Will it be possible to consistently 100% scroll and trade good voyage missions in the pincer if you've maxed out your crew/ship? Assuming level 10 in all crew & captain at level 10 with +400 from traits: 2400 * 5 = 12000 from crew 1800 from captain 1350 * 2 from deck 1400 from hull 800 from figurehead For seafaring, reduce the total by 1000. Then multiply by 1.03 for morale and combat and 1.05 (or 1.03*1.02, not sure) for seafaring. That gives you the maximum of 19261 for combat and morale, and 18585 for seafaring. The requirements are 20k single stat. So, no, not all scroll/trade good voyages can be 100%ed. Can certainly get closer than I would of expected though!

So Wreck3d's petition for EOC & Old Runescape Servers!
There's been no PvP for a long time, that has little to do with Eoc. There was a fair few prior to the 05(?) removal, but there wasn't much of an art to pvp. It was largely ruleless, honourless, anarchy that loads moaned about. Then it got removed and suddenly all the rose tinted spectacles went on and loads quit. Then it came back and was the roughly same as before but the reality failed to meet the rose tinted memories so none of the pvpers came back and it has just spiraled down since.

So Wreck3d's petition for EOC & Old Runescape Servers!
Private servers don't attract players due to being 'old skool' they do it by allowing access to 'cheats' that people can mess around with, not to mention the fact 300k+ for a single server sounds like an absurdly faked number since a server with that many people on would probably plain crash due to the amount of data being processed. Plus of course the benefit of private servers is they tend to be free, so people who can't buy rs membs go there to 'explore'

It would only cost Jagex money so it will never happen. Real-life solution: Deal with the changes or Quit. Harsh but that's how life works.

Nah. I figure, just accept the fact that certain bosses are made for low level characters. I don't think rs is designed right to make quests scalable, though it'd be nice if monsters in quest could scale withint a certain limit eg say quest is designed for level 5's boss is level 10 Then if ur lvl 6 it'll be lvl 11 and so on up to a limit of say it being lvl 30ish

It's really stupid reactionary tweaks. Nex WAS top yes, but as with all top gear it has its day in the sun then gets bettered (eg Pop Armours) WHY just because a few rich pvmers have a bit of a whine must Jagex flail about like a demented child and change things to make it better/keep it on top. What makes it so dam special compared to Bandos, Barrows, Dragon, Rune etc. which all gave way when their time came. At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if Nex becomes lvl 90 gear and they drop Pop armours lower. But then Jagex with eoc tweaks has done little more than be a reactionary demented child flailing wildly in the wind. I mean the last lot of tweaks is proof enough of that. 1) Worsen a bug tht been there since beta then patch it but still miss the GE 2) Recreate a beta bug where by auto applying stats you nerf capes 3) Have to hotfix dg armours almost straight away cause they are too much 4) Basically have to repatch ALL the monsters you strengthed cause you ballsed it up.

Now requires 75 Attack/Magic/Ranged instead of 85. Does this mean they now suck baws compared to Nex gear? Still statted as a level 85 item. Dat Jagex! WE MUST PRESERVE THE TIERS WITH THE CURVE WE JUST MADE DERP DERP Oooo lets drop these boots by 10 levels for NO apparent reason but leave the stats alone so now our precious curve, for the boots slot, does a nice logic 1-70 then jumps to 80 then comes back to 75, nice and smooth like.

Cash bags sounds like a good move. Eliminates the over-pay out to noobs vs the poor pay out to high lvls debate. Also you missed the 'shadow demon' set ;)

She is still an important part of RFD, though, isn't she? Yeah I just meant it does alter her position slightly as it removes any canonical confirmation of foresight powers she had; instead leaving her just with the big spell she managed to cast. So sort of slightly lost the possible 'Guardian of Future' angle since her remaining powers are simply 'time' and as far as we know Death already guards that. Total sidebar: But talking of time, wonder if the key from Meeting History is the Elder Artefact Osbourne was alluding to being in our hands?

Skillers Aura
I quite like it though I'd have 2 slight additions: 1) Make people using the aura entirely invisible to pkers (but not to other users) - So people can't be douches whilst using it and taunt pkers. 2) Make it so you cannot hold any weapons (and maybe armour too) whilst using the aura - To stop people using it as a pk stealth tool.

Interesting factor for the above debate about Gypsy Aris - she no longer has any part in Demon Slayer.

New Demon Slayer is interesting, moved into dungeons under the churches. Don't even get to fully explore the Zamorak one as Delrith happens about half way round. No more awkward word remembering.

They're larger than the bones on the ground which means they're closer to the camera. They're also seen at a more "side on" angle. I see a couple of flaws with you argument: 1) It's only valid IF they are the same type of bones, I said they look like big bones. 2) Even if they are atop the tree the ones on the floor infront of it are closer to the camera, since the tree top where they are moves away from the camera.

I'm not entirely sure it is even floating bones, probably clearer in the vid but that image it just looks like some big bones near a mushroom that, due to camera angle, happen to match up with the top of a tree offering the illusion of them being on top of it.

????? If a merchant wasn't worth having on your boat, you're probably done with the Ports in the first place. Get 4 merchants, never let them leave any ships. Thats just no. If the voyage is sub-100% you don't want a merchant, better to have a different unit for 100%. I can see Quy's point though I would be of the opinion when you have basically 'finished' ports presumably you'd be able to 100% most trade good missions (which are kinda the only reason to still be there) so surely you would be wanting a merchant on most voyages at that point. Absolutely not. Let me give you probability 101 right now. Specific lesson: expected value. Our goal is to maximize the expected return of each mission. There are two factors contributing to the expected value: the probability of success (p) and the amount returned if successful (x). The relationship between them is simple: the expected return on a voyage, E(V), is equal to the probability of success times the amount returned when successful. Thus, E(V) = px. We have two scenarios to consider: one with a merchant, one without a merchant. Without a merchant, suppose the best success rate we can get is P, and the expected return is X. With a merchant, the return given success increases to 1.3X. How much does p decrease due to the lack of a merchant? Well, suppose you lose 2k of unit stats (conservative overestimate), and the mission has requirements of 16k (roughly typical, though it doesn't matter much if this changes). Then that changes p from P to 0.875P, and thus E(V) = 0.875P(1.3X) = 1.1375PX. This is a roughly 14% increase in expected return by using a merchant. Note that as mission requirements increase, it actually becomes more beneficial to use a merchant, as the decrease in p becomes smaller while the increase in x becomes larger. TLDR: ALWAYS use a merchant, on ALL your voyages, except for voyages for 3 or fewer trade goods, where the effect will be rounded down to nothing. You wouldn't want to use a merchant if it decreased your success by more than 30% (roughly, 1/1.3 to be precise), but there are no such missions. To me this probability math has a few flaws in its considerations. 1) It ignores the factor of time - a failed voyage doesn't just mean less resources it comes at a high time cost. 2) It ignores the practical resource cost of failure - ship repair charges and dead crew costs impact on overall outcome, especially when you consider a crew death not only costs resources to replace it has an ongoing negative effect whilst that replacement is levelled up. 3) It is all very well in theory, but as with most complex probability/statistical odds theory and reality rarely conform taking thousands and thousands of interactions to trend towards the expected; so for a singular user this model is unlikely to play out correctly. It could work out much better than someone using no merchant BUT it could also end up much worse.

Chaotics
You're splitting accuracy from chance to hit monsters? Isn't that the very definition? Give me an example of where accuracy is capped please - I'm actually unaware of any thing of the sort. It's quite simple: All monsters have a certain level of accuracy at which you cannot get anymore accurate against them and thus improving your accuracy stat further is meaningless when fighting them.

True I forgot her RFD role that would kinda make it work, but I dunno I still feel she's not a good fit. Perhaps she is the character that is going to become a god though? Her powers and foresight would fit with that; though arguable the Oracle shares that foresight and thus could share many of the same powers. (Osbourne even said in his mind he thinks of them as sisters, but that is not a fact that is written into the lore at present)

But all the Guardians are...well guarding something. What is she guarding? Fiara is looking after the Fist of Guthix so it's not mis-used Juna does the same for the tears Valluta is fighting against the pests to keep balance. Death is guarding time and death by taking people at the right time etc. Balance (assuming it is one) guards stone of Jas If the Frem Saga guy is one (based on the hint of 'likes to tell stories) he'd be guarding memories/history What on earth would Gypsy be guarding? And would it not be kinda of be against Guardian's style to be running a very public buisness and profiteering? I mean it's been established holiday events are kinda bending the lore and not 100% canon (mentioned in the aama) hence why we had werewolves at the games and such, and thus all the Guardians we HAVE come across has been because we came upon what they are guarding or out of necessity eg Death allowing us to revive as we have work to do.

The fact its an Armadyl artefact suggests no, though they could put a twist in the lore whereby Armadyl actually sort of 'nicked' it (much like the 'Eye of Saradomin' being the Stone of Jas) Elder Artefacts specifically refers to artefacts left behind by the Elder gods, the Elder gods cam before Guthix and made Gielinor and then for whatever unknown reasons left, the Tok-Haar are part of this Elder God time as they made the land. Long after their departure Guthix found Gielinor and brought people to it and Guthix is known to be weaker than the Elder gods then the assorted other deities of runescape came after Guthix and are known to be weaker than him (with the possible exception of Zaros). Long story short if Armadyl staff was genuinely made by armadyl it would not be an elder artefact. Only people/races known to of been in rs pre-Guthix are Elves and Dragonkin thus far. Also I'd say the Armadyl Staff is more likely than the Battlestaff since the former is the original artefact that was stolen from Armadyl, the later is a battlestave we created by putting a patched together orb from the original on a normal staff.

That's almost my setup at the moment, but I have 6 of the standard seafaring crew and only 2 merchants. So far there's only been screenshots posted of the 3 base crew from pincers, and that Oxhead guy. If there are truly only 4 pincers crew member types, then that will affect crew choices I'm sure... It will only affect them in as much as merchants etc. from bowl will be kept. Also @muggi I'd say 6 seafaring is the most important of the base crew because seafaring loses out on hulls (200 less on max) and loses out due to no rams and figureheads; so in terms of reaching stats seafaring crew > morale/combat crew (only slightly but still)
