1.) Is there anyone at all left in this forum that wants to do pixel work for free? I would do them for free if I had the spare time involved in doing them (I am only a mediocre pixeler ;)) 2.) If you answered Yes to the first question, then please answer this too. What motivates you to make a pixel work for free, even though there are other forums that you can go and sell your talent? I enjoy helping others out and giving back to the community. 3.) If you are able to make other types of signature, like abstract, or vector, etc... Why don't you make some for people for free every now and then? I have not had a lot of free time lately, but I do make abstract sigs/av's/banners for free when I get the chance 4.) Is there anyone in here interested in bringing back the Tip.it community Pixel signature collabs? If there was a demand for it I would be willing to bring it back ;) If you guys remember, it was Aldurion's (I think) and we kinda just lost interest and everyone stopped working on it. Close ;) Alduron 5.) This is for everyone, and I hope I get some answers... How do you feel about the general atmosphere of the Gallery and the Art Bazaar? I feel that it has lost its community feel. People used to help each other out instead of just criticizing work (different from c/c). Folks would try new things, new forms of art and work at improving their skills ie, use Photoshop to the limit. Now you see pretty much the same thing posted over and over. As for the Art Bazaar, it used to be that folks actually made sigs for free...perhaps they felt more generous when there were people paying money for them... now no one wants to do anything for free it seems. Hostile? Welcoming? Boring? So and so? please post anything you feel describes your perception of it. I don't think the forum is welcoming, but it is also not hostile... it is just kind of there... 6.) Again this is for everyone. How do you feel about the quality of work being posted at the forum? The quality of work has declined from back in the day. But that is really not a fair statement as the reference is to individuals that have practiced art in rl and on the forum for quite some time. I feel everyone here has the potential to be great. It is all a matter of drive and interest.

I have two cats, brother and sister one is black with green eyes long haired and the other white/cream with blue eyes short haired. Their mom decided to have kittens in my sisters backyard (my sister is a dog breeder :shock: ) unfortunately the day after this cat had kittens she got run over while crossing the street :(. My sister was left tending to the litter which actually belonged to her next door neighbor (to whom mom cat a purse siamese belonged). She contacted the neighbor who wanted no part of it 'nor cared that her cat was run over :shock: . I ended up adopting the runt of the litter (siamese-alley cat mix), well actually he adopted me... I had looked at all the kittens to pick one and really was not sure so I started to pick them all up again and this little guy refused to let go of me, so I figured he must be the one to take home. My sis ended up keeping one of the white kittens and later asked me to take it as she was not doing well with all the dogs around. The two of them are as opposite in personality as day and night. The female cat is loving and sweet would not harm a fly. The male cat is loving but only toward me...anyone else he chases and hisses and growls at... He has attacked a phone repair guy and my sister on numerous occassions and likes to take a chunk out of me now and then ;). ~Alduron

My first vehicle was a 1977 Chevy Cheyenne Regular cab lwb. I bought it for 1,500 it had just gotten the interior re-done and looked very good, it was clean, had a straight body and original paint. It also had a new engine, which unfortunately was a piece of crud and I ended up working on the vehicle every spare minute I had. But it was my first vehicle and a great experience. ~Alduron

That is much better than your previous work. Take a look at our FAQ and resources sticky... you will find a lot of usefull tutorials on how to create nice images. It also contains links to freeware that can help you create your signatures such as GIMP. When you create images remember they do not have to contain outside pictures "renders". There are a lot of great sigs that are just abstract images or images containing nice linework. Also remember practice practice practice... Here are some images I created a while back:

That forum style was removed as only a handful of users were utilizing it. With the updates and maintenance that goes into each skin it was just not fruitful to maintain. I hope everyone can find an existing forum style that they can enjoy just as much. Happy Browsing/Posting ~Alduron

You were given some good information on what you should work on... it is apparent from your reply that you do not wish to learn... therefore I feel it is in everyones best interest if we lock it now. I'm sorry for the loss of your schoolmates :( Suicide is a very controversial and difficult subject in that it is not fair to judge another unless you have walked in their shoes (so to speak). I have had my share of psych courses in College and have dealt with families and crime scenes of individuals that have commited suicide... I never was able to understand why people would chose to take their own lifes and felt that surely there was a place for them to turn, medication to get, etc. This view changed when I had a situation in my life that led me to depression and suicide ideation. I suddenly realized how some of these people must have felt and why a rational person would engage in such an irrational act. The thing with depression is that your system becomes chemically unstable which causes your thoughts to no longer be rational. When people are depressed they begin to feed off the pain, they feel they need to suffer more as sort of a punishment for their failures in life or for life failing them. Some people engage in cutting, forms of self mutilation and self destruction. Basically what happens is the person with depression is drawn to all things that make them more depressed and will block out most efforts of help and things that can make them happy (not in all cases but those that end in suicide tend to follow this path). There are people such as myself who fully recognize that they are depressed and seek help but talking to a counsellor when you feel your world is falling apart does little good... what can they do to fix your problems (that is the mindset) in reality your problems are not that bad and can be managed with time and effort but you are unable to see that because your judgement is clouded. I was on meds for a while and went through a couple of phases where I stopped taking them because I was still too far depressed and felt the need to hurt myself... I eventually overcame that and one step at a time overcame my problems and am a happy camper today... When I look back at my behavior at that point in my life I do not recognize myself... I cannot believe that a few chemicals caused me to behave so insanely and nearly ended my life. I felt that it was not only the best thing for me but for my family and friends that they would be better off without me... it really warps your sense of reality. Suicide is not about being weak it is about being driven to something you normally would not consider but are unable to stop. If any of you reading this feel the desire to commit suicide please contact a responsible adult that can help you and believe me and them that things can and will get better if you give it a chance. Your family and friends would never be better off without you and would only blame themselves for the rest of their lives for failing to have helped someone they loved. ~Alduron
