  1. I will pm you a temporary solution until we can find a more permanent way to resolve this.
  2. Thanks however we need a copy of your ProgramData folder you have sent Program Files. This folder may be hidden on your computer so you may need to enable "show hidden files" in order to view it. Update: we are still trying to work out what is causing this. However we haven't had much luck. I believe that SwiftKit is saving the questcenter.ini file outside of any profile, Yet both are accessing it from a global folder.
  3. We want to try and get to the bottom of this as it is very strange and we haven't seen this happen before. Would it be possibly to get a zip of your c:\program data\Swiftkit folder that way we can check it against the code and see if we can create a fix for you.
  4. The only way it could have duplicated over would be if you imported your completed quests via the get info button and had your username in the search box. If you go to c:\program data\swiftkit\profiles you should be able to see what we mean in that each profile is separate from one another and in theory shouldn't be able to interact with one another.

  7. It is most likely that your current version of Java was downloaded specifically for your browser. For Swiftkit to access your Java installation you need to have the "All Browsers" version installed it can be found here http://www.java.com/en/download/help/windows_offline_download.xml

    did you run the installer as an admin? a key file is missing from the install.

  12. are you able to get a screenshot of it happening? also if you go to C:\ProgramData\SwiftKit\Profiles\{YourPorfileName}\Data there will be a text file called DebugEx can you paste the contents of that here. If its very large you may need to use something like pastebin.
  13. Sounds to me like anti virus may be removing it. Are you able to view some sort of an event log in your anti virus software
  14. Where did you get the downlaod.cnet link from?, I believe that version is quite a bit out of date. I would try this backup link http://[Censored - Don't use a URL shortner]/QBDWIA
  15. Try going to your SwiftKit folder and deleting swiftirc.ocx this will force SwiftKit to update the IRC client and in doing so should restore it to working condition.
  16. have you tired right click the page and going refresh? kinda simple I know but the fact that you can get to the Runescape page rules out firewalls and points to a caching issue
  17. have you tired installing it to a different folder?
  18. if you go to the help menu inside swiftkit there is a diagnostic tool if you run that it will give you an output if you post that here we may be able to find a cause.

    did you install SwiftKit as an admin? I believe that is caused by a failed attempt to write to the registry.
  20. How to clear your cache: http://oit.colorado.edu/node/927 To clear the Runescape cache go to c:\users\yourUsername\ and delete all the jagexcache folders
  21. did you run the installer as an admin? have you also tired running SwiftKit as an admin?
  22. have you tired clearing both your internet cache and your Runescape cache?
  23. Also are you able to play RuneScape with Internet Explorer?
