  1. Theres exact numbers floating around somewhere; but yes it is true. It is because the higher ur prayer bonus the less each +1 does eg +19 > +20 has a bigger impact than +20>+21 And people have figured out tht short of wearing a 100% prayer outfit +20 region is the best to aim for, as it covers the most powerful prayer boost, but doesn't waste defence/offensive bonuses on prayer bonus tht does naff all overall.
  2. The first picture isn;t a tatto its what they call "anime make-up" its done purely with eyeshadows and eyeliners.
  3. Seems to come up a fair bit still people get stuck on this. So I thought perhaps it'd be both linking through (as MEP2 does) to sort of "advanced" puzzle guides. Where you are offered a picture for what you should after each pair of moves. I have all the necessary pictures for this if you so wish as I went through taking them today to prove for sure the guide aint broken. Example: [Hide=Puzzle 1 (12 images)] C, 2, F, 6, C, 2 F, 6, C, 2, E, 5, B, 3, F, 2, B, 3, F, 2, E, 4, F, 3 [/hide] Other Puzzles Images (not put the text with em) [hide=Puzzle 2 (15 images)] [/hide] [hide=Puzzle 3 (25 images)] [/hide] [hide=Puzzle 4 (17 images)] [/hide] [hide=Puzzle 5 (18 Images)] [/hide] [hide=Puzzle 6 (15 Images)] [/hide] [hide=Puzzle 7 & Recharge (6 Images)] As puzzle 7 has only 3 moves and they are all somewhat "hidden" I did 1 pic for each move. Recharge sequence (bk to 2 mvoes per image) [/hide] Also in doing this I noticed puzzle 1 (atleast) the "puzzled solved" picture doesn't match the actual solution, below shows what the solution ACTUALLY looks like. And At the end of puzzle 5/start of puzzle 6 the guide needs a note to say "For the two moves of puzzle 6 you will be told "Nothing interesting happens. Maybe if it was powered first" ignore this and continue with the puzzle as guided." edit: And a thought I had on making it user-friendly would be to get one of the codewizards on it and setup a table on the page and have: "Moves completed" listing off all the moves (of tht puzzle) completed so far, with the two new moves for the image bolded Have the image (obviously) Then have "next moves" or "upcoming moves" to say what to do next. Have bk n forward arrows and make it so you can browse through. Shouldn't be too hard to rig up in some dynamic coding work. Heck could do it on a single page with tht setup, reach end of puzzle one "next move" reset. When u hit next it shows all pieces in starting positions "completed" could say "puzzle1"Then off into puzzle 2 and so on. But in the short-term (to stop spams of THE GUIDE IS BROKEN) you literally jsut post a very basic page listing it off like I did for puzzle 1.
  4. Sounds like their "Mojave Experiment." B Both interesting studies and show: The ridiculously over-hyped problems with Vista gave people who knew nothing about computing a bad perception of it. As in both cases removing "vista" from the product made it better to them.
  5. You missed a round of steps in puzzle 3, as it does have atleast 1 section where moves repeat (eg u have to do b, 6, f, 2 about 4 times in one puzzle) By not doing 3 right you never unlocked the next part of the system (used for subsequent puzzles) Reset and go from puzzle 3 again, try copying the instructions into notepad and delete each move or 2 AS YOU DO THEM to 100% ensure none r missed. Also these images I am submitting to tip.it to improve the puzzle guide may help: http://forum.tip.it/topic/289233-ew3-guide-suggestion-minor-correction/ Each image shows what you should see after a pair of moves. So first image under puzzle 3 displays the puzzle after the first 2 moves and so on.
  6. I'd have to agree mep2 is worse than ew3. And I'd say I'm a pretty wise one to ask in this matter given that I wrote both the mep2 guide and the ew3 guide for tip.it (the ew3 guide thts up now tht is not the buthcered version of my guide tht didnt work they original posted) Without a guide, a map or a nice overview solving mep2 is a pain in the ass. I spent like 4 hours in total doing completely random stuff in mep2 before stumbling upon the various pillars tht change light colouring automatically. EW3 took nowhere no as long to solve and the overview meant it was easy to jot down an overall note and easily map out what moves to make and where everything wuld end up.
  7. Right corner is down and u got 32 extra moves on the clock so start with puzzle 3 in the tip.it guide and you'll be fine.
  8. eh? I can't recall a "bird puzzle" which quest and pyramid are u refering too? And in terms of puzzles nothing beats MEP2 or EW3 for difficulty
  9. The reset lever only puts the blocks back into starting positions it does not undo the puzzles results (eg u retain extra moves and blocks remain lowered) But before I could say for sure where you need to start from (in tip.it guide) I'd need to know what state your puzzle is in. Namely: 1) Has the back right section (with the two tier block) been lowered? 2) Has the back left section (with the three tier block) been lowered? 3) Has the bottom left counter been activated (thus making it spark and twitch)? If none of them are yes start with puzzle 1 If 1 is true then start at puzzle 2 If 2 is true start at puzzle 4 If 3 is true start at puzzle 5 If you are not sure what state the puzzle is in pull the reset lever and post a screenshot; I can tell you where you are at then.
  10. Yea it is, can't remember which site it was now but Jagex gave them an updated world map which has a new building in south east fally right next to the bank so im assuming this is what it is. Not really any need for a bank if theres one right next to it already. Judging by the edge of the square we can see its the square east of fally east bank which has useless houses in it. Thne since jagex said its south and near mining guild we can logicall assume its on the sotuh side of this square next to the mining guild.
  11. Smithing as awhole for bxpw = fail. Gold smith gaunts don;t work so gold smelting = same/less than normal. Smithing product items you should be using sc hamemrs normally, which don;t work so again u get less xp than u can outside bxpw. Which leaves other smelting, which is sucky xp.
  12. Jagex hasn't given out times. Usually however, it is turned on about midday of the starting day and then turns off morning of the day after it ends (GMT)
  13. I have to say: The "you can't solo if ytou are low level" thing is a myth made by thoose who don;t understand dg. Low levels going on teams with high lvls get these epic lvl monsters and are like omg i can't solo! However dungeons are tailored to the levels of those inside it, it doesn't matter if you are a low level soloing because all the monsters and required puzzles will also be low level
  14. And you spent money on food, bolts etc to get the bones in the first place so its not entirely free.
  15. it resets on wednesdays same as penguins and circus. And fyi the 1 week thing is only for the camo/other witch doctor boosted xp rewards. You can catch as many jadinkos as you like.
  16. On my mac book whenever I load rs up (in firefox) the java applet stays over the top of everything even if I change tab. Eg i'll get a tiny slither of these forums where the home bar thingy is then rest of screen is still runescape itself. Anyways to stop this happening?
  17. Tip.it guide was bugged for a while cause some silly crewbie made edits to my perfect guide tht it was based on. But it has been fixed for a good 6 months now, 100% re-quotes my guide that 100% works.
  18. Ah so on the slow shutters i could higher iso with slightly faster shutter or smaller aperture but it'd have more noise in it?
  19. rune and green d-hide pretty much.
  20. Its the cave you access during the quest, the one just beyond the queen chamber. If memory serves all thats in there post-quest is a couple of guardians, the entrance is located south of the main kalphite entrance, the only major boon to it is quicker access to the queen
  21. Yeah herblore habitat is by no means empty it offers the best hunter xp in-game and anyone with an ounce of common sense spends time there making farming juju before they do herb runs.
  22. Dwarves don't mind magic and even like Superheat Item. It's actually the Barbarians who are anti-magic. They almost wiped out the Imcando Dwarves because they used Superheat Item. the imcando dwarves use magic, the normal ones don't. Hence the whole refusal to make dragon crossbows cause of magic logs etc. In an ancient postbag, someone asked an ice mountain dwarf why the dwarven mine doesn't have a furnace, and how they do their smithing. The dwarf replied that all dwarves are taught the superheat item spell from a young age. Pretty sure dwarves also have nature runes in their drop tables. Stop making stuff up. I'm not making stuff up. Its clearly stated in many post bags, books, quests and other random dialogues around the game. Most notable two: 1) Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf we are outright told dwarves are incapable of using magic other than superheat. 2) Hura the crossbow sales dwarf under ice mountain when asked about making magic log crossbows says:
  23. Nah its cause puzzle 5 setup raises or lowers the middle. As the middle is lowered but you haven't got it spinning it gives u tht helpful hint instead of needlessly raising the middle. If you just continue on it'll work.
