No. CLS/CLS and CLS/EE have higher attack stats but slower speed. When you follow the math through properly the above being 'fast' (EE in 2nd case is slowed by the cls) results in lower DPS than vine whip/ee that have slightly lower attack stats but run at fastest. They are close enough in attack power that the added speed means their DPS comes out slightly better.

Chaotic Maul is probably the best first buy. Seeing as good crush is kinda costy (sara sword, torag hammer or verac flail). But I'd make sure you also grab yourself Korsai's Sword or something for stab.

Accidentally clicking into a disused tab and then further misclicking onto a button in said tab, which you did not want to be in in the first place? And it does serve a purpose, it helps ensure people coming back into eoc reach the tutorial easily so they don;t get entirely lost.

On numerics vine whip + eee is actually better than 2* CLS for dps. But yeah in terms of 1h weps Stab - Rapier Slash - CLS Crush - Dragon Mace (any higher it's all 2h)

As far as I was aware tagging only allowed u 1 tag at a time. So as soon as you attack something else your prior tag is lost. Or is there like special conditions at glacors due to glacytes?

I believe you to be wrong. What they did do was remove concept of skull/being safe in wildy and make it so you drop everything on death in wildy regardless; but the prayers ought to still function.

It entirely depends what for. In terms of pure dps Whip + scimmy would be the best slash setup of the lot. Whip and shield and dual scimmys are probably pretty onpar. For the ranged choices Magic shortbow is the best arrow setup, being the only one there. Dual cbows is the best bolt setup.

No more feeding pets = pets galore when not doing cmb. Since I have mostly finished the familiar using skills.

I'm loving the sound of all this. But I'm looking at that slayer req on ports and I'm like ARTUHBFNJLDVBJLNEF update I actually need to train for. Admittedly I'm not far off, but still this is kind a first for many years. (I mean sure theres bit and bobs I can't do like making gano gear and a few slayer beasts; but I sort of only count requirements on playing an piece of content not just a monster or an item)

I believe so, if you notice in the quest the character was wearing a kiln cape, so that makes me think one is needed for this quest??? I hope it is needed! 8-) I dunno why but this quest scares me..... lots of Combat in this quest, with the new EOC I'm not sure I am up for all the fighting. As for needing tokkuls to repair the new armor, glad I have plenty seeing as it took me over 15 trys to kill Jad, so yeah I have many banked... :oops: ( That's if it is even needed. ) Personally I doubt they'd req the cape; after all that was a big concern for the prior quest and they didn't do it then. I could see the cape being a requirement to get into the lava oven thing afterwards, or perhaps a requirement to of paid the fire cape to unlock kiln; but can't see kiln cape being an actual req.

Between festive cheer, the stats on that gear and pop on the horizon I've gone rather hyper on excitement.

The one floor I'd draw: In EoC all the bosses are 'no weakness' and their old weaknesses do not appear to have carried over at all. So spear and 2h are perfectly matched with maul right up there too.

Kind of a given when the conditions are sheathed weapons = skill total, unsheathed = combat lvl. Unless you some how hack the game to not bother getting your weapons out for combat.

A friend of mine was the one posting it on the HLF several times over, eventually he got forumbanned with no reason why. Of course, it's kind of obvious why. They must really not like this site or something. "Posting it [..] several times over" -- sounds like spamming. Not really surprising that he was banned for it. It wasn't spam. He posted one thread, it got hidden with no reason given. He posted another thread and it got completely deleted, again with no reason. He wasn't creating several threads at once, just continuing the discussion. Thats still spam as far as forum rules go. Reason given or not if something is locked or hidden it is not supposed to be reposted doing so is spamming.

I'd even add that it is probably better to hold off on cls and rapier and make your second chaotic a combined 300k token purchase of dual ccb and also I believe there is some debate that suggests vine whip + eee > cls + cls/cls + eee so I'd push cls to the back of the buying rota.

Whilst these all have enough in common to raise an issue I do kinda think it's overplayed to an extent and easy to draw false conclusions. First and foremost there are only a handful of reviews for a company that employs hundreds of people; it's like the RSOF update whiners a small, but vocal, minority. And as such must always be seen in the context of a minority until proven otherwise. Secondly you do wonder if it is some kind of group of friends who are going on a bit of a tirade based purely on the fact out of 17 reviews 16 of them were posted between july 2012 and now. Kind of suggests the possibility that 1 disgruntled ex-employee posted it and mentioned it to friends etc and word spread slightly and they all followed the leader. A concept that can be compounded by them all posting much of the same things, it could be seen as they have had this conversation in the pub or w/e having a good old moan like us Brits like to do and thus coming to all the same things to moan about. Don;t get me wrong I'm not entirely writing it off as nothing, I just think the 2 factors above make it easy to over-inflate things based on a small amount of data.

Seems to be pretty much the same as before tbh. Due to limited binds and 2h being more pwerful 2h > 1h + shield. So in melee that means Beserker ring. Mage blazer or blitzer seem best still (apply combust effect or faster casting) Ranger Desperado or Sniper seem best still (increased damage or increased accuracy) And as every gatherer is best for skill rings.

You can no longer make the elemental staves; they still exist as drops though.

It is true you need runes for the charge which does augment the cost somewhat. Plus there is the factor of it being better for kill speed to use water, earth and fire where appropriate which means polypore strike only has the 1 use there in terms of air surge replacement. Then of course ancient mage spells are better than surge spells (unless im mis-remembered something) so the real comparison would be gale barrage vs polypore strike for air spell.

Possibly you went to an website that sent one of those missing plug-in bars and you thought it was flash or w/e and just clicked yes. Or you installed a 'spam' plugin - these are ones that purport to be something useful (like a toolbar or w/e) but actually install these kind of ad delivery plug ins.
