  1. The info on this thread is a bit muddled so to clarify: The item is called "Gas Mask" Gas Mask is the head piece of the mourners outfit. It was updated graphically late november.
  2. The professor is IN the observatory. You have to go down into the basement of his house and through the dungeon up to the observatory
  3. I fail to see the error? The beastiary entry isn't talking about any sort of specific fighting tactic. It is jsut stating a fact: If you have protect from mage, antifire potion and the anti-dragon sheidl you will absorb most of the fire attacks. It does not claim anything beyond that so its not incorrect. Where as the monster hunting guide goes more indepth and suggests what would be best too do for various setups. Such as when meleeing melee damage will be > damage taken from not protecting mage, this does not however make it invalid tht praying mage wuld absorb most of the fire attacks.
  4. It is not always better, as I stated before. It is a proven and known fact having a mauler on a team is helpful. Their attack rate is slow but they hit HARD even compared to a 2h. You really need to stop talking about dungeoneering. You were giving false information about it on another thread a while back. You're 59 dung. You haven't even started the skill. Stop. I haven't given any false info and stats have no bearing on what you can and can't know. There this wonderful thing called READING and WATCHING which means via various rs players research, youtube videos and higher level friends in the skill you can learn things without experiencing them yourself. People have shown having a mauler on team can be useful due to massive hits. Most specifically on bosses that need meleeing and high level forgotten warriors. It is by no means a necessity or necessarily a better choice, but it is never the less proven to be useful and atleast on par with 2h as long as only 1 player does it and its on a team.
  5. No, order used has no bearing on what's saved. For normal potions, the secondaries are saved. You save herbs when adding it to vials of water, and the ingredient when adding it to the unf pot. For extreme potions, you save the primary potion, not the herb. For overloads, you save torstol. Yeah cuz ur fansite quoted theory clearly covers the fact this guy is getting UNF POTS from some potions. Normal potions are the only option that could save unf. To OP: In that case I have no idea =S
  6. Its the item you don't use that gets saved I think (might be other way round and be the item you use) But yeah basically: Use unf on 2ndary = save 2ndary use 2ndary on unf = save unf
  7. It is not always better, as I stated before. It is a proven and known fact having a mauler on a team is helpful. Their attack rate is slow but they hit HARD even compared to a 2h.
  8. Yeah none of them are rares. Rares pretty much exculsively applies to itesm you can no longer obtain other than via trading.
  9. It's all subjective to play style: In a team maul is win, solo its aweful (if u solo alot get a 2h) As for 2nd bind: Teaming alot shadowsilk hood is obvious god Soloing usually you are better off getting a plate body for defence, but shadow silk can still be an option
  10. Just a luck streak in with the other faults mentioned. I mean I went for about 2 years never hitting anywhere near my technical max hit.
  11. Lol no offence but how dense are you if you did not realise you have to COMPLETE the puzzle to complete it. I mean given a sudoku puzzle do you fill in 1 square then wonder why ppl say you aren't finished? Or in an exam do you answer 1 of 12 questions then wonder why you get rubbish marks?
  12. Go learn rs lore properly before you complain like a douche. The gods used to walk the world and have a direct influence since they god wars they hav all been banished from the world. While they can be prayed to and offer indirect help they are NOT in the world. Zaros has not returned, only a portal to commune with him once more. The active gods are NOT on the world they jsut commune with followers indirectly (prayers) The desert pantheon are demi-gods not fully fledged gods and thus don't count. While the desert people worship them they do not have power even close to the level of the real gods.
  13. Serum 207 or w/e it is is by far the cheapest cause it uses a cheap herb and ashes. It is however rather slow xp.
  14. You need the ring on you i believe. You don't get extra experience only runes. And as I covered before with the other multiple rune factors it is easily overlooked & it only gives a 10% CHANCE so it can very easily give you no extra.
  15. It's only a 10% chance of extra rune per ess so it doesnt give u looaaads extra or always give you any at all. Factor in the normal multiple runes and chance of multiple runes and it is easily missed.
  16. 1) When wielded they increase farming harvest. 2) http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=costume_room_guide.htm 3) You build a portal frame and the portal focus/scrying pool in a portal room. You then click on the focus/pool and select "direct portal" select which portal (if u have more than 1 built in the room). You can then choose Lumbridge, Varrock, Falador, Yanille, Ardougne, Camelot or (when you have ancient mage unlocked) Canafis. Once directed you just click the portal to enter it and it remains until u alter it.
  17. It will never drop. As covered tokkul are harder to get now and the onyx costs much more; this is the reason for the high value.
  18. Siliske was confirmed not to make an appearance until the ritual quest. Unless the door is related to the quest, it can't be him. Bilrach isn't sealed away since he released the "strange power". So unless the door is related to the ROTM ritual, it won't be either. Azzandra said he does not know how many mahjaratt still exist, and that there used to be 100's. It could be another mahjaratt we have yet to hear of, or may not be any of those at all. Just expect a curve ball and don't assume it has to be Dragonkin or mahjaratt. I said Siliske is the only one WE KNOW OF. Also he was confirmed to not have his OWN quest, but that he would be in the ritual; as I said in an earlier post the door COULD hide Siliske's prison without being a quest. I mean the shadow robes and shadow sword thing both progressed lore and storyline of Zaros and General Khazaard without being quests. Also via Zemergouls fortress we got a list of all the mahjaratt, including 2 or 3 that were sacrificed in the last ritual so we know how many there are and who they are.
  19. The mahjaratt seam very unlikely to me, considering none of them are sealed away that we know of. The only ones that were sealed away did so themselves to escape Zomeguals (sp?) wrath, or by Zomegual/Lucien (sp?) himself. If one was behind a trapped door somewhere, his notes would have most likely indicated that. Dragonkin are maybe possible, however I say unlikely to this too. Considering even the mahjaratt consider them a myth, I would doubt them to exist in a place where lots of people were around. If they were there, you would expect to see symbols of their race around, as they did in wilderness fortress. I'm guessing by the symbols on the door, that whatever is behind the door is hated by all 4 races. Remember that the temple existed before the Godwars, so it is possible the 4 races united before the wars began to seal away this foe (or prevent it from escaping). This does sound alot like Zaros, but I don't think Zaros will be making an appearance until the ritual. It's possible to be Zaros, since we don't know the place that he was sealed. There may be a portal to another realm behind that door. I cast my doubts that it's any of the above though, and that it might be something completely new. If Jagex made the lore to start with, they could easily add in new lore that co-exists with current lore that was supposedly "lost" until now. All the mahjaratt were chased away or imprisoned after Zaros fell. Azzandra was imprisoned. The on trapped in Enkharas temple. Hazeel was killed. etc. etc. And as I covered Zaros was banished from the world before the godwars THEN the god united to chase off/seal away the powerful mahjaratt. And shadows, powerful armours etc all tie in nicely to mahjaratt and specifically Siliske who is the only mahjratt we know of who is alive but missing. Bilrach is the other who is a bit questionable but we know hes deep in daemonheim even if we havent met him.
  20. A few updates/errors: 1) Armdayl Followers - I can't recall their exact in-game name but you missed off the rather obvious Temple of Ikov priests. 2)Apekemen (sp?) needs a big overhaul to incorporate the information about her being forgotten, The devourer stealing her senses and her followers being no-one other than the Desert Monkey Colony. And her being a go dof humour and happiness etc. 3) Scarabas followers should surely mention "Scarabites" somewhere, since scarabites are his followers? Also the new info from Do No Evil about devourer corrupting them as they are a peaceful and learned race not warriors etc. 4) All the desert gods in general, the new Sphinx Dialogues, Leela/Senntilian(sp?) dialogues and the priest guy in ne corner of menaphos dialogues about the desert gods give much more info for most of them on specifics of their behaviour, area of rule and followers.
  21. And as many people covered before. Zaros is banished from our world to another world ergo hes not locked behind a door. Its highly likely to be someone else who is imprisoned who all the gods collectively fear. Theres no evidence the gods feared Zaros, by all accounts they were fine with him, there not even proof he was evil as people assume just powerful and representing powerful warriors in the mahjaratt. The gods did however fear the reckless leaderless mahjaratt after his death as they were without command and powerful hence they imprisoned them. Unless its a brand new character its gotta be mahjratt or dragonkin behind that door. With the torva leak i'd lean to siliske the mahjratt being behind it in some way (though it not being a quest) afterall we know he can make powerful armour (reference barrows brother lore which is quite clearly Siliske's doing) Siliske is also referenced as dwelling in shadows. Also Zaros reborn chaos ele quote hardly points to this. Azzandra established a portal to Zaros in the Temple at Sennistein (the most powerful zaros place in days gone by) and is there recieving instructions to strengthen the portal and bring Zaros back. Also why would a mere door trap Zaros when we already saw his mere prescence in a portal allowed him to cause earthquake and destroy a statue?
  22. Yeah melee bind is win. Its cheap and easy to churn out runes for maging. Rangning most power come from the arrows, which you have bound as ammo, and you can range in melee any armour quite easily and its cheap n easy to make bow. Where as its cost to chrun out a decent melee wep when needed and melee will pwn most monsters in dg aside from bosses.
  23. and the blatently clear outdated interface. note objectives tab and diary tab and old prayer symbol
  24. culd be the place in the north the zarosian mahjaratt are gathering, but the sisliske theory sounds likely, he is master shape shifting culd easily be a bit we instead of i
  25. Bet it has sumat to do with the leaked Torva Armour related to gwd
