  3. o.O :P I'd say as long as More Developed Counties and Lower Developed Counties learn to help each other out without jeopardizing their ability to survive/be independent, then all cultures are going to mash eventually.

Two slices of wheat toast. Buttered. Then, in a small cup, mix sugar and cinnamon until it's a light brown powerder, sprinkle over toast. That's what I've eaten every morning of the summer. Not a big morning eater. In other news, my mom's been slacking on dinner. And it's getting annoying. She's home all day, and then she throws leftovers on the table (from like a week ago, they've been frozen since then), saying she was rushed... :(

I hadn't thrown up in like, 7 years. But throwing up at college brought back all the bad memories of that one year when I threw up probably every other day (not even joking). And I [cabbage] my pants a lot, too. My body was like, "F uuuu" for a whole year. EDIT: Gotta love being an Off-Topic [bleep]. :3

Yikes. Throwing up is probably the worst feeling to me, ever. I grew up with a stomach problem and threw up a lot, and just the thought of it makes me anxious. I got sick from drinking one night and I can't drink hard alcohol anymore. I'm always scared of getting the flu because I don't know if I'd be able to handle throwing up again. Let's hope you don't experience it too much within these next few days. And hopefully the medication actually works.

Kinda building on what I said earlier, if I was an employer, I'd be stuck in a pickle, tbh. I may trust them, but I'm sure a lot of people around me wouldn't. And if I would have management breathing down my back (with the possibility of being fired), I don't know if I would do it. If there was an equally qualified candidate who didn't do heroin applying for the same job, I would probably hire him/her; the main reason being to avoid getting myself in a mess because of the stigma (and because I could never be sure if this fellow/gal wouldn't relapse or anything). Yes, it doesn't make much sense. Heroine just has a terrible reputation that I don't think will be going away any time soon, despite controlled users. And I doubt many people would risk their own reputation/job just to show that they are higher than the stigma.
  8. I hate that. But despite how much I hate it, I'd always been down for getting things done in the early morning rather than waiting until the afternoon (i.e. having an early morning sports practice instead of one at like, 7pm). In college, I hate waking up early every time I do, but then I just tell myself I'd rather wake up early than have classes all evening.

Today, work from 7:30 until around 3:00. My manager is taking me out to lunch... That'll be interesting. He's going to ask questions that I hate answering and that I'll have to bs (since I only have a week left in my internship). Stuff like, "What did you learn? Is there anything else you'd want to do before you left?" etc. :\ After that, I'm heading to these hydroplane races on the banks of the river here. It's a huge event. Should be fun.
  10. Don't worry about it, I'm perfectly sane.
  11. Vietnow - Rage Against the Machine Some good [cabbage] there.
  12. That's what it looks like. The boards were down, else I would've posted yesterday. And it was just coincidence that he posted a few seconds before I did, because I had that "Congratz on Eclipse" already typed out and everything in my post, and then I posted it and saw he had posted. I had been stalking him since I saw that he was 10k away from leveling (checking if he was playing, etc.) So yes, I was stalking, and this post makes me sound like a straight creeper now. I just thought it would be funny for him to find someone gratzing him on leveling on here.

I wake up at 6 am every morning, and I've kinda gotten used to it, but that's because I've decided to go to bed early. I'm not a morning person. I'm actually thinking about using it to my advantage, though, during this last month of summer. I may just continue waking up early and exercises in the morning so that I keep the sleep schedule while avoiding the crazy heat during the day. It'll also be nice because then it won't be such a huge change for when I have to wake up early for college classes. Actually, I'll probably get to consider myself sleeping in during college, haha. Yah, I've thought it through quite a bit...

Well, it's like, 9:15 and I'm bored as hell. I guess I'll just read for 45 minutes and then go to bed. I feel like I'm in middle school, going to bed early every night cause I have to wake up early. It's summer, I should be stayin up late and sleeping in. :\
  15. The Adjustment Bureau. I'd say it was okay. I kinda thought it was just trying to copy that whole 'crazy mess with your brain' type style that Inception had. Inception, I think, did a better job of it. So, 3/5. Wasn't a waste of my time, though. Was mildly enjoyable. I didn't have anything else to do tonight.

I like the simplicity of it. And the colors are really cool. Super neat, ya did good.

Haha, you had to have seen it coming. Just reason with them and say you were trying to get your name to be "WalMartGetsMeHardColdCash" cause you work there, but there wasn't enough room. Then it'd be their fault.

Some of the most simplistic yet skilled grip-taping I've seen. It's an art. My idea: Heh.

Sure thing. I'd be cautious. 1) Because I wouldn't be able to get a guarantee that they wouldn't fall back on the drug and end up letting it affect their work life. 2) Even if they were controlled, I'd still be cautious because I'd be curious as to why they feel like the need to do the drug. Have they experienced issues in the past which have caused them to occasionally become unstable at times, and therefore resorted to using the drug to make themselves feel happy, relaxed? My question would be something like that to them. There could be other issues (no, I am not saying all heroin users have issues). I know it's extremely analytic, and I'd probably just get a "because it feels good" response. I'm sure an interviewee wouldn't come out and tell me their life problems.

Then use idyllic. Enough said. 1.Inclined toward or suggestive of the feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love - a romantic candlelit dinner There's a reason the above definition is the first, and yours is third. People think of the above definition when they hear romantic. I doubt many first think of the one you quoted. Not my fault.
  21. The ends never justify the means. Keyword: justify.
  22. When I was really young, I saw a marker on the ground and randomly decided to scibble all over a lamp. I then went directly to my parents and told them my little brother had done it. And he totally got in trouble for it. That is the only thing I've ever done with the sole purpose and intent to get someone in trouble (no other motives; he hadn't been annoying me or anything).
  23. Speaking of food: The heartburn you get after eating flaming hot cheetos or jalepeno chips. Even when it's been 24 hours since I ate them, I still get it.
  24. It is in my book because it isn't a one time thing. I do it multiple times per day, for probably (at least at this time) a set of 5-6 people.
  25. Duff replied to a post in a topic in Off-Topic
This statement's purpose really couldn't have been anything else besides a jab at me. I mean, really, 'how romantic'? The rest of your post was blunt, but very true. Anyway, Yes. And perhaps I misused 'stigma'. Maybe I should have used 'generalization' when speaking about the recent posts in this thread.
