Your problem is you trying to withdraw Ingot IV from the front of the furnace thingy. Ingot IV are ONLY for ceremonial swords and require level 75. You need to pick Ingot I, II or III in order to do burial armour, they require level 45. You do this by going to the back of the room, where the burial armour area is and there the withdraw interface has a toggle button to pick I II or III- Promissory Note & Choose Your Fate rewards
Some people are really wasteful with the darts, I can't see why people would genuinely use them (other than trolling) on anything other than Nex, Corp, QBD, Nomad, Vanstrom, Jad, Har-Kan, Sunfreet and maybe Pest Queen. Because they are the ones that offer potential epic pay off and/or can prove an unbeatable pita for some subject to lag issues and such.- Easiest way to get frozen key?
Yes. Each god's piece of the key only drops from their followers and only within their 'stronghold' area.- Easiest way to get frozen key?
The easiest way to get them is to enter each 'stronghold' as thats only place keys drop and find a cluster of the weakest monster to stomp on. So like imps for Zammy Hobgoblins(?) for Bandos etc.- resource box
You shouldn't instakill darts are far better. More on-topic: The places worth using it would be skilling locations that are a fair distance from a bank and do not require you to withdraw stuff. So somewhere like the granite quarry or something. But in all seriousness the instakill dart is by far the best reward in terms of potential from profit (throw it at nex) and help in the long run (throw it at a quest boss you can't beat or use it to finish fight caves or something)- Livid farm wishes- vial my herbs
Lose money per herb but gain money/hr compared to puting into vials yourself (assuming you value livid farm on its own, so the pts are free) But epically lose money:hr if you consider livid farm wasted xp + wasted money on rune costs + fact it takes all of like 30 seconds tops for 1 invent of herbs to be vialed; at 14 herbs an invent 4 invents = 1 wish. Wish takes much longer than 2 minutes to earn. So yeah wish is brilliant if you don't mind taking longer overall and losing money due to extra time, extra costs in runes and lost herbs due to no scroll of cleansing.- Getting to Jad
I'd highly recommend ganodermic + polypore, it's faster than range, fairly cheap to do and has good survivability. As long as u use mage pray on 360s and trap 180s the only issue damage wise comes from the 90s but as u don't have to worry about surviving Jad you can guzzle brews etc. Plus it makes it near impossible for Jad to kill you in the first hit because he will get 1 attack in. He usually starts with ranged so you pray that, but sometimes he does mage but the mage absorb of gano means you don't get hit hard enough to be koed- 01 Oct, 2012 - Behind the Scenes October
This consumable thingy for overides - Totally want to get like full bronze as overides then go to like mith dragons and such.- Promissory Note & Choose Your Fate rewards
Oh also [qfc]15-16-196-6402176[/qfc] Emilee confirmed it should 1 hit Nex (A HLF thread I believe, I can't view it myself)- Promissory Note & Choose Your Fate rewards
Considering the wiki comment about multi-form monsters that sounds like a bug to me. (Eg some dev forgot to code the darts to have an exception to the blanket rule of you cannot hit over x on this monster.) Yeah Mod Raven posted here: [qfc]15-16-627-64021832[/qfc] Apprently there should be no cap- Promissory Note & Choose Your Fate rewards
I'm deffo getting 3 darts to get 3 firecapes FINALLY. Dunno what to do with 4th item though. Tempted to get a 4th dart and try to use it on Kiln boss or perhaps QBD. Kiln boss would certainly be a more productive use, but people say Kiln is easier than Caves (once you know what ur doing with safe spots etc.) and it does sort of feel like I'd be cheating myself to not even TRY kiln properly once.- Promissory Note & Choose Your Fate rewards
Judging by the wiki the dart does work on Jad wooooooot Wiki only says dart won't work in: PvP areas. Lucien in RotM DG Edit: Ninja'd but still woooot- The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
They do need to let us get some drops and/or xp from beta taken to live, it'd get a lot more people playing it because we are all xp obsessed.- The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion
How do you get people to keep coming back every few weeks? How do you get them to try other areas of the game? Most people are content to play with their torva and chaotics in the wilderness, but that gets old after a while, and you can't really expect players from every style to log in to play a game like pest control. That's very true, and I realize that my original post came off as saying "why even bother having a beta outfit" which wasn't my intention. The point I meant to make is that "why are they turning it into another throwaway holiday item". Because unlike you most people LIKE holiday items as a way to show off that they were there at the time, the only reason people bother with half the holiday items isn't cause they look good or do awesome things it's because down the line you show off that you were there by getting them out. If everyone had the beta outfit just for logging in it'd be like ok cool you spent 5 seconds in the beta, with the events its like yes you actually took part and spent some time and effort in the beta. I think he meant to ask why they were effectively turning the beta outfit into a holiday item (i.e. put in effort at event to get item reward), as opposed to something more exclusive, which is originally how they described it. True but then they describe holiday items as exclusive and holiday items take effort at an event to get, so by Jagex usage the Beta outfit perfectly fits this.- The Evolution of Combat: BETA discussion

One thing I like is frugality promoting gadgets. For example my desktop computer and living room tv arrangement are connected to plug thingies that purposefully turn off all the plugs using various smart methods so you save power without having to turn all the stuff off. Eg the longue one is an 8 gang plug. Master socket is for the TV, it has a remote sensor you train to TV remotes standby single. Of the other 7 plugs 2 are permanent on for like DVRs and the like. You press standby on TV remote and it turns the master plug on. You can then turn the TV on (if it don't come on of it's own accord). Once the TV is on it'll turn on the other plugs (so like games consoles, dvd players and like). When you're done hit standby for TV. It waits about 30 seconds but once it's sure TV is on standby it turns all the plugs back off. It makes being frugal through turning plugs off a heck of a lot easier by eliminating needless standby/effort to turn loads of plugs and or off; yet retains the connivence of plugs etc. being turned on. And these relatively new wifi/smartphone linking boiler controls which mean instead of being like I think I might be home at 3pm, but it could be later better set heating to come on at 2.30pm you can be like right I am now setting off for home best set the heating on. Or once you get into bed be like right heating off from le warmth of bed.- Future Update Discussions
Why is this concept so hard to grasp for some people? If NPC died, NPC gets festival. If NPC not dead, no festival. I know is super easy. If an NPC 100% dies in a quest dialogue/menu about who you can bring forth checks for quest completion in your account. If it's done the option appears, if it's not the option doesn't. For quests where they can die, but do not definitely die it checks that stored variable, the same variable it uses to decide if NPCs are shown and how the dialogue mentions them (such as the quest for the circus fm event who dies or not results in them being present or not at the circus)- 6 Hour log. REMOVE IT!!!!
Whilst logging people in wildy fights is perhaps unwise the 6 hour log is definitely good and ought to say. After all sitting at a computer screen too long is bad for your health.- Leaving Cannon at Frosts.
It's not necessarily just reloading it as cannons decay to nothing if left out too long, but picking them up fixes this. If you pick your cannon up and rebuild it then load it and go it should stay put just fine, if you just leave it without rebuild it's liable to decay whilst you are away.- Future Update Discussions
Given the nature of the event and fact items are related to a person I think it'll be a case of we get a special non-wearable firecape from an npc somewhere. Like we might go see Jack at Lunar bank and get Cyrisus' Firecape or perhaps Kuradel will give us Duradal's firecape kinda thing. I'm also of the opinion that they don't want to lock anyone out of visiting dead npc's, so they're not gonna keep you from meeting Duradel just because you don't have 99 slayer There's kinda no reason for slayer cape to be an issue at all seeing as they moved slayer cape from Duradal/Laplok to Kuradel, so whilst many of us never actually saw Duradel sans slayer cape as this happened after WGS came out he never technically wore it and lacks any association to it in current game.- Future Update Discussions

According to Jmods the returns are balanced based on GE mid values, it's not a literal case of items handed in being re-handed out. It's a case of the items being possible rewards (in any amount required to match gp values) were chosen to match items being handed in so as to not have items disappearing. (eg rocktails going up as suddenly loads r going into tasks not being sold). As for the troublesome tasks the Jmods mentioned in livestream tasks were value balanced based on the cheapest way to do it so smith x items or craft x items worked from 1 bar and 1 hide items costs; hence this week those tasks were altered to be be smith x daggers and craft x vambs- XP outfits [Skill Gear and Animal Outfits - September 27th]
Moving items already available doesn't really count to me, as much... It was, however, still a SoF promotion that occurred upon the weekend regardless of new content or otherwise.- XP outfits [Skill Gear and Animal Outfits - September 27th]
I feel you may be living on a different planet if you think its been a while since they did a SoF weekend promo. Last weekend was "End of Summer" all sorts of summer items into more common slots. Fortnight before that was the Alchemists Amulet Week before that was double spin sale Week before that was the barbeque, summer ring, storm ring and icecream cone hat arriving We've had one like every single weekend other than the weekend of the 14th. - Artisan's Workshop, is it me being thick?
