  1. Yes, picking xp sucks, but if you just want the produce quickly, you can gather it faster then if you replant. I'm assuming here, but wouldn't it be better to buy the produce in the first place? Yeah would be quicker and cheaper to buy in msot cases. Take papaya (one of the only ones that you CAN'T get from anything but farming) 1.8k per fruit 40k per seed Unless you need 22+ papaya for something that is gonna make 0 profit its cheaper and faster to buy the fruit than waiting on a tree.
  2. I definitely liked this brand of puzzle more. It was less massive penalising if you go wrong challenge. More intuitively suss how it works then its fairly straight forward. Once you realise how cosmic controls work its not too hard to solve and same for chaos. All I don;t get is: Why do we need Da-Vi to pick up and move the tablet to the workbench, yet after carving we can move it ourselves?
  3. Should be an auto option after the quest tbh..same for chaos/cosmic/body puzzle resets. tbf the last 3 arent hard to redo. If you follow tip.it quest guide its only 5 moves to recharge bar maker. Cosmic one at most 1 random pillar swivels when you use it, so all u do is press "power up" and watch for the explosion of fail n rotate it. Chaos one aint to bad to recharge either. its just bar priming tht takes forever.
  4. 1 thing I do recall somewhere is that the final armour set is going to have a set effect. I could imagine it being along the lines of either: possible runes depending on type u wear (much like nat/law staves) OR some sort of defence shield type buffer (going by the wield animations) sort of like a forcefield tht either adds to defence or perhaps attacks like bulwark beast shield has to be broke b4 u get hurt.
  5. Wow. A full 49 mage def, that's almost as much as a blk d'hide top  . When you consider the rune-crafting requirements we only ONLY on a lvl 35 armour set atm. So its on track to be pretty pwnage by the time we get up to blood/soul Also my guess for quest line future: astral/nature be paired like cosmic and chaos Then the next corridor will either be a law/death/blood triple finale quest OR 2 quests being law/death and blood/soul Afterall this quest does seem likely to offer up soul rc altar assuming rotm doesn't
  6. And at quest end: [hide=Cosmic (with boots now)] [/hide] [hide=Chaos] [/hide] Oh and bar powering: cosmic draisn rc Chaos drains theif edit: fixed chaos pic cuz i had helmt wice n missed body.
  7. Chaos Operate powers up the "drianing machine" stick a primed bar on it and use it urself
  8. The machine tht activates the automaton Put a primed bar on and operate again (have to repower everytime but at most opuzzle doesnt reset at msot 1 pillar rotates itself) Then its the usual workbench up top with various books Stat resotres r a must it drains rc big time to charge bars
  9. Full cosmic (before u do chaos and find the boot book): [hide=Cosmic] [/hide]
  10. Erm we have the "dung" quest in that we have the first quest with a dg requirement in the new pirates quest. Other than tht we have no form of "dung" quest to be waiting for. He means the 'The Ritual of the Mahjahrrat' quest. That has no links to dungeoneering thou* and everyone referring to that says the ROTM quest *Just to cover my ass for pedants: it has no CONFIRMED links. It might req dg but nothing has confirmed or suggested this

  12. The smithing update is deffo not what we wnated but it sounds like it might be worthwhile. Afterall they have said the ceremonial swords will be better xp than pl8 bodies shuld speed things up a little atleast.
  13. No program. You don't need one. All the programs do is take over from windows/linux/mac to run the internet when the os is perfectly capable of this itself without any software intervention.
  14. Valid points. But the picking xp SUCKS so even if you are low on seeds it is not worth the time/effort to run these plots just to pick them, which makes you wonder is it a good addition to the guide? eg 10k xp for a palm health check versus 41xp for picking. If ya low on seeds yer time is better spent not running useless plots.
  15. Jagex soon is not soon. Stellar Dawn has been coming out 'soon' since July. The big smithing update has been coming "soon" for a year and a half
  16. Really you want us to summarise SEVEN YEARS of updates? Given that on average 4 updates a month for 7 years tht is 48 updates a year aka 336 game updates for 7 years. Basically its not the game you once played treat it as if it were a new game you never played before. edit: I realised I totally mis-read the original psot on the dates DOH
  17. I'd say: Don't worry as and when you come across a need for them in a quest guide or w/e just look them up in item database on tip.it to see how to get em back.
  18. It depends on how long u had the previous name. The longer you had it the long it is saved for you. As long as it is saved for you you have "last known as"
  19. *disrespectful unrespectful isn't a word.
  20. This interent sounds interesting, is it any faster than the internet?
  21. Completely false. If you have an older computer, it is good to restart it once in a while to clear the memory though. Right, but that has nothing to do with the longevity of the computer. According to iStat, I haven't shutdown in 22 days; everything works fine. It depends on a lot of things, but 22 days is nothing at all, with any OS. He was talking about the number of year/months the computer will work, not days. I know. Having your computer sleep for 6+ hours a day isn't going to slowly kill it. Exactly. I let mine sleep 8 hours+ twice daily, with a full restart monthly, for the past 4 years and it hasn't had anything go wrong. Yeah sleeping > shutting down tbh as shutting down and powering back up causes extra "strain" to hdd in particular that wears them out sooner. Also more likely to kill off mobo as the "surge" of power when u first turn on is more likely to short it than just being in sleep state. etc.
  22. Because goldsmith gauntlets and sc hammers don't work making it fail to do smithing on bonus xp You could just fill up 10 of each urn and teleport them away in the first 30 minutes for a nice boost in next to no time. ^If that even works. Question: RS doesn't really specify - when they're counting the time you play, it's not actually 30 minutes right? It's 30 minutes of game ticks of doing something? i.e. in your POH, talking to your servent/removing your furniture doesn't count towards the timer? Or do they just start counting 30 as soon as you start skilling? If you are in-game the time counts down. Lobby doesn't count but if you are in game it counts. If you stand and talk for 10 hours u will lose all the multiplier.

  24. The bosses get a flashing arrow over them iirc which would imply basic oh look 2 players 2 bosses, your one has flashing arrow you can't attack any others. Same as some quest monsters where on release day its really unrealistc (even for rs) cause a unique 1 of a kind monster has like 30 of em in the room for all the questers.
  25. Think so. Don;t quote me on it but I'm fairly sure the battle arena is not instanced u literally jsut get put down in the arena u can see from the top area.
