  1. @ Overdoziz Jealous. If you're at 50k kills and have a 1.89 k/d, you can afford to fool around. You could possible even still do good messing around. I watched a youtube video of one pro (may have been Walshy) who was just messing around being chased by a noob on Boardwalk and after everything just no-scoped the kid. I'm in a dilemma. Should I play a lot and get better so that I can improve (but suffer the effects on my k/d of not being very good now), or not play at all. Only, I'm not sure if playing a lot of games will help me get better. I love Reach. I just wish I was good at it. D: Is your gt your forum name? -stalks- Edit: @Zierro Any tips on how to improve helping teammates? Cause I've watched youtube videos of pros, and I've tried to imitate their "help" tactics, but people always accuse me of being a kill stealer. I mean, traveling a map by yourself isn't smart, right? You should stick with your team.
  2. I see what you did there. Edit: Confession/Secret or whatever: I'm a virgin. Does that quote make more sense now, Giordano? :x
  3. Harry Potter 6. Had seen all of them except that one. Not big into that type of fiction. My sister did tell me that eventually Snape dies. That pissed me off. Dumbledore, Harry, Ron, Ginny, anyone but Snape. He's just so dark and does whatever the hell he wants. Probably the only character I like. (Notice I didn't say Hermione. She's kind of a babe.)
  4. Not a big fan of Infection. Frustrating when a dude is just camped up in that corner on swordbase where you can only use the vertical man-cannon to get there. Yah yah, I know it's strategic and may be how you're supposed to play the game, but it's just dumb. Not very fun. Also, wish I had never been introduced to K/D. I haven't played Reach in weeks because I get all nervous and antsy about lowering my K/D. Debating on making a new account where I can just mess around on. But I'm not sure that will work. Wish I was Brigadier rank so I could at least use my credits and buy the armor I want... I hate looking noobish. D: Also, I found out that a lot of high ranked players who are well known on HaloCharts credit boosted (Oni Sword Base mission, designator weapon). :\ I am very tempted to credit boost to Brigadier just to buy my stuff (at this moment, I have all the credits I need, just not the rank).

My college has a pool with 5 lanes for laps. Freshman year I didn't utilize it much because I couldn't do flip-turns, and figured only the kids who were really good at swimming used the pool. But I found it that's not the case, so I've planned to make it a habit to swim for exercise everyday when I get back to college. I sure hope it does me good.

When I graduated from high school, I had the mindset that I would never drink an alcoholic drink because I didn't want to get drunk and do something really stupid (have sex, for example). This carried into my first semester of college, where I was always sober at the parties. I didn't have much fun. Now, I am perfectly fine with it. I can't drink hard alcohol anymore (not even mixed drinks) because one night I almost blacked out, and woke up the next morning at 5 am and threw up until noon (and I was still pretty drunk). It's odd if I don't have beer in my mini-fridge at school. Of course, I still never drink to the point of blacking out, because that isn't very fun imo. My only problem with alcohol is when [wagon]es drink so much and then throw up in my hall, or get belligerent and break [cabbage] that I eventually have to partially pay for/deal with. Oh, and when chicks that aren't attractive at all and who are annoying sober drink a [cabbage] ton and become 1000 times worse. It's even more unbearable when they start getting all touchy with you.
  7. Even though Harry Potter does not interest me in the least, I'm thinking about reading all the books in August, all because the girl I really like was horrified that I hadn't. She also made me promise to skip at least one class next year at college. I'm not big into skipping classes. But there was no arguing when she said, "Do it for me." -whuuuuupaaaash- I'm whipped and I'm not even dating her.
  8. I have, many times, wished I lived the life of a Hobbit. Imagine just drinking, farming, and laying around in such a kick ass place...all the time.
  9. Hah, that's funny. Very jealous. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't listening to that exact song right at this moment.
  10. Tell me about it, dude. Those eyes'll getcha.
  11. Woah, that's sweet! Does he ever come back to say hi? Haha ------------------------ December Hunting for Vegetarian [bleep]face - Stars of the Lid.

Thinking about getting a Loaded Dervish. Been working a lot, so I can afford it. Just wondering if it will be worth it, since I only get about 2 months out of the school year to ride it cause of weather. So, maybe wait until next summer before buying one? Too bad this thread is kinda dead. :\ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMLFZcONQAs
  13. When my roommate uses my hand towel to wipe his mouth after he brushes his teeth. I love drying my clean hands on his saliva/toothpaste. >.>
  14. Diesel, is your signature the lead singer of The National? I'm pretty sure it's him. Apartment Story - The National. They're fantastic.

Just bought a skate helmet to wear while shredding the streets. Actually, I don't shred. How long has everyone here been skating? I've been doing it for over a year, but mostly just casual cruising. I want to start learning tricks on my board, mainly the whole stepping over the foot, spinning around stuff, though. Anyone here got any tips for learning that stuff?
  16. Notes in Constellations - Chiodos. I confess, it's from a Halo Reach montage, but it's still pretty badass.
  17. She's from DeviantArt. She damn well looks like a model.

Went out and bought a pretty sick skating helmet. Currently interested in the ice cube in my glass of water making farting noises.
  19. Wow, you're right. I like her so much that's it's making me too afraid to cross boundaries. I just gotta man up. Plus, she knows I don't like talking on the phone, so I guess that'd be good to show her; that I'm willing to talk on the phone with her. Thanks dude. I'll post back with an update later.
  20. I'd be more willing to use a voice call if I was more sure she was interested. Texts are pretty informal and just polite, which is the level I see us on. I'm way to scared to jump to the next level, scared of frightening her off. Anyway, thought I should come back and tell you all how it went. In part: wonderful; in the other, disastrous. We talked for five hours straight pretty much. That's where it was wonderful. It was disastrous because we didn't address the issue. I was enjoying us just telling each other about life and college and random things, enjoying it so much that I didn't want to ruin fun and happy conversations with a most likely serious and awkward one. So, I didn't say a word of what I had planned on saying... I left her house quite happy with her company, though. Guess it's postponed for a later date now. :x
  21. Modest Mouse is one of those bands who has songs I really like and others where I'm just like, "What the hell is going on right now?" Are you a person who thinks Sun Kil Moon's cover of Modest Mouse's Tiny Cities Made of Ashes sucks? Or have you ever listened to those songs?
  22. You don't have to agree with me. I find it annoying. And personally, I think drinking, clubbing, and lifting weights after graduating from a college prep school is a waste. He's your typical [wagon] tool who barely graduated and just tries to hook up with girls and show himself off. And I'm not jealous cause "he's hench". I'm bigger than he is. He's just scrawny, so you can see muscle definition. I have no need to be jealous. Had a feeling at least one person would accuse me of that.

  24. Let's reverse the roles. What would you do if an extremely well-figured woman stripped in front of you and a bunch of guys at a party? You'd oggle and stare just the same ;) Just delete him from Facebook and stop partying with him. I'm not entirely sure a guy taking his shirt off has nearly the same oggling effect on girls that a stripping girl has on guys. As much as I appreciate your advice, I could have easily come up with solutions myself. Just sharing something that pisses me off. I'm capable of preventing it happen. EDIT: I may as well say this, too. I hate the word "hella."
  25. @Crusty Nah, this specific kid is a straight up tool. Ever since he graduated from my high school, all he's done is lifted weights, gone to clubs, and worked at a convenience store (not to mention his frequent facebook status posts: "gettin mah swell on, hella;" "swellin on the fourth, hella." You get the picture). I guarantee he wants to just show off his body in front of all the girls there, and they're too drunk to see right through him. @Standard I don't dig the girls at these parties. I show up to be polite, since I did go to high school with them
