the 1 tear per tick is true the 1 tick per qp is false. It WAS 1 qp per tick aaaaaggggggges ago, but a good 2 years ago now total tog time stopped going up, instead each new quest has just made 1 qp worth less time in there. So regardless of your qp - you get to stay in TOG for the same amount of time? No more qp still = longer. Just the max time hasn't increased in ages so every time a new quest comes out each qp is worth less time. Like say max qp was 60 and u got 1 second per qp Then overtime max qp reaches 120 max time would still be 60 seconds, so each qp is now only worth 1/2 second. So yeah every time a new quest comes out current qp become worth fractionally less time

Other than a few cases where teleports put you nowhere near a balloon location (eg sawmill or entrana). teleport > balloon. Balloon you have to run too (even just a little way), pick destination, wait for the fairly slow transport sequence, then run again. Tele instantaneous so it wins.

I don't. You'd actually have to look at your IP every time you log on. I mean, if we had different colours or something if it was different lol... I can understand that some people would notice that sort of thing, but the average person won't. If u miss dramatic changes even at a glance ur far too unobservant imo I mean mine goes from virginmedia.cliftcus8 or something like tht to britishtelecom or something to do with bt depending on whether im home/uni. I can see if u have same net provider it'll be close enough to miss, but odds of hacker having even remotely close to yours is like 1 in a thousand

Daemonheim = useless as the bank is outside of it. House: it used to be random free but weren't there a lot of reports starting about a yr bk tht u can now get randoms there? and also a bit pants for doing anything like herby since u can bank fast.

You can't get randoms during combat or for a a little while after combat (to ensure you don't miss a drop due to randoms) So on most slayer tasks etc where u stay pretty much constantly in combat you can't get a random but as soon as u stop you will. Good examples of this is bandits training; you can stay for hours on end semi-afk getting xp no problem but as soon as u go upstairs or outside to log (and thus leave combat) ull get the random.

I don't think you have to plant the trees during the bxpw to get the bonus xp for checking.. If someone can verify this please? Meaning you won't have to wait till it actually starts to plant the trees, saving you a lot of time. Nope you don't Thats why everyone plants a full set of trees before the weeknd (well anyone with ense) then do the health checks when it begins

Not really. Sure it gets you 2 magic tree runs, but you miss a good half day+ of playtime. Using the full 10 hours > maximising the 2.7 on farming. A good idea thou is to plant new trees overnight, means u get the boosted xp (thou at lower multiplier) without wasting playtime tht u culd use to eat up ur 10 hours. Afterall most average joe players barely hit the 10 hour mark, so why delay urself just to get massive farm xp for checks? Play the whole time doing farm runs inbetween other skills and even with bonus drain ull get more xp overall.

This is so true. Cept the few herb seeds tht profit (which you can use for herblore trianing instead of selling if you like for marginally cheaper herb xp) herb seed costs > buying the herbs directly and the xp pay off ito farming doesn't warrant the extra cost to an already expensive skill.

Do you get a random exp based on how much exp you're gaining? I never noticed a huge difference when skilling something that has extremely good exp rates vs something with extremely poor exp rates (although, I don't remember ever getting a random during my times RC-ing) Once randoms are as rare as you can possibly get them (through beating them etc) they come like clockwork at around 400k xp gain mark. Hence why so many ppl get zapped as they leave combat (eg end iof slayer task) or exitting dg.

Last numbers I saw suggested monkeys were better at 80+ 75-80 they about equal to pp. They do unlock at 75 right? I forget, but w/e it was 5 level past unlock them seemed to be conclusively better.

For pyramid plunder the golden chests in all but top 2 rooms, check snakes 1 b4 last loot urns in last does give the best xp per RUN. But ignoring EVERYTHING in all but the last two rooms (where u do the snake/loot thing again) then exiting with time to spare gives better xp:hr

True. But those top of the end hacks: 1) Soooooo highly unlikely to be used for a game so dont matter 2) They not gonna target people at random with tht sort of attack; you gotta of pissed them off for them to home in on your for such a specific attack. So it'll still be your fault

The ONLY case of hacking I can think of tht isn't ur fault wuld be if the rs server itself got hacked and thus they directly got account info from jagex; but odds of tht seem very slim jagex has high security and im willing to bet if such a hack DID occur they'd do some big lockdown and force some sort of verification using data the hackers didn;t get before they let u change ur pass and only then allowing u to log on

I'm not sure but when you finalkly get tht 3rd bind isn't armour the best way to go as sure extra offensive options may be nice but better defence from the off gives u more chance to survive with more food and supplies.

My personal route for total speed would be (i'm assuming from above posts u have spirit tree at sarim?) Start at Varrock tree Fally tele > Fally tree Lumby tele > lumby tree Cabbage port > spirit tree to stronghold tree Run > stronghold fruit tree Taverly tab > tavelry tree juju bag/withcdoctor mask> to herblore habitat tele crystal > lleyta brimhaven tab > brimhaven Cammy tele/cathurby tele > cathurby tree This route also works with spirit tree at brimhaven, just move gnomestronghold and treegnome patches to after brimhaven. And can really be reordered how u like aside from gnome 3 being together via spirit tree (or u can do em after cathurby via running up to glider, thou speed wise this way it is better to glider str8 to gnome village then glider bk again before u climb down to do stronghold) I didn't land you on a 1 click bank as there aren't really any unless u tele to cwars. But cathurby, lleyta and lumby all wind up pretty near a bank. (lumby more so 1 click due to rfd chest) and hh has deposit box.

You don't just get hacked. If you do, you absolutely did something to deserve it. End of story. Yup even its a case of say tip.it got hacked (as forums sometimes do if they r a bit security lacking) and they got user data then used it to hack rs accounts. If your password is the same on the forum as it is on rs its still your fault. If your friend or your brother or w/e used your computer and got a keylogger and thus u got hacked, its still your fault for not having gd spyware/anti-virus.

Its not hard to notice the difference in ip on the login screen for rs; unless you realllllllllly are blind. Unless its like ur next door neighbour or something. I mean the random textual bits b4 the actual ip number change quite dramatically. Speaking from someone playing rs since it first launched I notice the difference everytime I've logged on elsewhere

It does make me laugh how silly some people are. Sure if you happen to have expensive gear on when you get hacked you might lose a fair amount. But bank pin will keep 95% of yer stuff safe for at least 7 days (from the time of hacking). I got hacked once after using a college computer to play rs; I lost 5 raw sharks and my cooking cape. My bank pin still had 6 days left on it and kept all my barrows etc safe (this is bk in the day when all 6 barrows sets set up bk like 100m)

Yeah I put a note in that other thread the first two mvoes of puzzle 6 throw up tht message; u shuld jsut ignore it.
