I had an assassin mission, asking me to find a person in a blue top. Tried all the people in blue tops and it didn't work, so I tried literally everyone wandering around multiple times and it didn't work...do the Wandering Strangers hide somewhere, upstairs in the bar or something?

Brown padlocks are buyable with resources, silver ones cannot be unlocked yet. Took me a while to realize this too.

Actually the past two days i spent some time raising my attack from 60 to 75 and i noticed that using a 2H weapon instead of 2x Wielding i managed to increase my Combat exp gains by 15k per hour at the very least. I assume most efficient slayers will have this in mind when on a Melee task. So 2H would be superior to 2x. If this is true I wasted quite a bit of time =S. My theory was that 2x had smaller, more frequent hits and had a sort of equilibrium-aura effect which minimized overkill. However, I used momentum the whole time, no abilities except for gaining the initial adrenaline.

^I killed a decent number of them, momentum is definitely your friend at TDs. Kills were probably just as fast, if not faster than before though.

So the first GE update after EOC was released and the dragon limbs did not change in price. Rumour was that TDs dropped them, but it seems unlikely that not even one would be sold on the first day. I suppose it could just be very very rare but... Considering the completed crossbow did not appear in GE, maybe it was a slip up or they just added it to the make-x interfaces for completeness, and we will see them released later with Kalphite King, POPs or some other boss.

@Urza, I read the newsposts, which specifically said "Coming weeks". I also read the waiting room sticky where Emilee said they would be overhauling loyalty shop, so not to expect bank boosters there any time soon. I am not sure why I am in the wrong for thinking that the newsposts should be more credible than a random line from a mod not even involved in making the bank boosters? No newspost has mentioned the overhaul AFAIK. Please don't say that technically eleventyhundred weeks is still 'coming weeks,' if its not coming for over three months, you should say 'coming months,' that's just sensible.

And STILL no bank boosters?? "Coming weeks" has now been redefined to mean never. Although maybe they will release it and just keep it hushed...perhaps I am too cynical. Been waiting for them for ages though :(

This is exactly what I was getting at earlier. Back on topic though, I haven't had a chance to check the beta for a while but is there a method in game yet to get off-hand Dragon darts or is there an option to choose between main and off hand when you add feathers to the dart tips? When the beta started darts had two options, Wield and Wield-offhand. Although I have not tried in a while.

Did they improve the chances of T11 drops for soloers? Or do you still need to be in a team to get these binds?

There has always been unsavory players, but there is always such people in (most) MMORPGs. If you're looking to make new friends, try joining a decent, mature (small-mid sized) clan. I made most of my friends that way.

This so much. Also would be awesome if we could set a sequence of abilities to one hotkey, so we can create our own combos.

Looks like godswords might be worth using after all. They got their old specials as passive effects.

In the beta, just about any method of ranging is good xp. I found out that dual crossbows are very good for xp, but I've tested that a while ago so things might've changed since then. I suppose you could range + cannon if you wanted fast xp. I specifically means chinning, ranging at ease. Since protection prayers are no longer 100%, and soul split has heal limit, I'm not sure if chinning is a viable training method anymore... Certainly not for lower level players, anyway.

I'm going to try get a decent supply of DG tokens so I can buy up some offhand weps. I will probably have enough after the prayers+CSB refund, but I want to have spares just in case they sneak out something new with the dungeoneering update this month :)

Wow, can anyone confirm this? I simply can't use that much data per hour on runescape. I only noticed huge data burns during beta weekend events when there were hundreds of people spamming abilities. It will still use more, but shouldn't be too bad if you keep to yourself.

Obtained one of every boss drop and rare table drop. Bought everything in the loyalty shop. Received every item from Treasure Trails (similarly fully complete costume room).

It's clear that they're rushing this out before it is ready, and that is what worries me. Once everyone has moved onto EoC, they will have to go crazy with updates and patches to fix all the little bugs that 100k+ players will be finding. And while they're meddling with so many little things, something big is going to fall through the cracks and we will end up with some huge error. IIRC one of bugs that happened early on was certain abilities damaging other players outside of wildy. I'm probably being paranoid, but I won't be carrying anything valuable in my invent for a while.

Not sure if this is new, but never saw it before. Logging in today I got an unfiltered message "There are new items in the store." and a big glow around the SOF/Solomon tab to draw my attention. I wasn't happy about the hours til spins reminder, but at least it was filterable...

After making the ornate bowl, Juna had the nerve to tell me to come back after gaining 100k xp or 1 quest point. Even though the last time I did this minigame was...100m xp ago?
