Complex things are always better than simple things. Except in the case of Quests. Elemental Workshop should never have existed. EOC really isn't so bad once you get to know it. I did around 10M slayer xp in the EoC (almost all of which was with ability rotations), as well as spending a couple of hundred hours (not exaggerating) perfecting and playing 1v1 PVP with abilities. I know the EoC better than most people, and still don't find it to be an enjoyable experience. Also the EoC is incredibly simplistic, not complex - it is objectively one of the least sophisticated examples of a combat system based around activated/sustained/passive abilities. I would also disagree that complexity is always better than simple things. Unnecessary complexity is almost always avoided, and in many cases reducing something to its simplest form is the most elegant and desirable outcome. Incidentally elemental workshop was one of my favourite questlines too ;p

Well G0d had his offence changed from macro goldfarm to macro and a 2 week ban - if Atticus was the same his wealth wouldn't come into it. Although I personally think neither player cheated and the change to a temp ban was just a JMod putting the decision off until someone could come in on Monday (today) who knows what they're doing and review the accounts.

Apparently Atticus Bird (sp?) was banned at the same time as G0d. Someone at Jagex has a vendetta against EE :P

Yes, I agree. If you read what I say "Obviously this is stupid..." "It's also stupid..." it was just some people were mistakenly saying that it was against the rules, which I was correcting. There are few players who have hit the top page and made their money 'honestly', and many of them have done far worse than do shoutouts, so if you want to have a go at someone for their money making method, you're missing the forest for the trees by having a go at Alkan.

I wish I could sell my spins. I have 50 from doing daily challenges sitting waiting to be used. That is stupid, if there also had to be sale of the real world service then that would be like paying a youtuber rsgp in order for him to sell you a shoutout for dollars. Why would the rule require a player to pay the youtuber in both currencies? I was just quoting the rules Bxpprod got from the site. The rules state that only real world sales of services (I.e. taking dollars for services, not in game gp) is RWT. Obviously this is stupid because RWT is so prevalent it is actually easier to convert RSGP into real world currency than it is to convert between real world currencies. It's also stupid that a RWT rule exists since RWTscape. But if you care what Jagex write in their rules anymore, then taking shoutouts for RSGP isn't technically against the rules.

He is offering a service for RSGP. He is not offering real world money for it. Unlike, for example, stating on public forums that you went and got a job and used the wages to buy RSGP, as it is more efficient than earning gp in game. That would fall under the RWT rule. Not that any top players would do that!

Geel is Host Bart, currently highest ranked dice prod (who diced on his main and not alts at least). Also almostlost made a couple B staking. I believe paperbag staked also. I remember him getting cleaned at least. And crystalfarm got loans when he didn't have the gp to take advantage of stuff like BXP and paid the loans back when the gp wasn't as useful to him. Oh and carcass multilogs 07 for eoc gp too.

I played it whilst it was fun. RS in 2011 was a fantastic game and one I am glad to have played. After that I only really played because I had already done 90% of the time needed for max, so figured I might as well finish. Sitting on 4.8B atm, but literally cannot be [bleep]ed training even buyables. Jagex is actually doing something about goldfarmers, so that should become more valuable soon at least. When I consider how much I enjoyed slayer and combat pre eoc compared to now, it depresses me. I figure the release of RS3 is a good cutoff point for me. So I stopped playing.

Banned for macro goldfarming, although the way they applied the bans (6 Perm bans in one day) makes it likely to be the bot system demonstrating how terrible it is v7845. [19:52:51] <%G0d_vs_D3vil> i didnt used anything lol [19:52:57] <%G0d_vs_D3vil> banned for gold macro [19:52:58] <%G0d_vs_D3vil> farm

Ty for pointing that out!

Use a strange token on the smuggler. Not sure for the medium/hard/elite tasks though.

Speaking of one hitting... They're berserked assaults ya. Although you can hit 7k+ with a berserked sever too L. -

With the extra damage from torva plate/legs/boots/gloves you can probably 1 hit them. -
Drumgun has at least the CW requirement done, and would obviously be the highest ranked trimmed player if/when he does the rest.

The guy wanted it to stake. Lots of people still do chaotic rapier stakes instead of drygores. 150M was not a significant amount of money to this particular fellow ;) -
Right now it looks like they're just making everything so fast that people get through the low and medium levels without realizing how terribly designed (and utterly useless) skills like smithing are. I would love smithing to be more like Skyrim, where you can upgrade your gear based on your smithing level. We've long moved past the point where 'non combat' skills don't affect combat anyway with herblore - and rightly so. Even 10 years ago, the idea that you need level 99 smithing to create level 40 equipment should have set some alarm bells ringing...

Has anyone else been having a lot of problems with the game?

Gotta love keying for leeches that pay 10M/floor, dont want a refund when the world dc's, and don't care for bonus %. We did like 15 to get him a rapier but only pic'd first two. -
I don't see why experienced players looking at the game differently ought to prevent them from giving feedback on the low/medium levelled game. Also there are low levelled experienced players. My younger brother has been playing on/off for over 8 years and is barely 1.8k total level. But he's vastly more experienced with the game than most maxed players.
