Something stackable i can train with anywhere (like alching)
That is a very good idea Here are some more ive come up with. Fill your invo and a BOB with cheese wheels and cut them (cooking xp) Fill a gem bag with saphires/emeralds, cut them, and then alch/drop the results (Expensive crafting xp) OR cut diamonds/rubys and make bolt tips Team up with someone to Get cbt xp on there familiars (both come with an invo of pouches and just kill each others follower) I'm really looking for something i can do for hours at a time without banking so these don't really work for me. And i believe you get the same xp for using a special scroll that you do for summoning a familiar, so it would be much better to just use a familiar with an infinitely usable special (like uni) but cheaper, more xp, and preferably less summoning special per use.

I'd have to bank every 27 papayas though so it's not very good for there... I just looking into it and Spike shot scroll costs 9gp and gives 4.1 summoning xp though... It's a special attack so i can just use it on the opponent while i kill him... :P

Thanks very much for this! Any idea how long the skull's cooldown is before getting xp? From the sounds of it, it's not built for gaining xp, so i'm guessing something unusable like 30 minutes... I could be wrong though. And if you do find more i'd appreciate it :)

Something stackable i can train with anywhere (like alching)
Hey, i'm busy boosting kills at fight caves to get the minigame bodies and i have a LOT of free time doing nothing. I notice many players alch here, i'm 99 magic, others fletch bolts and arrows, i'm 99 fletching. What else is there i can do similar to those two? If there isn't anything good i may just alch for profit/200m xp but i'm hoping there something for crafting or whatever i'm not thinking of because i hate wasting time.

Best Aura
Well seeing as everything but wisdom is purchasable now... Does anyone know if Equilibrium effects korasi's sword special? I think it will be pretty amazing having a guaranteed 300-530 special. Vamprisim vs Penance for bossing? Do these significantly reduce the need for food/pots anywhere? Greater sharpshooter increases accuracy by 5%... Does that mean your 50% accuracy is now 55% or 52.5%? Would inspiritation increase your kills per hour significantly anywhere? Does greater posion purge work on K'ril?

value of time?
When calculating your value of time for something like an expensive vs cheap method, you use whatever you do for making the money back. So if you were seeing is red chins are worth using over grey chins, you'd value glacors as thats your main money maker, and see if it covers the difference. You could value slayer in this, but you're also getting slayer xp which you value, so it may or may not be worth it, even if the coins gained/lossed is worse. Sorry for the confusing reply to a confusing post.

Notification when someone responds in a thread i have commented in
Thanks for the help guys. I feel dumb now. :P Care to explain what 'inline' and 'personal conversation' are though? I just want it to tell me when someone replies to me on the site, i don't want to be emailed or anything...

Notification when someone responds in a thread i have commented in
Hi. I'm fairly new to the forums and have been enjoying the runescape discussion, but it's a bit of a pain when i don't know when someone replies to me or even not to me, but in a thread i'd like to discuss about. This means i have to look at all my old posts to check for replies, and most of them have none. If this was implemented i think people would use the forums a lot more, as they can discuss and know the people they're talking to will see their post, and then know when to check for their reply.

Black Comedy songs?
Tim Minchin is a wonderful comedy writer. Amature Transplants are a very funny duo, mainly popular songs with funny lyrics. Axis of awesome are humourous and awesome. I have a lot more but none of them are coming to mind for some reason, i may come back to this thread later when i rememeber... For now, check out tim minchin, he's amazing.

Weapon for frosts besides rapier?
What did you spend your 300k tokens on? If you have a CLS, that would be better than the below. Korasis sword with d defender is almost EXACTLY as good as zamorakian spear, it's quite creepy. So either of those would be fine. And don't listen to the guy above me, with your stats you will easily be able to kill a frost before consuming a monkfish of health, so you'll still be capable of filling your inventory with loot in much less time, and actually having to drop a few food to make room. (Hell, you might even be capable of soulsplit flicking and not bringing food at all) If you're new to the new frosts theres really only one important message. If they start to glow blue, just stop attacking. Spend this time to sort out your inventory and BoB and pick up loot, because if you attack, you will take a lot of damage. Always bring a cannon by the way, despite what people think, your cannon does NOT damage you when they glow blue as long as you are not attacking them at that time. This will speed up your killrate considerabley. Wear good melee armour and pray magic at all times.

So what's the basics of soloing the king black dragon?
You want magic defense there. Dhide would be a good cheap method, elite void would be better. KBD has really high defense and anything other than a rapier will have really bad DPS on it. If you don't have a rapier i'd suggest a CLS > Whip > Brackish blade I can see you do not have 85 herblore for super antifires, this is going to make it more difficult. Bring an antifire shield and antifire potions instead. You have very low prayer which also sucks for you. Protect from melee at all times the dragon is alive, and also pray 15% strength and 15% attack. Because you don't have access to soulsplit, a BoB for more food, or a uni for healing would be very useful to prolong your trip. Bring a dragon dagger for special, as the dragon is weak to stab attacks, and dragon dagger is really powerful and cheap. Bring 1 antipoison as he has a poison attack. Bring 1 super strength 1 super attack, to help you kill him much faster. Bring a few prayer potions to restore your prayer when it falls. Bring a lot of food.

Need someone to help me get a screenshot
Whats it for? Because i can't think of a single place in runescape where Master Wand > SoL

grey chins, yay or nay
I've already spoken to you on a number of occasions now, telling you to go do your research before you keep on posting DPS information. Because you're wrong, a lot of time time, by a huge margin, for reasons that I cannot attribute to simple typos into a calculator because you rare explain your calculations. Normally I wouldn't care if a DPS person didn't give calculations or not. Like in this case, I'd brush this off as "oh, whoever did this is probably just using experimental data instead of looking at a max hit calculator" But you get the calculations wrong so often that at this point, that I pretty much have to assume you messed up a calculation somewhere. It's been several months since this started. At first I was nice and I gave you links to places to read up on. But you told me that you were lazy and you were just gonna "extrapolate" from tip.it's calculator without understanding how DPS actually works. But, laziness is not a good excuse to give false information to other people asking for help. I also did the same calcs for a week ago, and i got a breakoff income of 1.3 mil gp/hour. Seriously, get your act together. Oh my bad. I actually assumed you used 1500 chins an hour because i'm dumb and thought that was the rapid speed for both. Which just makes me even more wrong. Oh dear. :P (Warning, i clearly suck at calculations so this is probably wrong.) I got my calculation from pretty much other peoples guesswork, reds being 256xp a shot, greys being 191xp a shot. (Average from training 80-99) Reds were 465gp each, greys were 228gp each. 512k xp vs 382k xp 930k gp vs 456k gp 130xp for 474gp (amount of extra xp an hour, and the extra cost) 11m/512k = 21.4 hours (total xp from 80-99 divided by xp/h of reds) 11m/382k = 28.8 hours (total xp from 80-99 divided by xp/h of greys) 7.4 * 474kgp = 3.5m (Time saved and the extra cost of it) So you save 3.5m for 7.4 hours, ending up needing 474k/hour to make the excess money back. That's just pure and simple. You spend 3.5m and save 7.4 hours. For it to be better efficiency in the way i'm assuming you calculated it (382/130)*474 you'd need to make 1.4m/hour, but i really don't understand whats wrong with the above and would really appreciate it if you or someone else could explain why 474k/hour is wrong in this example.

Jagex Is Not Done Yet With Its Anti-Bot Efforts
I'd just like to say, i really like the 'xp per rune crafted' idea and was gobsmacked when it wasn't implemented from day 1. It's kinda silly that you get the same experience at level 1 for crafting 1 air rune, that you get for crafting 10 at level 99. I think xp rates would need to be changed slightly, so 10 air runes isn't significantly more experience than 2 nature runes for example, but it's a great idea.

grey chins, yay or nay
Yeah, even if you only have a karils body deflector is still much better than void body and unholy book. Hell, even dhide is a lot better.

Ranged Training
I don't understand why you dislike ape atol. Even if you're incredibley bad and inefficient at it, you'll get 99 range in less than 20 hours gametime... Or you can grind some dragons with a crossbow and take 100 hours. So yeah. Stop being silly and do ape atol.

F2p Ranged training?
Addy arrows are not worth using if you're F2P unless you're some sort of mercher, there simply isn't a way to make good money that justifies using them. With the bots dead, maybe f2p will finally get a little more profitable though (Although i imagine addy bars/arrowtips/arrows are also going to shoot up in price too...)

Jagex Is Not Done Yet With Its Anti-Bot Efforts
I really hope they make agility for example the same xp/hour rate, but make it more challenging or fun to do to lessen the grind, and not just cop out with a high xp method which means you grind.. But for not as long.
-
grey chins, yay or nay
I did the maths about a week ago and greys are worth using if your income is 600k/hour or less. Prices have changed significantly since then though so that may not be accurate. Looking at your levels, you should be capable of making that easily at TDs or another boss.

Jagex Is Not Done Yet With Its Anti-Bot Efforts
With bots gone runecrafting is likely to go back to crappy xp, but epic money. (relative to now) You'll not enjoy training it, but your bank will.

F2p Ranged training?
Shortbow on rapid with steel or mithril arrows is the best. If you're poor, use the sling (It's just a little worse than bronze arrows, but 100% free) 1-5 sling 5-20 oak shortbow - steel arrows 20-30 willow shortbow - mithril arrows 30+ maple shortbow - mithril arrows Killing barbarians in the barbarian pub is good xp, and you never take any damage as you hide behind tables.

Is Runescape slowly not becoming a game?
Runescape is a pretty boring movie. You load up the bot and hit play.

Dungeoneering players
I heard you like rants so i put a rant in your rant so now you can rant while you rant. Everyone that isn't me is awful and should spend some time and effort not being awful and being more like me. ... I wish i was being cute, but that is really how i feel. I've never been on a team where i didn't feel like i did most of the work and wasn't waiting on others to do vital things (Not while they do oher useful things, that would be fine, while they afk, or make a prom hatchet so they can cut those grave trees to make a longbow for the boss we havn't reached that may or may not need range. THOSE guys.) I mainly dungeon with my friends now, and they're great people and for the most part a lot better than randoms, but they're still bloody useless. Oh and OP, i disagree with everything you have said. If i'm dungeoning with randoms i don't want to hear about their epic pk trip while we mine gorg ore so we all have some gauntlets to keep our hands warm, i want to finish the dungeon so i can move onto something more enjoyable, like watching paint dry. The reason random teams don't work like the 'pros' is because people like you are holding them back with your 'Oh i know this isn't the most efficient thing to do but...' NO. Just help me clear this GD so we can get on with our lives. (I do dungeon for fun sometimes, but theres a time and a place, don't hold the people in 117 looking for fast experience/tokens back.)

Will there be a crash tomorrow?
Every bot related item is rising because merchers think they'll make profit from bottable skills when the bots are gone. If the bots are gone. When the bots come back in a day or two, everything is going to crash hard. You people have way too much confidence in jagex...
