Wow, can anyone confirm this? I simply can't use that much data per hour on runescape. I used about 1000 bytes/second during peak usage according to Jagex's inbound and outbound data rates. This is about 130-135 hours of in-game time to use 500 megabits of data. Mmm I had around about the same rates, if anything the EoC seems to be slightly lower data rates than live game for me, not like a huge amount, but slightly.

They changed tht. Arma/sub/bandos is lvl 70 same as barrows now. I believe barrows has marginally better stats at the cost of degrading.

This is the one thing I dislike about them; though I must admit I am tempted to (in time) get them and keepsake-ise like all the skill capes, quest cape etc. just for the show-off/dress-up factor without having to sacrifice wearing fire/lava/comp

You got a pmod mute, and by the sounds of it a bit of a trigger happy pmod at that. It'll expire in 2 days to no detriment to you, but it is more likely to be removed in a few hours after customer services jmod ppl review the mute (as they do with all pmod mutes)

I like the idea of bard skills in the game, but stand alone music skill doesn't appeal to me. It just seems (in all the suggestions I've seen) too audio based and lacking depth or bordering on outright wrong for rs with guitar hero like 'games' to make it bigger. I think it'd work nicely as sort part of a sort of druidic/psychic/devotion type skill thats all about the spirit/soul of a person and healing/boosting it through things like little rituals and special songs and such and maybe even allowing some psychic-type abilities, plus it'd build out nicely into many other skills. Crafting for making instruments etc, herblore and cooking for making various products/ritual items, could even go into like hunter and all sorts via mind-control/shapeshifting things. Basically a very broad ranging support skill of sorts.

Wouldn't be surprised if the teleport can only be used once a day/week. I doubt it'd have that limitation seeing as it's going on the games necklace and probably part of the unmentioned reasoning for it's addition is to help TDs

If they want a spirituality focused skill the gathering skill could quite easily be Archeology imo, that idea has been around for ages. Also they only skill I can think of (not to say Jagex won't throw us a curve ball) for the finishing skill would be the long suggested engineering. These would both work with lore shifts as archeology ties much more to the gods and in newer updates we have been seeing much more structures that an engineer might create plus it'd fight in with expanding dwarven and gnome lore.

GE data would be included in the charts, except that there's no GE data for beta worlds. Well that kinda defeats the purpose of Beta testing it, then. Not really because Jagex are perfectly capable of sufficiently beta testing that feature on their own. All they need to do if go on a test server pull up serval of the interfaces and go hmm yes the graphs are working. Plus that feature isn't even particularly MEANT to be beta-test content, it was in BTS for this month the fact it went into the beta game is pure coincidental and probably only occurred because they didn't want to bother coding all the new crafting etc. items into the old interfaces. I do wonder if when make-x comes to live game it's going to bring all the imphides etc with it, afterall it makes sense to let most (if not all) of the new armours filter into the game a bit before the update comes.

It's a reading rainbowwww. The combat tutorial was alright. Just teaches basics on how abilities work against mobs you can normally one-hit anyway. You use the same combat style against an enemy and it doesn't go into hybriding or anything useful. Also you do do both tasks, but doing the 1 in beta won't achieve anything as no xp gained inside the beta is transfered to the live game.

So presumably if we say picked Bandos and mined near varrock certain places like the church would progress from Saradomin to Bandos along with a few cosmetics elsewhere like some decor/npcs changing

The other is a production skill, but they wont necessarily be connected. It would make sense for them to be, though. Hopefully some at least one of them will be available to non members. :) F2p being given access to two consecutive new skills? Your dreams are far fetched. Tbh I'd say the standard don't get disappointed assumption to make is: No new skill ever will be f2p. I mean since members was invented back in 02 only 2 new skills have actually been given f2p access, whilst 9 have been members.

I have to say: If you have NO emails about loyalty points etc in this one email that is apparently the only one your account could've been on you are clearly wrong. You must've put it on a different email address, otherwise you would have those emails like you said, unless of course you are suggesting the hacker inexplicably went to the trouble of deleting every single rs related email you had.

It's actually really easy to buy supplies for herblore and all other skills right now. I just bought supplies for 99 herblore and 98 summoning yesterday without any real issues other than water talismans. The trouble isn't they are hard to buy, the trouble is their price has skyrocketed meaning you are basically paying twice as much as the normal prices this rendering the benefits of the weekend void in terms of gp:xp

They confirmed on forums that all these things work off the base xp value. So, for example, if you did something normally worth 100xp. The amulet would give 100xp The weekend effect would giv 100xp. So both effects independently doubled the 100xp to 200xp but the grand total is 300xp.

Also ranting on the support forums won't help matters. Ranting appears childish, impatient etc. and in a case like this will really put people off helping you. It's just human nature, working in customer service is someone has an issue and is relatively pleasant about it you'll bend over backwards to sort it out and give them a voucher, if they get all ranty and impatient you'll get p****d off and put it further down your to do list and not bother with those extra little outside the normal procedure things you could do to solve it quicker.

Do you really need more planned? It's only an 49 hour event, factor in sleeping and such and 77k oak planks alone would probably consume most of the weekend let alone added farm runs etc.

I know for the easter event rs wiki posted locations for every single event under the easter 2012 page, try searching the wiki for h'ween 2012 maybe? EDIT: there you go, http://runescape.wik...allowe'en_event look under current locations, states f2p and p2p locations for the five ghosts and time 'til next event. Also 'ghost find' and 'W2V' are fc that are doing ghost searches (or were yesterday at least.) Tend to be faster than rs wiki too since reports for loads of players means false data gets lost quicker than rs wiki.

Tbf I do like that f2pers get slightly less out of recent events, because holiday items are always a sort of status symbol of 'look I was there' so to me it's nice to be able to have that little bit more to say 'look I was there and actually a paying member' though it is taking it a ridiculous extreme that f2p only get a cape this time. Deffo agree that I prefer quest-type events; I mean not everyone really cares all that much about community stuff. To me they should aim to be more like Gielinor games were done: The bulk of the content is quest/game-like event with a community element as a non-vital extra. I think what makes these community type events worse is the sheer lack of effort put into them now, I mean a peng hide and seek clone at best is being kinda lazy with it but then the fact they basically already did this EXACT event for easter and just swapped some graphics out to make it halloween. I mean what's next? At Xmas we'll have Santa vs that ice queen lady where you pick a team and every 2 hours theres 5 snowmen to hunt.

Randoms have done nothing in terms of stopping bots for years. They are more than capable of solving them, combat ones won't do any better because they are even easier to react to for a bot than some tht just went away.

Also when you get the account back there's a few steps you can take to help secure things for the future: 1) Link it to a gmail account that has 2 step verification turned on - these are much harder for players to hijack and seeing how email is central to recovery now this is a big help. 2) Setup a bank pin - having a bank pin is the difference between being hacked and losing what you are wearing vs losing your entire bank and cash pile 3) Turn on JAG - It's not a perfect 2 step verification system but it certainly has it's benefits and can effectively lock down your account so select computers making it very hard to hack.
