  1. Incubus is one of the craziest bands I've ever heard. It's musical genius, to be honest. Different tempos for the vocals, guitars, and drums, yet they sound so freakin good together.
  2. @Dizzle: I admit, I'd rather be given a week to do a one-day assignment than the other way around. :P

Congratulations, dude! Go have some fun!
  4. When I play Black Ops, this is all I play.
  5. I read that book in high school. I forgot most of it, though. I actually enjoy reading fiction for school. It's better than reading non-fiction, in my opinion. Much more interesting. Currently analyzing/reading A Doll House in English. Bleh.
  6. Sorry Aeon and Over. I usually just watch some gameplays before classes to kill time. :P
  7. Listening to some Pretty Lights. Downloaded them on my computer before college and never got to listen to it. It's good pick-me-up music, and it's even better since I haven't heard any of these songs before.
  8. Just thought I'd post this because it was really odd and kinda funny. Caught me off guard. Text from my ex (it's been a few months since we last talked): "Hey bub, it's [name]. That girl that you once loved? ...ring a bell? :) I saw a Portland marathon finisher shirt and thought of ya. Hope everything is going well! Miss ya." The first part is the weird part.

I just realized how hard of a time I have writing the name 'Aristotle' down in handwriting.
  10. Not really here to argue with you, but I doubt my little kids are going to be subjected to evil, violent, racist cowboys while they're young. And in my opinion zombies, demons, vampires have more of a negative connotation to their characters (that's assuming you see 'cowboy' as having an inherently negative connotation to it at all, which I don't).
  11. I'd rather have my kid's imagination pointing towards astronauts/cowboys instead of blood sucking/cannibalistic/satanic characters. :\

Why did the boys get baked beans instead of cake mix? What are they trying to say/hint at?!
  13. I guess since it's Halloween I'll say how much I dislike the horror and scariness of it. I went to a costume place the other day and it was filled with zombie babies eating brains and holding decapitated heads. That shit just grosses me out. I'm never going to be a parent who gets that seriously into the horror and macabre of Halloween. I'll let my kids dress up, but not as demons, vampires, zombies, etc. Plus, I don't really want to scare my children like that. You can disagree, obviously. :P

I saw the picture of that Pumpkin Pi, and it was wonderful. Impressed you got 2nd place for the simplicity. :P Oddly enough, one of the kids at my old high school posted a picture of one of those.

It's a school night, so I'm not doing anything at all. Already had my fun on Friday (kinda; it wasn't actually a whole lot of fun). I think if you don't want to hand out candy, put a sign on your door (or just leave the house). As a kid, I never thought bad of anyone who didn't answer their door/give me candy.
  16. Oh, I think I understand now. So basically you have to complete 60 waves in one Firefight game? That sounds extremely... Challenging.
  17. Grace Is Gone - Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds (Live At Radio City) I'll never get over Dave.
  18. Is that just a standard co-op game of firefight (assuming you finish it)?
  19. I don't completely understand the weekly challenge. What does it mean by 'sets'?

I remember I had a grand old time as a middle school-er writing fictional stories. They were mainly medieval fiction, though, and lacked a lot of substance, haha.
  21. Illuminate My Heart, My Darling! - Yndi Halda Especially the little part after 7:35.
  22. I think it's better than throwing them carelessly on another washer/dryer so that they air dry and get all smelly. Eh, oh well.
  23. I found it, thank God. I went back down there and looked behind the dryer and it was there. The [wagon] who threw my wet clothes on top of a dryer (which was empty, by the way) must've been careless. But seriously, there's an open dryer, why not put the stuff in there and start it for me at least? I never take someone's stuff out of a washer if there isn't a dryer to put it in. Meh.
  24. Losing a sock. Especially at college, where kids take clothing that isn't theirs from the laundry room (or throw it in the trash).
