We already knew this. They let it slip in the live QA's in like November that RS3 is in the works, one confirmed feature thus far is fully customisable interfaces. It's also likely that the move from Java to html5 mentioned last year will be RS3.

Double post I know but I have to say considered all Mod Osbourne said I'm calling next months grandmaster quest as the finale of the Azzandra story arc. 1) It's a big quest line (in story and anticipation of Zaros return) and near it's end 2) Year moving forward/god content - Zaros return would be a good starting point 3) Azzandra content due this year 4) Nex appearance in next quest offers ties tos Zaros 5) Two new Guardians of Guthix in next quest: The return of a god would certainly be something that would attract the Guardians. It certainly would make sense...

This makes me think of those stones just beside the Gamer's Grotto. I was thinking them or the mysterious heads or the lodestones or the sword in wildy crater thingy. I was more intrigued by the one we can wield though. I mean he said 'in your hand' so it implies a weapon opposed to an armour piece and 'might' implies limited access. Initial thoughts I'd guess anti-poison totem, Keris or Zaryte Bow.

Being limited to only 25 crewmembers max really hurts when you have a fourth ship =/ I feel like 'speed' should've been separated off from the main 3 stats and we could've had a 4th stat to play with like 'diplomacy' perhaps or speed could've been made use of better eg 'race' missions. Also the Jagex wiki kinda implied there was purple hatted speed-crew to match the red, green and blue hats opposed to JUST speed special units and we have seen speed captains, so I wonder if it was planned but dropped at the last minute

No. Random events are capped at one a day. How sure are you? I'm pretty sure I've had more than 1 random event a day, especially in later regions.

The Sunfreet 500 damage thing is specific to ranging as it relates to ruby bolts (pre-eoc) which were the only thing capable of hitting so high.

It's hard to say off that NPC alone, we dunno how much of a factor they play; but it certainly seems possible! Interested to see all the demon-makeovers! 3.42 is the most of dg demons by the looks of it. Looks like left to right: 1) Bloodchiller 2) ? Looks very much like the concept art of the 5th Kalgerion General that Mod Mark said was 'deeper' in daemonheim than Warmonger [hide=images] [/hide] 3) Thunderous 4) Warmonger 5) Riftsplitter Pummeller is missing it seems, but very interesting that they seem to have actually made the 6th Kalger now, suggests 'floor 61' whatever it may be is not far off. I wonder if floor 61 will also include a 6th Behemoth and Stalker. So after this video all we got left to see/discover is (since godwars got done): Imp Greaters Jungle Demon Delirth Agrith-Nar And that's it I think? edit: Derp I forgot loads Nezikchened Chronozon Othanian Holthion Doomion Tormented Demon Ice demon Also I guess it *could* feasible include Abyssal, Nechs/Death spawn.

So I'm guessing it's just like a briefing room type thing before you go to stop a mob, similar to waiting rooms before minigames. Have to see what the BTS video today gives us! But theres Zamorak symbol and distinctly zamorakin looking priest; not Saradomin. Also they said: A briefing room, waiting room, minigame thing would entirely contradict 'similar to the goblin flash mobs'

Well seeing as 'Demon flash mobs' are on the Jan D&D... But 8th one certainly looks a bit out of place, I wonder if it has anything to do with the Demon Slayer remake mentioned briefly in a recent bts video; would make sense to bundle demon stuff together and if it follows remake trend thus far it'd included a new noob quest too.

How did you do it and how much DF did you get each time? With 200k+ I usually get 1 page, with 500k+ I get 4+ pages. Trudat. Do climber, get to 200k DF or more should get 1+ page in most chests. Still takes a few hours maybe, depending on luck of draw in what bosses you get and stuff; but that hard or all that slow to do.

Dominion Tower Gloves
Quoted for re-emphasis. It is NOT to do with attack rate. It IS to do with how many monsters attack you. The way Rs works counts each monster attacking you as an individual session of combat. So two monsters attacking for 1 minute becomes 2 minutes of combat for the purpose of degradation. If you fought Gargoyles say and it took you a minute to kill 1. If you just fought one and killed it you'd have used up 1minute of the gloves. If you hit 2 so they are both attacking you, took 1 minute to kill the first and a further minute to kill the second. Rs would count you as being in combat for 1 minute with the first gargoyle and 2 minutes with the second gargoyle resulting in 3 minutes of combat (1+2) for the 2 minutes you spent fighting. Say you did the same as above but with 5 gargoyles. You would spend 5 minutes fighting them, but gargoyle one would be 1 minute of combat, 2nd 2 mins and 3, 4 and 5 minutes for the 3rd 4th and 5th. This would mean 15 minutes of combat are taken from your gloves (1+2+3+4+5) for the 5 minutes of real time. Its just a case of remembering 1 monster = 1 combat session and each combat session counts time independently even if they overlap meaning several 'combat minutes' can pass in a single real time minute. You can substitute Gargoyle for any monster you like, regardless of their attack speed; it is specifically having multiple monsters attack you at once that eats up a lot of time.

As Tiigon said their only special is that they reflect a little bit of damage of the type they are strong against. Goliath does ranged Spellcaster does melee Swift does mage Though of course they are the best gloves in-game stat wise, being slightly ahead of Torva/Virtus/Pernix, so unless you have many mils to get those three you wanna use dom tower gloves or face a massive downgrade.

They certainly last at least four hours, mine seem to take forever to degrade; you have to remember with degrading items multi-combat makes them die faster. eg Spend 1 minute in combat with a dragon = 1 minute of degrade. Spend 1 minute with 5 dagganoths on you = 5 minutes of degrade.

Best Amulets/Rings
Worst advice ever. There is only so much defence you need and crit hits are important as they add 25% to abilities do 75%-125% auto attacks. There is no way he should trade in his fury for a defence amulet; that's a downgrade. Also speaking of tiny numbers, defence ammy only gives 100 defence, barrows gloves give 93 - it's a very small amount that has little impact overall. Compared to 2.6% crits vs 4.2% crits on Fury; now in terms of crit hit the 0.x% boost from Fury or Serker to others maybe kinda small, but a boost of 1.6% boost certainly is not.

No? hmm combat and seafaring? nope? ok ok this time I got it morale and seafaring! still no? Perhaps morale and combat? Alright alright I finally get it: TRIPLE VOYAGE. Gloves/boots
It's nearly always worth wearing fully of the correct class, seeing as mixing penalises & wrong classed items don't exactly help you that much in most cases. I mean sure you could strap on mage boots rather than melee as you have a better pair with higher def rating, but on mage boots most of that def rating goes to melee, some to mage and very little to ranged where as melee boots give most to ranged, some to melee and little to mage; and in most cases a melee-weak monster would be inflicting ranged damage. Edit: I should probably clarify when saying nearly always I mean in combat as a whole, I'm not a big pvmer but I imagine the majority of the boss monsters are diverse enough to warrant more of the mixing, where as slayer is dominated by sticking to the triangle in all bar like 2 or 3 cases.

This but I'd add Seer, Archer and Warrior non imbued are all still better than berserker. And Ammy of Ranging is better than fury too.

New Dung Challenge Room?
It's already there under 'Poltergeist' because the ghost in this room is named as a Poltergeist. Also it has nothing to do with farming it requires Herblore (to pick the herbs), Prayer (to consecrate them), Firemaking (to light them) and Thieving (to open the coffin)

I dunno; early in each region I always found merchants/solidarity/golem etc. didn't really show up and even later on they were some what rare compared to the normal crew (eg maybe 1 a day vs like 5 or 6 a day). So its possible they are there just being all rare n lurky atm, but I wouldn't be super optimistic for it.

Not his fault, but we all know it's utter bull. I doubt this content was on hold from before the beta was created for it to have been designed with the old stat-se...but I guess there's a possibility is that there are some designers who still don't understand the post-EoC environment, but that's so utterly depressing I don't even want to contemplate it. I love tasks and this is no exception, but this goofy implementation so long after leaving the beta stages is getting really ridiculous now. Oh well. I had fun while doing them, even if it was somewhat dampened by the snafus of today. Or it could be that they have a little applet that automatically generates rough stats appropriate to level and some of the dev's for w/e reason haven't got the updated one on their comp yet so just use it by default without thinking. But then it is rather clearly they are floundering in the dark a bit when in their 'eoc tweaks' they upped like all the gd monsters def then in a hotfix and a further tweak the next weak they had to reduce basically all of them again.

And that's why that elite requirement is complete shit. I don't see what the problem is. It's no more time consuming than completing Temple Trekking. If anything it takes less time and, to be honest, if you were expecting them not to have a Dom tower 100% complete task for the elite section you are just being naive. I agree with this, plus in my experience DT can be maxed much faster than Temple Trekking and there's was far less drama over that being on Mory tasks
