Well, in that case, you'd be able to be completely honest with this other person about all your insecurities and worries and negativity. And they'd relate with you because they'd know how it feels. And then you both could learn to be more optimistic together. :thumbup:

I'm a guy with a very smartass personality. But not in a bad way. I'll try to explain with a little event that occurred yesterday with a friend of mine (who also has this kind of personality; that's why we're roommates). We're driving in his small truck and we turn to go into a parking lot. This guy gets in front of us to go further into the parking lot, and he has these crazy tattoos and this huge handlebar mustache and a bandana on. Me and my friend love to overreact, so even though he's probably 10 yards in front of us, my friend slams on the breaks and we both freak out and jump around in the car. At one point, I started to crawl out the window. This was in a public parking lot with people around. And I was yelling at him, "Turn around, turn around!!!" Now that I've written that, it doesn't sound nearly as funny as it was. Guess you had to be there. EDIT: What happens when I come home from house sitting and decide to browse these forums. It's funny, because the 'cents' sign goes after whatever number you use. For example, 20¢. American currency is weird, just like the language it uses.

It's the funnest thing for me that I've ever done. And I've put in the effort to get rather good at it (dancing on it, etc). It isn't really hard as long as you have some sort of balance. Be wary of speed wobble, though. :) Eventually I want to get to the point where I'm posting videos and pictures of me just doing tricks and sliding.

I have an urge to buy RS membership, just for something to do. But then, I tell myself, "You can go read, or play the xbox, or go ride your longboard. Why waste $5 or so?" If it was a bit cooler outside and I hadn't taken a shower an hour ago, I'd go for a ride.

Right, I'm not disagreeing with that. Just pointing out there there are relationships on RS, quite a few if you count ones that aren't really super serious. I, personally, think they're rather trivial and that someone should focus more on their real life relationships if they're looking for one that will grow into something more.

How would what work? If you mean RS relationships, I've known of plenty. I've seen two people actually get married after meeting through RS.

Hakaan, I have a similar problem with negativity about how I'm doing in a relationship with a girl. I never think things are going well, and because of this I'm always worried. You just have to do your best to shirk the negativity. And if a girl blocks ya, forget them. If they don't like you for who you are, and if they're unwilling to talk with you, then you shouldn't be trying to force it to work. Because that'll make you even more frustrated. Best of luck.

I [bleep]ing hate Jersey Shore. Woke up this morning, my dad needed his car and I was house sitting somewhere else. Drove over as fast as I could, but he had already just decided to take his motorcycle. Found out I was locked out of the house. He told me thanks for bringing the car back, so I thought if I waited long enough, he'd come back home, pick it up, and let me in the house before he went to his meeting. I didn't want to drive the car back to the other house to get my keys, because it'd be a [cabbage] show if he came back to pick up the car and it wasn't there. So I ended up walking all the way back to the other house (my toe was killing me the whole time), found out I was locked out of that house. Called me little sister, who came and let me in cause she was sleeping inside. Finally got home. :\ Was a beautiful morning, though.
