If you do not like something either do not post or post an explanation on what can be improved and how. I do not see a problem playing with the images. Allowing the use of our logo does not mean this contest is sanctioned by Tip.it. At the first sign that someone takes the logo elswhere or decides to in any way abuse it (impersonating Rune Tips/Tip.it) and our trust, we will take appropriate measures. Happy Creating ~Alduron

Pretty cool. What program did you use? Did you model everything in it yourself? I would suggest working on the materials to give the items a realistic look. ~Alduron

Looks nice but I don't think the dark stroke around your name suits it... it seems to distract from the image/focal area. ~Alduron

Pretty cool. The images are very nicely cropped. I would have placed the border as the top most layer though instead of having it below the symbol. The reason is that it looks akward to me since you have the characters behind the border yet in front of the symbol. The only other thing I might change is the readability of the text... if you intended for it to be read I would work on making it more visible if it is simply there for looks its fine ;) Keep it up. ~Alduron

Like Nadril stated, it is best to get in the habit of creating your own work. Learn to make your own brushes or better yet, learn to use the default brushes to create your backgrounds. You also need to focus on colors...remember to chose colors and shapes that complement each other. Try to have a focus to your image not just creating something that looks like paint exploded over a sheet of paper ;). Remember it is alright to experiment and also remember that you should only post the images that you are proud of or want help with...meaning no need to post every image you create ;) Good Luck and have fun with it. ~Alduron

It's not bad for starters ;) It does look rather flat and the hilt looks quite square. I would suggest working on the shape. Defining your blade and hilt area more. Also, working on the materials will help the looks of it. The sword I use in my sig was created in Photoshop but you can see from it how I tried to texture the blade and give dimension to the shape.
