. (Not direct import mind, it'd have to be equivalents like each furniture item imports across to its new equiv) AND old houses need to exist but with the added functionality of EVERYTHING in there can be removed whilst returning 100% resources.
  9. I think rather than attuning teleports we should be able to have a sort of 'artefact hall' where u can build various things into teleport objects. For example: An ornate birdbath type thing that u add 5 buckets of ectoplasm + ectophial too to make it teleport there. Or add 10 super compost + grand tree seed pod for tht tele Or water, red dye, blood tally + drakan medallion Portal frames that you fuse jewellery too so like 10 fer rings or 10 glories or 10 row or 10 duelling etc. Just a bit more variety to a rainbow of portals Also an 'armoury' would be nice - a place where you can store any items with combat stats plus it has say 10 armour-ment slots where you can build gear sets to quick equip; plus have like 3 or 4 dummies that can display outfits and various trophy things like legend cape, fire cape, lava cape pegs etc. A 'hall of commune' would be nice to; a room where by visiting NPCs and completing mini-quests you can obtain something off them which you can add to the upgradable equipment in the room that provides a sort of NPC contact facility, but add in more guys with more diversity. Like have the slayer masters and mini-game people and d&d folks but also include like the bow and seed elves, people you can reclaim items from, people used in a lot of quests (eg reldo), the people who give out free items from tasks etc. Think sort of like a holo-deck built and upgraded using like glass and orb of occulus and commorbs and such. Bob the cat would be nice addition too. Could also offer some high-level D&D upgrade facilities as well - for example make scrying pool a bit more useful and make it be able to show you penguin locations, make it so you can cast a tracker spell on to stars you spy to get the gold trail thing to them when they land that sort of thing. Would have to be high level con and other stats and require a cost from the D&D - eg 90 con and mage + 30 peng points for scrying pool.
  10. I literally have no idea what you are arguing now. Your first post was calling skills like fishing a novelty because you don't use them and instead buy the supplies in. Then I say they mostly have a definite purpose within the game, therefore aren't a 'novelty' to train for the sake of it. This response is some waffle about combat-oriented (that holds no relevance to my post) being wrong because there are skillers. And skills can't be 'unovelty' because they are used? And the only requirement to be useful is to be fun. And that skills cannot be better than each other so therefore cannot be novelty? I mean seriously? What are you even trying to say? It's a jumble of ideas that contradict your original point, have little relation to anything I said and even conflict with each other. It just doesn't read coherently.
  11. [hide=potential spoiler image][/hide] Just me, or does it look like these guys are wearing Obsidian Armour? [hide][/hide] Just had a look and it is a very similar silhouette to Nomad Don't think it is. The robes are wrong and he is dual wielding, rather than a spear. I thought he dual weild'd when he went berserk in the last phase? Also this is a war several centuries ago - he coulda got a new weapon As for the arrow at Avianse note I said we don't see many, not we dont see any.
  12. We did not see Armadyl or even many of his known followers. We also can't be certain we saw Bandos, though it does seem to be him. One possible Armadyl is the right hand silhouette at the end - the robes of the middle one look ancient ceremonial-esque suggesting Zaros and the left one is Tumeken (the desert god who married the water spirit Elinidis had the demi-god sprogs Amascut and Itchalarin and created Het, Crondis, Scarabas and Apkemen in a dream)
  13. Armadyl did NOT stab Zaros It is already heavily set in lore Zamorak STOLE the staff of Armadyl and stabbed Zaros with it which caused the power transfer that caused him to ascend to godhood once he used the Stone of Jas. This is why Lucien wanted that same staff in the Temple of Ikov > Rotm quest arc
  14. I just had another random thought in passing: What if rune essence (and by proxy) runes are elder artefacts? I mean its something we walk past/see everyday and it is rather odd: Magical stones that want to be something they are not and thus can be used to bind energies of the world to make magic easier - not to mention they are predominantly hidden away which is rather in-keeping with the Elder Kiln & Dramen Tree (assuming this guess is correct)
  15. So far we know what...2 elder god artifacts? makes me wonder if each god had an artifact or is each one had multiple. Also is it possible that some artifacts didn't belong to a specific god but were the combination of multiple elder gods like possibly the kiln was a combination of that mountain looking and the fire looking gods. We only know 1 for sure - The Stone of Jas Other than that all we have is a cryptic hint that there are several others in-game: Some we walk past everyday and 1 may be in our hands. isn't the elder kiln an elder god artifact? It is something the Elder Gods have left behind, but I dunno if it really counts as an artefact in so much as despite serving a function we can't do anything with it and we can't sort of take it out and about to use unusual powers. But then in equal measure I guess the Dramen tree falls into this category too - it only becomes an artefact when we carve a staff/tooth from it.
  16. Trying to fathom the 3 god silhouettes at the end screen: Left looks like Tumeken Given the similarity to Ancient robes I'd guess the middle is Zaros So then who is on the right? Seren? Armadyl? Whoever the elves 'Dark Lord' is?
  17. Another thing I noticed: When it shows Zammy using Stone of Jas and zooms out the guy with his back to cam in centre foreground has clothing and bald head that seem very much like Nomad.

  19. Presumably Bandos; has similar sort of build to his generals and the avatar of hime seen in the goblin quests. Edit: If you pause he deffo has Bandos symbol on his armour.
  20. *loregasm* 3 Elder gods? Zammy and Guthix visual! Explaination of tht big ass sword in Wildy More races confirmed to be brought by Guthix. The silhouettes at end must be as yet unseen gods. *loregasm**loregasm**loregasm* *dies* The trio of Elder Gods is a nice touch imo - It sort of rehashes the original long since retconed lore where sara, guth and zammy made the world working together. Idea dump: The left hand one I would assume is the Tokhaar's master as they are said to of made the land and the mountains, despite the middle one looking most tokhaar related. The one on the right looks kinda like the Dramen Tree spirit - could be possible the Elder god thing we have been holding that osbourne hinted at is the Dramen staff? Eg Dramen is an elder god. One on the left the green bits seem kinda like Guthix's Tears. Intriguing as well Gielinor was their last creation - does this mean something killed the Elder Gods? If Gielinor was shielded how did Guthix find it in the first place? Did Guthix killed the Elder Gods?
  21. Yup 6 Whaler 6 Botanist 6 Assassin 6 Missionary 6 Convict 6 Occultist 3 Quin 3 Hyu-Ti
  22. So only 888% voting rate increase needed then, even better! =P
  23. As nice as that medley is if this is the 'extra-cool surprise' Mod Mike mentioned I fear people will be raged again.
  24. That's not surprising considering that free access for everyone is the only benefit left at the 750k teir, and unless they extend the poll they're going to have a hard enough time reaching 500k votes. 11 hours to gain 60k votes for 500k. Frame of reference: In the past 11 hours it gained about 4.5k Only a 1300% increase in voting rate required!
