It was so much easier wearing uniforms to school, haha. I loved not having to worry about what I wore. All through high school my clothes consisted of khakis and school shirts (we basically got a shirt for each sport we played and every club we were in, every year). So I was set. But when I got to college, I knew that wouldn't work. So, I'm slowly rebuilding my wardrobe. It's pretty bad at this point, though. My roommate buys shirts left and right because his parents give him money all the time. I'm on a budget so I can't be too spendy. Maybe if I get around to it I'll make a list of what I have.

You just reminded me that I had a dream about a homework assignment. It dealt with derivatives, and the teacher explained that to solve the problem, we just had to find where the function was at it's highest value; for some reason, everyone else didn't think my way of doing it (derivative, set to zero, etc) was the correct way; I started doubting it myself, and then there was an issue with the calculator we were using. And I woke up and was thinking for the longest time, "That calculator had to have been malfunctioning." Then I realized it had been a dream, and was like, "Why am I even worrying about it?"

I had to deal with that Runescape stuff all during first semester freshman year (when I played). I didn't do any monster hunting because of the people always walking in, so it became way less fun for me. I guess it helped me quit. But there was a period of time where I logged on after every class for 15 minutes to do a farming run, just because I wanted to make at least 100m by bonus exp weekend (I was successful). Halo is different in ways, though, cause I can't run to a safe spot and log out, and then log back in and continue what I was doing. Twice last night I had to just stop playing cause everyone was just talking to me, asking me why I wasn't going out, touching me (they were all drunk, so they were all hugging and shit). :\

Last night I read the whole play A Doll House (until 1:15am). Friends went out to a party, so I planned on spending the evening messing around on Halo. But one of them came back and asked to play Call of Duty. I decided that instead of browsing the internet for hours until my friends came back and it was bedtime, I'd do the reading instead (which is a ridiculous reading to be assigned on Halloween weekend). I'm happy I finished it, though, because I don't have to worry about it today. Instead, I get to worry about 57 pages of philosophical poetry, which I dunno if I'll be able to keep my eyes open during (On the Nature of Things by Lucretius). I'm just hoping we don't have a quiz on it on Monday. D:

just beat him down without an assassination, that's what i do in the beginning to the grunts don't go nuts I'm not talking about the elite at the very beginning of the level. It's later in the level when you first see the pylon. But next time I'll try just a beat down and see if the grunts wake up.

Yikes, the grunts wake up after you assassinate the Elite on the bridge now on Nightfall. You gotta kill them fast enough and get the forklift down quickly in order to complete it.

Yesterday I went to the gym for the first time this school year. Ran around the track for 10 minutes, jump-roped, and then biked like crazy for 13 minutes. Was sweating so much. It actually felt good, though. Calves hurt today, though. I have yet to stop avoiding actual lifting. I just don't feel comfortable lifting. I'd much rather do pushups and situps in my room, but I don't know if I'll get toned at all/build a bit of muscle just from pushups and some ab exercises.

Oh, I guess you reminded me of something else, K4ylan. This whole thing with Google combining emails or whatever ticks me off. I first had a gmail account. Then, I had to create another account for YouTube with a different email address because my gmail wouldn't work for it. So now I have two gmail addresses. Now, my schools email is combining with Google, so suddenly, YouTube is asking me to use my school email to log in, but apparently my school email can't be used for YouTube. And every time I log into my school email, it logs me out of YouTube (and vice versa). And every time this happens, it goes through the whole schpeal about asking me for my university email for YouTube; at this point, I have to 'switch accounts' and do a bunch of other stuff. Reeeeaaally tugging on my cheek loops. :thumbdown:

I can't stand toolbars on my internet browser applications. I also can't stand homepages. I always set my homepage to a blank page. Safari Firefox (no toolbars)

Few nights ago I had a dream that I was playing a weird version of lacrosse with my roommate. There was a possibility that the world would end that day, so I told my roommate, "If those huge water droplets start falling on us, I am going straight to the bomb shelter." And he looked at me like I was crazy and said, "No, we should go to the very top of that building. It'll be safer." I then proceeded to leave the group and try to go pee in some bushes, but I couldn't, and it was really painful. I woke up at this point and was like, "Oh thank God I didn't try harder to go pee." Got up and peed in the bathroom. :thumbup:

Out of curiosity, what browser do you use when on TIF anyway? I used to use Safari (love the simplicity and the metallic look). But a ton of plug-ins never worked, so I couldn't do much. Now I'm using Firefox. Don't like the look of Chrome. It's a plus that many of my school's websites recommend Firefox to run them properly. I agree wholeheartedly.

I agree. Clean shaven looks more professional. And a haircut with your hair out of your eyes may be more impressionable. I'm being completely honest when I say that despite the sweet suite, you still kinda look like a punk; not a business man. Not that looking punk is bad in general. It may not be the greatest look for work, though (entirely dependent on where you work, that is).

I've experienced my happiness dependent on a girl/what a girl does. What you say is pretty interesting to me. I forget what kind of person you are (cause that could easily answer my question), but how is someone supposed to ever find a partner (i.e. for marriage) if they rarely ever invest much into the relationship. I mean, I understand you point that the more you invest, the more you lose. But how do you know when to invest the correct amount to where, if things don't go south, things will go fantastic, but on the other hand, if things do go south, you don't lose a heck of a lot? Where's the mean/middle ground? If you're not much of a 'marriage' kind of guy, that explains it, I think. I'm just curious of what you think the ideal amount of investment in a relationship is. Personally, I'd like to know, since I have no idea how much of myself I should be putting in a relationship.
