  1. Thats what I was thinking of! Got my self muddled.
  2. morale is in the steel bar iirc
  3. I noticed that, they showed concept art for all/most of the tower monsters (All of which look awesome) and said they'd been redone but video was all old monters. Guess the models aren't fully animated yet or the purposefully left them out as a bit of a teaser; if they re-did this lot I wonder if it means slayer monsters in general are next on the rework list eg will slayer cave ones and the few others left get a lick of paint (like dark beasts etc.)
  4. They offer a construction boost and there are many fashionscapers out there.
  5. Tbf it was kinda obvious it wouldn't count as when released Jagex specifically said you have to complete it in four months to get chisels opposed to just saying 'complete 4 times'
  6. 2-4 Merchants 3 Judges 3 Oxheads 5 SF / Morale / Combat Can use the last spot to look for crew with good traits or another seafaring possibly.. Two merchants might even be enough as well.. That's all I'm using. So far I've only gotten 1 Oxhead since getting to the Pincers over a week ago. :(. Wouldn't it be worth getting 6 SF not 5, as we don't get a hull upgrade for SF in Pincers and add in the fact that the Figureine at the front of the boat doesn't have a SF equivalent. It's better to have 6 of all 3 basics because with 4 ships and 5 of each you'd likely run out of crew for the 4th ship with only 5 of each
  7. Tbf the Jagex nerf hammer struck Flash Powder Factory before it even launched when someone, somehow, thought it was a good idea to have a reward curve for playing that rather than being perfectly flat and consistent or gradually rising over time started off nice and high and then sky-dived to the bottom of the atlantic trench. Afterall whats more logical than rewards getting progressively worse for investing more time.
  8. You kind of answered your own question/musing. The annoyance had nothing to do with the story content; it had to do with the fact the trade good reward for story for each adventurer randomly differ from their usual trade good. Like in the example you give the Assassin who only ever gives out spices suddenly gives out Laquer for the story end - people, understandably, assumed an adventurer that only ever gave out spice missions would give a big spice payoff on the story.
  9. Holy Cod! Now THAT looks like a sweet ruined tower where dangerous creatures have been locked up opposed to the current sort of slightly dirty hut we have at the minute.
  10. 4500xp 30k*0.15=4.5k
  11. Trudat Several big projects competing to get that time booked in: 2 new skills Rs3 Priffindas Aprsoanda Menaphos Construction rework Mining/Smithing rework Summoning rework All rather lagre projects known to be somewhat high up on the dev list of to be done.
  12. They were meant to contain the wealth (meaning accumulation/mass of in this context) Bilrach's supplies for digging Daemonheim. So if you wanna be true to the lore it'd be primarily food, clothing, spades, picks, basic furnishings etc. Also they way it was setup kind of implies these are all over the place as they were used to stockpile specific resources from that area opposed to buying in supplies. So like any given sinkhole would, lorically speaking, only contain a few resource types be it logs or ores or w/e
  13. What I don't get in the port workshop is that big mystical looking book stand - it clearly looks rc related as if that is where you'd go make magic armour from chi...so why is mage armour on the anvil outside?
  14. Old News. We've known they have a Summoning rework planned since well before EoC launch as they specifically addressed summoning not being touched in EoC as it was due it's own rework sometime after EoC
  15. Not proof. G.E. price for Studded leather boots was increasing when they weren't even obtainable yet, for example. Unless Jagex is manually tinkering prices or they are linked to something else the price will not change if an item is not in circulation because the prices alter themselves based on GE transactions and trades. I mean where is YOUR proof that the item is not obtainable? The GE price changing is pretty decent proof the item IS in circulation, even if not 100% perfect due to Jagex tinkering and linked items
  16. I did not further reply because I have nothing more to add, my opinion still stands as it was when I first posted. I don't care what way you swing it the entire point is that they crumble to dust to enforce the benefits of having the stats to make it yourself. Repair kits made from any sort of resource entirely undermines this especially since the non-tradable armours are coin repair only. I think it is perfectly acceptable the way it is and there is absolutely no need to meddle with it. I only added a further reply because you came off as rather dismissive and almost attacking Red Leaf simply because he happened to agree with the views already expressed regardless of your extra address to them.
  17. QA said it wasn't shard world due to dev time limits. IMO this is utter bs ANY new multiplayer content made in rs now the shard world tech is in place should have extra time built in to make sure it on it. Heck they should even pull their fingers out and do a project to get all the existing ones onto a shard worlds. So much multiplayer content could be taken from near dead to at least moderately active by being on shard worlds.
  18. Just because you have "addressed" them with your opinion doesn't make magically nullify that opinion and stop people having it.
  19. Yeah that list is for the stories, outside the stories it is: Whaler = Plate Occultist = Chi Convict = Laquer Assassin = Spice Biologist = Bones Missionary = Bones Whaler and Biologist = Plate Missionary and Occultist = Chi Assassin and Convict = Laquer
  20. It still absorbs the damage (making it hit 0) but does not heal you. I believe it can still absorb any attack, just no longer will allow healing massive amounts. It can still heal massive amounts, its only been disabled for specific boss special moves. There are still many non-special boss moves from which we can heal massively unless I misunderstood. EG Jad has no 'special moves' just normal attacks so his would be healable.
  21. No just advice... As in your advice gets better with your experience. No there are literal 'right' and 'wrong' answers. Yes they are graded on a 5 tier scaled (terrible, bad, neutral, good, excellant) but they do have an impact. Neutral advice does nothing to your 'score' Below neutral lowers it. Above Neutral raises it. 0 or lower results in small lamps and then u progress thru med and large to giant lamps for a near perfect score. Edit: I should point out this 'score' is some what hypothetical but based on answers vs reward thus far its whats people think its happening and it is very plausible.
  22. ... Or lowering the power of 2H weapons. Sounds like a case of "the glass is half empty" mentality. Or a realistic outlook. They said they are looking at bringing them to the same power level. This certainly does not guarantee DW going up or 2h coming down; mostly likely I'd think they both shift to meet in the middle. But in terms of not being rage-faced best bet is to assume 2h will come down to match dw - that way at worst you got what you expected at best you got something better.
  23. It's not efficiency that isn't fun. It's the mindless grinding and repetition associated with it. Problems arise when fun, inefficient activities become dead content because people consider them a waste of time. But to some grinding and repetition IS fun, which is what the entire point was in the first place. Fun is subjective. Also really most activities, even when not the most efficient, if they are actually fun in spite of it sustain a reasonable audience eg soulwats, pest control, castlewars etc. The only truly dead content offers "rewards" that do not appeal to any training styles or play styles (eg fashionscape) AND is absolutely no fun to do at all by the vast majorities perception. Great example being Trouble Brewing - the vast majority find it boring and over complicated, it offers very little in the way of rewards and it doesn't offer a good way to gain xp therefore it is dead.
  24. ^Surprising how many people totally overlook that. Few pages back there was even a picture of someone wtfing over it not giving adventurer reroll when they had 0 when middle item was the book and 'you have too many' and third item was an adventurer reroll so it couldn't be any clearer the middle one was crew.
