What storylines are you missing? I would actually like a full story recap =3. From mission to mission from each adventurer... Rs wiki has full spoilers mission to mission for all the single adventurer ones; it does however lack the trio stories (which I could like info on seeing as none of them seem to of been posted here in much depth either)

Attack of the logic puzzle...
Yep you got it! Took me a maybe 40 mins or so to invent the basis of it - but then took me another hour or so running through it without my own notes to find slight issues eg On one test I realised there was nothing to indicate Zach's seat number and at one point I realised on of the 'next to' cools was slightly wrong. For anyone curious this is solving spoilers: Of course there are other routes, it kinda depends which piece of info you make ur table from - but the info should still piece in in roughly the same order.

I'm not sure who wins the most derp award here: Me for not thinking of more than 1 silk per run. Ginger for his original post which was a bit derp, but I missed the quote and he edited it since to hide the derp Ezee for dat truly insane math.

Fair point more than 1 per run I totally did not think, but dat math is crazy. Why are you minusing the boat costs from the outlay? It'd be 27*3=81gp for silk 81+30+30 for 141gp total cost then 27*60=1620gp 1620-141=1479 profit.

You can buy silk in Al Kharid for 3gp each. Then spend 30gp to go to Karamja, then run to Brimhaven and spend 30gp to go to Ardy. Then sell your silk to the Ardy silk trader for 60gp each (offer 120gp each first). Dat math! Silk - 3gp Boat trip 1 - 30gp Boat trip 2 - 30gp Total cost - 63gp Ardy silk trader pays 60gp Your money maker is making -3gp per silk there... It isn't 30gp per silk... it's 30gp per trip, carrying up to 27 silks at a time. Dat math! Well from what muggi said pay 30gp at sarim to go to kara Pay 30gp at brim to go to Ardy That'd be 60gp

Attack of the logic puzzle...
I got bored and started doing some logic puzzles, then decided to try and make my own. Wanna see if anyone can manage to solve it: Eight guests shared a table at a wedding each wore a different colour, had a different meal, drink and brought a different gift. Seats were number left to right. Who forgot to bring a gift? 1) Harry wore a Green shirt 2) Anne brought a Clock 3) The person who gave Cash was next to the Water drinker 4) The person who drank Vodka wore Blue 5) Brock was wearing Black and in seat 3 6) Brock and his sister could not remember which gift was which but they know they bought the plates and silverware 7) The person wearing Blue was sat to the right of the Juice drinker 8) Daniel wore White 9) The Wine drinker was to the left of the Beer drinker 10) Brock's sister wore red and ate Salmon 11) The person who had Beef was to the left of the Salmon 12) Charlotte's brother ate a Burger 13) Charlotte drank Coke whilst her boyfriend drank Milkshake and wore Green 14) The person who brought the Gravy Boat had a Beef 15) The person left of the Clock giver drank Beer 16) The person in seat 5 had Pizza but did not drink Coke 17) Zach ate Cake 18) The person wearing orange had alcohol - the person in purple was their designated driver so only had water 19) A woman ate pizza 20) The person wearing Yellow was in the last seat 21) Eve had the Salad with a cup of Tea 22) The person who brought Silverware was next to someone drinking Beer 23) The person in seat 1 brought Towels and had the Chicken 24) The Tea drinker brought Giftcards 25) Michelle was in seat 2 and had Lobster 26) Zach was in seat 4 Edit: Slightly amended clue 12 and 13 just because I managed to fail to mention the 8th food being Burger Edit 2: All 6 routes of solving shown here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0AiiWNnszLqVydElTaTA3dVhmT0h1ZUdvbHJFWWhHQXc&output=html

Hiscores are an interesting picture thus far, only 175k accounts (roughly) that have even gained 1+ levels out of around 218k accounts of hiscores; so at this stage looking like 43k ballpark figure of people who have looked, not finished tut island and quit (whether permanently remains to be seen). Implies only around 50%* uptake of voters > game thus far. Though credit where credit is due current figures would give 80% retention rate of players who have tried it. *Using 326k and 175k actual figure is 53.6%

I need a new computer
That first one from guildwars 2 forums looks good and could easily be tweaked a bit. Judging by the other setups you dont need a mouse, keyboard or monitor. That knocks $406 off the price. It also has other over-cost items - ssd could be a hdd for lower cost, cheaper case. Also I note most of these builds lack an optical drive (disc) I'd suggest something like: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Foid By using AMD in place on Intel you can knock the price down a fair bit and this running roughly equal specs to the one from guildwars forum with an added optical drive. It relies on a hdd opposed to an ssd which will mean slower transfers but substantially lowers costs, also the GPU is a bit weaker, though same ballpark of specs but again it lowers cost. Might not run 100% max settings, but should get ya close. I'm not sure if you need OS or if you have one to install yourself so I included that, but not needing it knocks $90 off.

I thought it was 5 of each crew, 5 ox, 3-4 merchants and 1-2 jod that had been posted as the best choice.

I'm not putting it forward as fact I never said it was a fact; I'm simply putting forward the fact that I, like many others, are annoyed by the delay because the lack of explanation and the refusal to give answers on the matter heavily implies their 'hard work' and 'rush' to get 07scape out is the cause of the delay. And really? Complaining doesn't work? We have 2 big historic complained of events that surpassed all others: Free Trade Pre-eoc scape Guess what? We got both. As for genuine grievance? Highly anticipated quest, including all the week - before release teasers being put out (pics, ingame etc) being delayed with no explanation is a pretty valid grievance.

It is indeed possible but there are factors that point against this being the case: 1) Why gloss over it in the video without giving a reason other than 07scape? 2) Why ignore questions about it on twitter and fb? 3) Why lock and hide threads on the matter without giving a nice simple answer? I'll tell you what would be a good reason: Because there isn't a nice explanation that will please people because they DID break their promise and let 07scape effect main rs resulting in the delay.

All assumptions with no basis in fact other than speculation. If customers complain and a company realises there's benefits to be had by listening to their customers complaints, that = bad? Thank god you don't work for Jagex. Again I DID NOT SAY IT WAS BAD. I do not where you are getting this idea I am saying listening to complaints is bad from I am saying simply put Jagex DOES listen as proven by 07scape hence complaining is a GOOD way to go in annoyance of the quest delay. I simply said we have proven it works therefore it is the perfect course of action seeing as they delayed out quest for 07scape. And yes it may be assumptions, but answer me this: If there is a simple, normal reason the quest has been delayed why not address it properly in the video intro (as they have done previously) and why not tell us nicely on fb and twitter rather than trying to glaze over it and ignore it? There is no reason to if there is a valid, non-promise breaking explanation.

The fact they are outright ignoring any questions on why it was delayed and decided to not even address it properly in the bts video says all you need about what delayed it. And yes there are other factors that made jagex do it, but how did Jagex get the idea to do those things? Why did they become hot topics? From the fact that a vocal group whined and complained and spammed and argued until Jagex had to listen/realise there was benefit to be had by responding.

So what? A company should never take heed of their customers complaints? That's the business model you want jagex to abide by? No, not at all. The model I'd like is one where when promised 07scape will NOT effect live game one of THE biggest most anticipated releases of the past few years does not get delayed precisely because of 07scape. People's annoyance now is by no means 07scape existing, it is simply to bring it out so soon Jagex broke THE promise they made to us that it would not effect live game. Then your previous argument regarding the method people used to get 07scape back is completely irrelevant to the point you're making. Did Jagex say the quest was coming today? No but they told us the BTS would be this friday and jmods have confirmed the quest has been delayed by a week. And my previous point about people complaining to get what they want is perfectly valid - we are complaining as loudly as possible because the 07scape whiners have proven this effective; hence in our annoyance at Jagex we shalt complain as much and as loudly as we like regardless of people telling us we should just get on and play or get over it.

07scape got it back BY COMPLAINING. So by any measure our current course of action of complaining everywhere is the perfect strategy to get it sorted. At the very least Jagex are gonna have to think twice - RSOF is covered in the rage, twitter and fb are being barraged (and ignoring the issue) youtube vid has had comments set to approval before they appear and even here on our humble fansites the pr 'triumph' is facing a bit of tar in the face of the disgruntled majority whose game has officially suffered due to 07scape despite promises to the contrary.

Just give up man. It's done. Jagex was gonna do this because of they way they handled EoC...just play which ever game you want Its people like you that let companies get away with not being accountable for their actions. [bleep] off and go home. Thanks Firstly calm down, secondly it's not a big deal. Jagex have made a lot of players happy with this and people who don't like it don't have to play it. Instead we can stick to our entirely unaffected live game which is no way shape or form is compromised by 07scape existing as promised by Jagex right from the start so come tuesday we can be dungeon deep in...oh no. Nope wait. Jagex had to delay our lovely grand master quest because they diverted attention to getting 07scape up and running. That promise lasted well, so now we get a week of NOTHING thanks to 07scape.

I bet Jagex is well happy with their triumphant please everyone pr stunt now - they made the minority of whiners perfectly content and upset the majority by delaying their quest and creating a shit storm of negativity against all their media outlets. Lol the youtube video comments have been set to requiring approval. Guess they need to filter out the bulk of the comments to try and hide the backlash.

Because Jagex has actually been getting somewhat better with this stuff recently. That's not a high bar, but it's there. And as I said before most aren't all that pissed off just at the delay (sure its annoying but these things happen). It's the culmination of last weeks BTS promising this weeks would be quest. This weeks BTS not bothering to give a reason other than cause of 07scape. Jagex 'rushing' and 'working hard' to bring 07scape asap. This quest being one of the biggest most anticipated updates of the past few years. All in all it adds up to the logical conclusion of: Jagex focussing on getting 07scape out today caused the quest to be delayed. Which in turns means 07scape is effecting live game users, which is something we were directly promised would not happen.

Ping - We are not annoyed just because it is delayed. We are annoyed that the delay seems, at this point, to be caused by 07scape taking QA/dev attention. The FIRST promise Jagex made about 07scape was it would NOT interfere with the live game in any way.
-
2007 - Old School RuneScape... You Vote! - [It's Here!]
This is obviously more of a priority over a quest. I guarantee more people would prefer this over a quest. God no - the 250k-ish voters for 07scape are a minority according to hiscores and jagex activity figures. And regardless of whether you think you can guarantee it or not the point stands: Jagex sold 07scape on the premise of it NOT interfering with the live game and here, at the very first hurdle, it seems it already has broken this.

That I would accept, quest first bts 2nd to avoid spoilers. But given how things are usually don't I don't hold my breath for it. I think this is the first time I am genuinely annoyed by the potential screwyness of Jagex - I mean even if the quest was just delayed due to last minute bugs it'd be ok but they could've actually introed the bts video saying WHY the quest is being delayed instead of leaving it so unclear and open to the obvious suggestion that they diverted devs to get 07scape servers working for the vocal minority and their stupid money grab poll that they had to move thresholds on and ram down the throats of everyone with a million tweets and fb updates and ads because it wasn't performing as expected.
