The hiscores are finally displaying my true dg xp. Indy is trying to add div to her hiscores, but seems to have a few kinks to work out atm :P -

If you value hunter xp, absolutely. At low levels up to 80, also absolutely just for the divination xp. Beyond that I haven't checked so not sure. Try to only catch the ones that come close (ideally within 3 tiles) to you. I cba to go and tele anymore, so I just collect them for the hunter xp and destroy them when I have 10 in my inv. Also @ Richard's situation. His first forum post since the sof I think. How2rank1 with good grace, some people could do with taking a few lessons maybe.

The heart issue is an underlying problem unrelated to the nolifing, was actually a stroke of luck that he had the paramedic check him out for the pain he had due to the nolifing (which was minor and harmless) and discover what appears to have been a long term irregularity.

This is nothing new. RS at the highest level has always been this competitive with new skills. The first few days of dg blew this out of the water in terms of lost sleep.

Insane And despite that, there's at least 2 non account sharers ahead of him. Dragonseance doesn't stand a chance any more, even if he stayed up for 72 hours for his next session the deficit is too large.

That also means that if you want to afk, the optimum group size is 4 - enough to fully boost the enriched spring, and minimizing the number of already partially drained springs.

Here's some basic info about springs I haven't seen posted yet. They have 3 stages. Stage 1: Big purple flame (Flame taller than spring) After a few xp drops this will disappear and a smaller purple flame will take its place Stage 2: Small purple flame (Flame smaller than spring) Stage 3: No flame Apaprently the number of people draining it has no effect, except for enriched nodes. It's useful when you first start draining a spring to check how long you can afk for based on the size/absence of the flame.

That is not true. If all those other maxed players also trained it legitimately, their achievement and your achievement means exactly the same whether you were the only one to do it or if 100k other people did it. You all put the same effort into it. Also relatively few people are actively training divination. I've barely been able to nolife it at all cause of more important RL stuff and still have a sub 1k rank. Once people start RWTing for 99, then it'll devalue it to the rest of the 99s.

Top 3 divination are all sub 600m overall xp. Just sayin'.

I would disagree. From my anecdotal experience in the game training on various worlds and at various spots, meeting lots of people, and discussions on various sites, the experience rates are deemed to be a problem. Most people find it to be horribly slow and tedious. I haven't heard much complaining about the training method, indeed, myself and others find the idea of switching spots to be refreshing. That's one of the few things that's good about this. Also, people don't like the fact that in addition to being so slow that the skill is not afk-friendly. That's a major problem. Idk if we're training the same skill. This is at least a pretty afk skill. One click every several seconds whilst gathering, then 20 seconds or so whilst converting memories. Also by level 85 divination is 60k/hr +. By 99 it will be at least 70k/hr+. That makes it faster than ZMI, pre eoc slayer and normal agility. I think some people on RS have just gotten too used to modern xp rates.

I think most of the current complaints have nothing to do with the xp rates, just the methods of training (or more accurately, method singular).

There's also the 15 thousand or so maxed players, many of whom will get 99 div just for their capes back, even if they don't like training the skill. I do like training the skill, so it makes no difference to me really.

Dragonseance is either not world hopping or sleeping atm... anyone know which? Not world hopping is significantly slower now the method has been determined precisely, so I'd assume sleeping?

Got to level 66/500k xp. Not sure if I'm going to do more today or not. They've done a warbands, and their 'fix' has made world hopping far faster xp/hr than it was before, as all the worlds are nicely spaced out now due to world lag or w/e and all the timings are known, so you can usually be in each world before the enriched spawns and get the whole wisp. The current rotation for the level 60-69 tier is world: 39->84->69->64, join wisp chat fc for more details. I'm out for now.

Not just Jebrim... It'll be nice to have a skill that's under 100k/hr again. As before divination, no skill was < 100k/hr at 99.

Having 100 people telling you which world to quick hop to for enriched energy doesn't hurt either. This is a collaborative effort everyone in the fc benefits from, not just suomi.

Well making a skill slow goes againt the recent trend of everything being ridiculously fast. This is a positive thing as far as I'm concerned, but you still have to ask why they reversed that trend. I am training divination to at least 99, so I still play.
