I'd say odds are urns won;t work. Urns after all give BONUS xp. All other items that give bonus xp don't work. eg alatars, ecto, goldsmith gaunts, sc tools, sc armour, penanace horn, xp lamps etc etc

I thought barb fishing was the best xp:hr WHILE fishing but not the best xp:hr IN fishing specifically cause it gives other xp types as well.

I'm guessing from these collective shots: 1) We arrange a grid of colourful rune sided boxes (the fb pic) to power up a machine. 2) We run the machine to churn out them boxes seen in twitter pic. 3) We have to do a slider puzzle style thing to arrange the boxes to form a system tht makes the new armour piece.

They already do monitor every trade in-game and have done for years. All 1 way trades get flagged to be looked at, but its a massive game with thousands of trades happening every hour. And accounts do get banned/punished via this route.

Great irony of uk university one thou: 1) Universitys had budget cut (save government money) and can make it up from the fees 2) Student loans company does the tuition loans etc but are gonna need like triple the budget to do this (which is more than cut from unis in first place) 3) With new scheme you earn higher than before (£21k) b4 you start paying back and then you pay back LESS a month than current scheme (like £5 a month at £21k) but it gets written off at same date if you not paid it back. All in all this means government gonna lose more money on it than before short term and have less graduates long term which make up the difference as by graduating to better jobs they pay bk more tax.

ya never know rotm culd have a link with ew quests. Afterall unusally power, lost history etc. Culd be a more passive or weak mahjaratts work tht made ew or even the armour culd turn ut to have some special mahjaratt repeling awesomness or sumat. Which would mean ew needs finishing b4 rotm. But i dunno i suspect late march or april for rotm also

Can't be done as far as i know. Whole point of sleeping is for short term off time; eg a few hours. You don't need to worry about moving it while turned on, hdd are no where near as easy to break as the old days; what with being designed for laptops and portability these days. The odds of it damaging itself are only fractionally lowered by being off, besides most systems power down the hdd when its not in use to save power. So basically: stop worrying and just walk around with it, you don't need to sleep it just to move to the next room or w/e

Yeah it is rather annoying when people can't take that their info is outdated or when they are shown literally proof they r wrong and still refuse to see it.

In that case definately get 88 before the weekend which shouldn't be hard with your bank. Don't wanna waste valuable time making mith plates. Isn't smithing in general quite fail thou? Afterall sc hammers give x2 xp normally but r disabled for the bonus xp weekends

Yeah it's a pretty much standard move to plant all 6 fruit tree patches and 5 (6? i forget) normal tree patches like 1 week - 2 days before the weekend (depends if ur a farmer or not) then health check them as soon as u log on during the xp weekend for massive heaps of xp.

Prayer does not work on bonus weekends as altars etc are turned off. rc is a good idea. Gaunts don't work so yeah tht also fail For herby makje sure u pre-mix unf potions before the weekend. Herb cleaning = pretty bad xp. herb + vila = 0 xp. Its unf + 2nd thts the gd xp so for bonus weekends its best to have stacks of unfs and 2nds not herbs.

I think the ignorance award should be split between NikolaiH and Amberpyre for their combined utter failure on knowing what bot issues are. Botting does not make a large part of jagex's income because loooooaaaaaads of the bots out there are run by RWTers and account sellers and such, especially in china, that buy members using credit card fraud. Which results in jagex having to refund all the membership payments made from that card AND pay a hefty fee to the card operator for the admin of it all or face losing the ability to use that card type for payments. And free trade was taken away to stop this as detailed above. But anyway back on topic: It still stands this idea is an utter failure because its jsut a slightly different random event and as thoroughly proven in the past bots can be coded to deal with these. Also @Bladewing the reason games like Call of Duty don't have bots is because theres nothing to gain hugely in botting them. There not a grind intensive game that rich dweeds wanna "play" without playing and they aren't something chinese gaming seller companies can rwt really since user data etc is tied to consoles and discs and gamertags and not something easily tradaded in the same way rs items are or an rs account can be.

Its a doubled bladed knife: On the 1 hand government workers not being able to unionise and strike maeans they can be paid less and no strikes. But it will mean [cabbage]e rates of pay for those under-appreciate roles. On the other letting them strikes ensures they get a fair deal but can cause public disturbances and result in some overpaid ppl.

Yeah dg was covered well abive. As for surface its pretty basic: If they attack has started it will finish. So as soon as the animation starts for them to attack you WILL be hit even if you teled out. This is why when emergancy teleing you always telle jsut as u get hit, before they start an attack.

Looking forward to another EW quest cause mod rumour mills suggest the finale set produced by the quest/the final reward is gonna be pretty epic and the way the armours progressing does seem promising. The quest format is getting a bit dull now, just another big ass puzzle for the sake of a puzzle. The first one was atleast interesting and balanced lots of little puzzle elements into 1 big puzzle with some action. Second one was ok, nice puzzle, but a bit more draggin items about and less action. Third one was just a massive puzzle, no pretence of story or action just sit in a room and do a massive slidey puzzle.

Yeah clearly this work cause this in as no way as randomly generated or as simple as the existing random events are; which clearly none of the bots can do. Get real, it'd work for maybe a day then it'd just be an annoyance because bot programs would update to solve it in the exact same way they can deal with every single random event in game successfully.

It varies from person to person obviously. I can't give any numbers but I can say personally I get better xp rates with oak larders still; oak door clicking regions r too fiddly for my tastes and end up losing me loads of time. so if you haven't done them before make sure ur happy with me before hand, as in my experiience its about 50:50 split between thoose hu love em and get awesome xp and thoose hu hate em and end up with worse xp than larders.

Just a heads up: I wouldn't really call this a tradition from the "early 2000's" so much. Given that rc came out with rs2 which was 29th march 2004 And law runes were not craftable until august 2004 when Troll Stronghold came out with the law talisman reward. Law Running did not really exists until the abyss appeared, which was June 2005, as it mostly air running. And even then I'd say it wasn't a big thing til early 2006.
