I've been contemplating doing the Fight Kiln, now that Tokhaar-Kal has better armour than skillcapes. Any tips? Even though I strongly doubt it, would it be doable 100% melee'd with Drygores? Thanks in advance.

Or that skill capes are now useless. Except they're still the best all-around capes. Also, at least Tokhaar-Kal is worth using over a skillcape now.

I kinda like the idea of giving member's skill a gold background, but I do agree that it looks terrible as it is right now.

I don't know about you, but when I repeatedly kill a GWD boss or when I repeatedly do Clue scrolls, I do essentially the same thing over and over again, expecting different results each time. And you know what? I get different results every time! Comparing this game to Albert Einstein's definition of insanity is completely bogus, lol.

Lol I wouldn't bother with trolls, especially poor ones. I remember they mentioned HTML5 at the start of September 2012. At the time I was under the impression this upgrade would actually be happening at the end of September.

Can't you, like, check the armour bonuses on your cape?

The unbelievably high armour on a skillcape makes it worth using over Fire cape imo. Of course, if you're going to do something where armour matters very little, might as well sacrifice some armour for the extra crit bonus.

I don't really mind having a lot of cached data; after all, I'm not limited to a 20GB hard drive. Also, another reason I don't mind it is that it only downloads the data as you need it. Would be really annoying to have to download ~8GB of data in one go, even though I would never visit most of the areas anymore.

There must have been a difference somewhere, I've been getting really odd trees. Also I appear to be stuck at 50% loading, but that may just be my connection. I've been also having those long loading times and graphical oddities that usually indicate the game is currently downloading data (data that is usually stored in cache.)

Not being able to reach max combat should you choose to train only Magic or Ranged is a joke. Though they probably should require us to also have 99 Summoning and Prayer to have max combat.

Yeah you'll probably want to go to sgwd instead. Better drops (I think they're also more common than boots) and a Lv. 75 staff doesn't splash all the time. Though if you have connection issues, then GWD may be out of question (dying from getting DC'd and losing gear, etc.) Like I said, I haven't tried with void mage, but I found that Tier 80 weapon didn't really splash all that much (although you may end up splashing 2-3 times in a row for some reason.) But it was well enough for Soul split to make up for the damage I was taking (wearing Gano, though Ahrim may work too.)
