  1. Port Management pick Arc. You should be familiar with this interface already as it is the one you use to pick scroll focus. In terms of chasing down specific resources it breaks down as: Arc - Bamboo Skull - Gunpowder Hook - Slate Scythe - Cherrywood Bowl - Jade Sickle(?) - Steel
  2. 10 would be a logical limit given how slow levels get around about lvl 5/6 and general metric system tidiness; plus teh way stats are going lvl 10 on a good crew would be INSANE.
  3. If its relatively new, not cosmetically damaged and they are giving it away for free there's bound to be something wrong with it, that's just common sense.
  4. One thing that occurred to me in passing about the 10 man team design. I wonder if they put in a runebound style ko attack (the one it does if all 3 prayers are up to long) that is trigger if it does not take enough of a certain damage type; ergo it could enforce 10 man teams by needing to be hit by stab, slash, crush, bolt, arrow, thrown, air, water, earth and fire pretty consistently to avoid it doing a pita ko attack. Though arguably that requirement could conceivably by done by a 5-man team: Slash Stab dual wield Crush 2h Bolt Thrown dual wield Arrow 2h Mage rotating spells. At a further stretch 4-man could manage it if all the first 4 hybrid and fired of a specific element once in a while. [/totallyunfoundedspeculationramblings]
  5. There aren't really any afk tasks these days though since 9/10 monsters are unaggressive by default.
  6. Since wheen are wyrms bad xp? I was getting a nice 1k xp pop per kill last time I was there which is much higher than most things in my experience and they are a relatively fast task.
  7. I'm inclined to agree with montychuck on this one; also Pop armour degrading to nothing isn't a limiting twist seeing as that only applies to the buyable version. Make your own and its repairable and keepable.
  8. I wonder whether we will ever get counterparts to the captain trait voyages. Eg unlearn traits and/or trait missions for crew.

  10. ZS or Kosari is pretty much the next best choices to Cr for stab. I think Zs is a bit better but obviously requires super antis
  11. Well what do you want? A boss designed around lvl 90 combat stats using 'appropriate gear'? The monster has to be doable with slightly lower gear than it drops otherwise it'd be stupid as you wouldn't be able to get the gear in the first place.
  12. Looks interesting, though I am somewhat concerned that it is designed with lvl 80 cmb stats "with appropriate gear" and teams of around 10. Assuming they aren't overselling things as always it's gonna be like gf any remotely casual pvmer. But we shall see how it goes, video didn't really give us huge amounts of info. @Demoli's point I think they clip of current KQ was showing it 'as is' because bts etc did say Kalphites have been given a makeover. Also I dunno if it was just me but I got the impression from how they said things they meant KQ will remain as a low level boss but the Kalphite King's lair has its OWN queen who is a bit higher level but essentially the same concept.

Stev doesn't ask for all these for the benefit of his health, it is so he can pinpoint what is causing the issue thus enabling it to be fixed.
  14. "Haxunit Net" gained 200m Construction xp today. Also, http://www.reddit.co...tion_dd_update/ Haxunit also joined tracking today if you look at his profile, which suggests tht 198m is his entire xp being added opposed to true gains for the day; don't get me wrong it may be a bug; but the way runetracker profiles work make high records far too common to be indicative of a bug on their own.
  15. I wouldn't say so nearly all runetrackers records are insane thanks to f2p no hiscore and/or account creation causing 'gains' from 0xp to w/e ur current xp is.
  16. Currently best armour is Tetsu, Death Lotus and Seasinger from player owned ports combined with glacor boots (glaiven, steadfast and ragefire) and the dominion tower gloves (spellcaster, swift and goliath)

  18. The one thing that bugs me in this was in both the bts text and video they kind sold 'which statue where' as a puzzle, heck even the dialogue at locations is setup to give you clues. Huge flaw with this is 4 gods, 4 locales all blindly obvious PLUS if you go through dialogue and pick it says 'you sense this is right/wrong for the area continue?' AND if you right-click the rock to skip straight to building it says Juna (slayer xp) etc. beside them. -.- Puzzle my ass.
  19. Well, when would you ever need to recharge prayer in Canifis/Gu'Tanoth? Hell, who even goes to Gu'Tanoth? :P Yeah as functional altars none of them are really in useful locales. About the only one of any use is Canafis and that's only if you use that slayer master and therefore pass through between tasks.

  21. I would agree if Jagex hadn't used the word tier like a million times and purposefully moved gear about in level reqs to create and maintain said tiers. I do however agree that not every tier needs to be 100% full, so long as they are balanced towards all classes. eg We had glacor boots in level 85 tier which was fine as a stand alone as there was something for all 3 classes. Or where at lvl 80 we have the chaotics but we lack 2h slash and stab, 1h/dual crush it's ok cause atleast everything is covered in some form (for sake of this example I'm taking zaryte and virtus to cover arrow and 1h/dual mage and ignoring thrown since Jagex has openly acknowledged thrown lacks high end weapons for the moment and indicated they intend to fix tht with the range slayer dungeon) But, as previously mentioned, I think it is bad (if left unaddressed for over 2-3 months) to introduce a new tier for only melee styles without a range/mage counterparts.
  22. To expand upon the No: Urns only work when you are actually receiving an item from the thing you are doing. All forms of mining, woodcutting, fishing etc. where you do not actually get any items don't work to fill urns.
  23. Thats the pet sign, it shows 'pet points' aka xp for ur skypouncer, blazehound or bloodpounder growth. Presumably when they manage what they originally planned all pets will use it.
  24. True on both points, however I prefer a fight with the game rather than a fight with players, even if the payout is lower. This relies on the assumption that the drops aren't made super rare to balance out instancing, y'know like how the nex armour drops are relatively common (as boss drops go) to balance out the difficulty. It also relies on the assumption that they will be tradable.
