The Decline of Santas
5m 5 years ago was worth bloody much more than 100m nowadays. inflation is just crazy... I don't think so. 100M today is still worth a lot more than 5M five years ago, unless you're going to assume 2000% inflation in five years... 2000% is probably an underestimate tbh. I mean back then coal and lobsters were like the best money maker in the entire game and even then they were like 50k gp an hour at best.

Batman Arkham City
My brother is so proud he "beat" the game when he borrowed it off me. If you count having your younger apparently not as good at games brother gather up all the secrets for you and complete the boss fights agaisnt Bane, Ivy, Joker, Harley and 2/3 Scarecrow bits as beating the game that is

Batman Arkham City
Old news is old. They already leaked loads of details including the fact theres hidden teasers for the 3rd instalment within the 2nd game. Much like the hidden concept art and maps for arkham city within arkham asylum that no-one found until developers guided them. I mean seriously did they actually expect people to try blowing up random walls that dont show in detective mode, and no jsut the once but SIX times for it to break and reveal stuff? So excitied though interrogations sound epic and its confirmed we START with all the asylum gadgets then gain a whole new epic set

Fight Caves Melee.
Meleeing 360s is pure suicide. Even people who melee Jad, to the best of my knowledge, do no melee the 360s. As for meleeing Jad to avoid prayer switching and thus mistakes not gonna happen. Meleeing jad requires far more focus than basic prayer switching as it invovles prayer switching, potting, weapon switching and running/hiding all at the right moments.

construction servant help
You culd always try removing 1 bed/bedroom so that the servant "disappears" then rebuild so tht the servant returns. It might manage to break you out of the bug.

construction servant help
You'd be surprised these days a lot of people think the servant requirement is 2 bedrooms and dont bother building the beds. The actual requirement for a servant is 2 beds, it just so happens that getting 2 beds requires 2 bedrooms.
-
construction servant help
yeah i have the 2nd bedroom and have used the servant before but had a break from rs and back now, and just went to level up construction and this problem came along Yes you have the second bedroom but does it have a bed in it?
-
construction servant help
Odds are you have hired a servant but not placed 2 bedrooms WITH BEDS. As without this the servant will not appear.

Wow.
This shows you have very little understand of how the brain's psychology chooses to work. If someone lost their entire fortune, literally everything they had, because it was all in dollar bills and got burned up; then chose to kill themselves, many people would understand. So quitting a game after losing prized treasures is hardly strange, and in fact, is quite commonplace. Doesnt make it any less stupid though. Worthless coloured pixels in a game of some form that has no real values lose is meaningless comapred top actually losing real money that clothes you and feeds you and keeps a roof over your head

07-Dec-2010 - Tools for Clans {Developer Blog}
Praise be to High Lord Jamflex if I no longer have to brb, spend 15 minutes routing around staff forums on clan site to see what the current pass is to log on to a different account to do cc rank changes. Hopefully this clan list thing will be a case of anyone ranked above x can access it from their normal account (obviously monly when they r in tht chat thou)
-
Wow.
So power cut out, you lost a few pixels. Therefore this is reason to throw a strop and quit the game? Must remember that throwing a strop and quitting is the method for dealing with minor inconveniences these days. If I remembered that I culda quit uni months ago cause the bus was 2 minutes late!

stab or slash for my rapier
Aside from waterfiends and metal dragons satb/slash/crush doesnt really matter outside dungeoneering. Very few monsters have both a high enough level & a high enough difference in stab/salsh/crush defences for it to matter.

Dungeoneering XP formula
I don't understand how you can say there is no formula. From an obvious mathematical standpoint, if there were no formula to predict/calculate a value, it would have to be random, and i think we all pretty much know dungeoneering xp isn't given out at random. There is a formula, it is quite complex(has alot of variables), i don't know it, it is certainly not linear, most likely exponential or smth and if we had more data on it it wouldn't be tremendously hard to figure it out(i think we have some nice data about max prestige xp already). For your information, the formula for dragonkin lamps took quite long to figure out, first being proposed as level cubed divided by 20, then 20.2 and after a while(some weeks, i think a tip.it mod cracked it) we got to the exact formula(which i don't exactly remember). Another good example is the correlation between effigy droprate and combat level, which nobody at first thought were correlated. I'm quite sure the values for high level slayer monsters(and, for that matter, the xp per hit values on higher level monsters) are not random values but tied to some formula. Like I said could be arbitrarily chosen numbers. A jmod could of just sat and gone right floor 5, large lets give 10xp a room. Then you go do a floor 5 large with 30 rooms oh look 300 base xp!
-
Dungeoneering XP formula
Yeah slayer xp isn't really an example since all the numbers are known and the only correlation is that most monsters its lp/10 with the exception of boss type monsters where it is slightly different. It all suggests arbitarily choosen numbers to avoid over powering the skill. The same could be true for dungeoneering, it could literally just be arbitrarily chosen numbers with no real formula tying them together.

Dungeoneering XP formula
Well there are still some formulas that still need to be cracked or might have only recently been cracked. So I wouldn't be so quick to put it down. Care to give an example? I can't think of any undiscovered formulas to date.

Conquest - Void minigame
What obstacles you get thrown up can make all the difference too. A relatively clear field is a bit of a nightmare for distance attacking. While a lot of horizontal walls etc can make mages and archers darn hard to kill even while they are right up in the action.
-
Conquest - Void minigame
Depends on how good the person using them is, what commands thry got and whether you have rangers/mages. Hally kids r no problem for mages n rangers
-
Conquest - Void minigame
I always find a good tactic is when you can divide you're team into say two or three small units and split them up. Most people seem to opt for 1 solid tank unit that goes to pot once its divided. So by splitting up you either force them to spread and thus make them easy targets OR while they bear down on one group you can snipe them from the sides and behind. I took down a fair few teams that way

Dungeoneering XP formula
I don;t think dungeoneering particularly has a formula as such. If it did it would on no doubt been uncovered by now. as formulas to equate level to xp are generally pretty easy to crack. Prime example being shattered heart was cracked within a couple of hours.

Trading in Pouches
its basically alwasy worth trading them in. Very few pouches r worth more selling; including the "good" ones (uni, bunyip, fruit bat, pak yak etc)

Would Runescape still be here without Fan-sites?
Yeah fansites do not cause popularity popularity causes fansites Can fansites lead someone to a game, movie, tv show, book or w/e? yes they can but they do not account for the popularity of the item. They can only exist off the back of the items popularity. In this case I think its obvious that the fansites dont keep rs alive in that they all have quiet forums, less monthly hits and lower google rankings than the runescape stie itself.

Daily/weekly activities - really daily/weekly?
Lots of people do the daily and weekly activities. Not many do them ALL cause they do eat up alot of time. But the various free/cheap items make epic profits. The xp from circus, pengs etc all piles up.

Would you like to see GM driven events in Runescape?
I wouldn't like it. Runescape is all about choice of what you want to do, so much so that alot of players dont even read the news since 90% of updates dont alter their playing. It's jsut gonna cause mass chaos, rants etc if one day a host of skillers, questers or other general players are slaughtered and cannot safely get their stuff back from their graves because they didnt happen to read the news and know that a random city is gonna be flooded with monsters.

Graphics driver
We need to know what graphics card you have got before we can be remotely helpful here. Also note it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to have NO graphics driver at all, if this was the case your system would not be able to display anything. You must have an outdated driver or a generic driver that can't run your card properly.

Do no evil
Their projectile attack seems to be a mage/range hybrid that alters what is the main element sometimes. In all 3 fights I'd have protect mage on and (for the later 2 where ur out of melee range mostly) I'd take some damages in the 30 - 50 range. Then suddenly I'd be getting damage up into the mid 200s. At this point if I swapped to range protect the damage dropped to 30 - 50 again for a while. There didn;t seem to be any graphical indication of the change however.
