Not really duping when the pet is creating the item in the first place. Also thus far in my experience they only ever leave it on ground, never had one put in my invent regardless of space.

Thrown weapons (?!) *New Question*
Sagies are best thrown wep in-game. Dragon darts are 2nd best, Personally I have sagies with off-hand drag darts or with a shield; may be a bit pricey but jagex purposefully made very few thrown weak things in high end monsters as we lack thrown weps in high end. Only one I came across for thrown thus far in slayer is Abby Specs and even then thats only in slayer tower, poli ones are arrow weak.

Post EOC
^No The formula is X+def+2 That's why I am currently 197 combat: 99 + 96 + 2 99 coming from att or strength, 96 from def. My 97 mage, 95 summ and 88 range are ignored.

1) Same armour as before basically, but then you want 2h or dual wield weps for all 10 cmb styles to maximise killing speed. Excluding hyper costly nex tier stuff your looking at: C maul for crush Cr * 2 for stab Whip + EE for slash Ccb*2 for bolt Crystal bow for arrow Sagies for thrown polypore/sol for maging 2) Yes its kinda much easier and theres been a bind system overhaul 3) Prayer is same as before other than protect/deflect is only 50% effective now so there is much less prayer tasks 4) Probably not, items are settling into their new places based on usefulness, or at least they won't hit where they were pre-eoc 5) A port that you own. Read the news post and fansites for more details, but as you have no 90 stats you won;t be starting it anytime soon. 7) 200. Combat level is X+def+2 where X is your highest stat out of att, str, mage, range and summ

The stories do unfold in interesting ways. The Occultist is only trying to get herself killed as she is immortal after being commissioned to do research on it by Quin. Quin wnats to be immortal and the occultist wants to keep this power from dangerous hands hence trying to kill herself; but you step in to suggest there must be a way to get rid of the immortality and so sets out to do this.

It goes to you, probably in the skill of the character that you used to get it. This is what I have heard. If it's Whaler it goes to fishing. Assassin to slayer Botanist to herb Missionary to prayer Occultist to rc Convict to thief

That would seem to re-enforce my guess on the triple since we now have confirmed Quin links to Whaler Assassin and Occultist. And confirmed Hyu-thingy links for Missionary and Convict, any confirmation of Hyu-thingy coming up in Botanist story would seal the deal.

Not to boast but I have (edit 4) 3 whaler stories done :) someone said it only contains 6 mission per character, but I find that hard to believe? Also, I am guessing we can only do these sotry missions once? Well for the triple stories from comp cape we know 1 is the Quin story and 1 is Hyu-thingy story. Thus far (in story work I have done) Convict and Missonary are setting up base on Hyu Whaler and Occultist have issues with Quin By the sounds of Whaler mission 2 end the need to sneak implies Assassin will come in with Whaler and Occultist for a triple Leaving Botanist for the Hyu story. Which would make sense seeing as it puts 1 from each pair into each triple story as pairs are whaler - botanist, assassin - convict, occultist-missionary Also yes the stories are 1 time play through with big trade good reward pay outs. Smallest payout is for solo stories Middling payout for duo stories. Biggest payouts for trio stories that can only be started once the duo and solo stories are cleared for the 3 characters.

I don't think it scales other than hook > Skull > Arc My missions have been totally random; sure there is a scale of difficulty within a given region but it doesn't seem to be progressing from easy to hard just luck of the draw. First day of hook I had mostly 8000 10000 missions, second day I had some 6000 and 4500, today I had some of each kind. What diffculty you get is purely up to RNG throwing out a selection of missions.

What even? Tiered memberships for bonus perks
And for those 12 months, you're paying over the loyalty rate -- thus losing the rate to take this offer. Why is that so hard to understand @_@ I think because your word choice is poor. As the grandfathered rates are unobtainable if you lose them people read losing the rate as meaning you cannot have it again. So given the context to say you lose the loyalty rate is kinda wrong as you will retain it in the long term; though of course your point is valid that for the period of 12 months in which you are using this package you have paid more than the usual loyalty rate.

From what I've seen in terms of picture etc the Decorative Katana IS the Ornate Katana; I think whoever posted about that just got wrong name or something. Especially as Jagex wiki does still only list 3 katanas - Decorative, Golden and Auspicious which are game card, amazon promo and sof respectively. The gold package is pretty sweet of all the 'vanity items' all that is missed is Golden Katana from the Amazon US wallet game buy thing, the Ice Mask from last years 'buy 2 for 1 membership now and get this mask free' thing and the Carnival Headdress given out free whenever that event was.

Seems like an awesome deal for ukers. £45 works to: £3.75 a month vs £3.20-£3.50(?) a month. And that package contains a good £35 of runecoins, £15-£20 ish of spins and most of the cosmetic gamecard items that u had to spend a buttload to get.

I don't see why things like monkey nuts or oranges would since they are just items. But ones like biscuits that are holiday event food would do I'd imagine

Og Blog: EoC and the Grand Exchange
The so-called panic selling of the Nex was motivated initially by announcement of the Obsidian Armour and the sneak preview BTS video which showed the stats for it, without mentioning the penalty(as you well know, Obsidian has stats that rival that of Nex). Thus, high-leveled players reasonably assumed that Nex armours would be overshadowed by the new and easy-to-obtain armour, hence why several popular youtube channels recommended dumping them. This behaviour was perfectly rational with the amount of information given at the time. Then, a few days later Jagex announced the penalty and that particular crash was averted -- or so it was thought --then, they announced new high-end equipment(PoP), so the crash resumed. It has already been confirmed that PoP, for now at least, surpasses Nex, thus it is a perfectly rational for Nex to crash. It's not terribly difficult to understand. But the crash started before that, it started when EoC came, same as it did for host of other high end gear such as Galcor boots which had no reasons to crash other than panic sellers.

Og Blog: EoC and the Grand Exchange
This is false. Whilst panic selling does exacerbate the crashing problem, it is not the initial cause of the problem. If an item becomes less useful, or superseded by a better item, the demand for it will fall, as will the prices. Also, as an individual, one has little if any control over the behavior of other participants in the market, hence, an intelligent individual will take that into account. If I have reason to believe others are going to panic sell, then it might be better for me to join in, since I alone don't control enough market share to countervail their panic selling. It is perfectly rational in that situation to go with the tide, dump your armour, then buy it a little while later, saving yourself some money in the process. ---------------- SInce PoP armours are only marginally better than Nex, I wonder if the set effects will make Nex armours superior to PoP? As far as I know, the PoP armours don't have any effects, yet. In the Nex armours the initial crash WAS caused by panic selling because, quite simply, until PoP there was nothing better so there was no reason for them to become devalued.

I obviously meant rares as in the rare high level armour given the context of my post on a thread about a newspost talking about people panic selling rare high level armour.
-
Og Blog: EoC and the Grand Exchange
I like how the gist of the message here is: Stop panic selling your rares because they might drop you idiots - it's your selling them that is making them crash in the first place and they are still useful so all your are doing is moving onto worse gear for no good reason. Which tbf pretty much sums up the average RSer who seems to have limited concept of how supply and demand works with the GE (source any number of threads on RSOF and a few here about why jagex should stop lowering the price of X even though the price is caused by the ge and supply/demand)

SOL? Ultimate here Sh*t out of luck. Though of course remote desktop has many flaws anyway and using a simple, but cheap, piece of software like VNC will do the job. You just have to have the VNC server running, with a password, on the system you wish to control and then VNC viewer can then log on to it via ip address easily. I use VNC all the time - use my laptop to turn off my desktop across the room after using it as a dvd/blu-ray player at night. Use my smartphone to turn off laptop/desktop after leaving them on to finish downloads/updates. Connecting to Mum's desktop from university (hundred odd miles away) to help her if she gets stuck doing something.

Right now from my observations all of the hook voyages I've gotten have been highly manageable with my current crew. I'm not concerned with buying better crew yet, but it'll come soon after. The difficulty for my voyages went way up, 6.5k single stat requirements etc. which you definitely can't get more than ~60% on with Skull crew and ship parts. And I just had to pay ~500 gunpowder for repairs because I failed a mission at 73% (which is not in the 'heavy consequences' zone), so that 60% is a pretty big risk. In other news, 80 more slate and I got myself a nice new hull ^^. One of my crew died and the ship got destroyed at 85%. Heavy consequences zone is irrelevant sometimes. You lost your ship? Did you have to buy another one? I might be mis-remembering but I believe I 'lost' my ship in one of the early days; the outcome was 5 hours in dry dock opposed to 1 hour.

Obviously if that's how you prefer to play then have at it :). But FYI, there's substantial benefit to advancing to Hook and later backtracking for additional buildings/etc. As you continue to advance, you'll occassionally get a couple of Skull missions anyway, so it's kind of a waste if you buy everything gunpowder-related before leaving the Skull region. As a more specific example, Hook offers a higher-tier merchant crew member which gives a 20% bonus to resource rewards instead of the 10% found on Arc-region merchants. Given the patterns we've seen in POP so far, there's probably at least one more merchant later on which offers a 30-40% boost. If you're not capable of doing standard Hook missions, then finish getting ready for sure. But if you have the Skull's ship component upgrades and a decent set of Skull crew, then you're definitely better off heading to Hook ASAP and returning later. A large part of your reasoning runs on the assumption that crew appear based on region focus which I think is flawed seeing as many of the Arc crew still appear in whilst focused on Skull (eg varrock chef, brimhaven pirate etc.) Also with returning later - really in terms of progress there's only so far you can apply this as if you don't do the building upgrades you are hindering yourself further down the line I mean lodgings help attract better crew and shipwright gives a boost to your ships. If you just surge forward ignoring building upgrades it seems to me that your only setting yourself up to be in trouble later on.
