Yeah haha, they should just have went and fixed the combat calculation instead of wasting a Dragonstone poll on "Should the final number be 138 or 200." The difference is merely cosmetic, they should have added an Opal poll option just for that kind of pointless poll.

yo, I'd be careful using the SGS pets to pick up drops. This is probably a rare occurrence, but my Skypouncer picked up a Rune longsword from a Glacor, then ran towards me but froze there. I didn't get the Rune longsword, then the next kill I only got whatever drop had just been dropped (83 noted pure essence) and the longsword just kinda vanished. Imagine if that had been boots.

Automaton generators are easy as pie and are decent profit, though they aren't the best exp. Not exactly a boss, but you said you wanted something similar to Glacors, so I thought you might want to take a look at them. Otherwise there's Rorarii at the Monastery of Ascension.

If you read the poll, you'd know that no matter what happens, the combat calculation will change. The only difference is that the final number would be 138 or 200. I don't see the harm in having 138 as the final number for nostalgia purposes since the calculation will not be the same. They're not "going in circles." They're reworking the combat calculation (since both the previous lv 138 and the current lv 200 are equally as flawed) and are asking the players if they'd want the max level to be 138 or 200. My only problem with it is that they're making it the Dragonstone poll. That the maximum combat level of a reworked combat calculation was 138 or 200 is really insignificant, they could have used the Dragonstone poll spot for something more important and made that the Ruby poll or something.

Ascended is Ascension members, right?

I wonder how they're going to handle the stat reset, though. The people who are going to have some stats reset will most likely have done a couple of stuff that required higher than Lv. 1 Def/HP/Prayer/whatever. People would be able to go and complete as many quests or other content that they possibly could, then get skills reset back to 1 and have an advantage over other players that weren't around for the skill reset. Not to mention it could pose a problem with people hijacking others' accounts and resetting their stats without their consent (and then I would expect Jagex to refuse putting said stat back to where it was originally.) I like the idea of the BoB, since that would make Divination a bit more AFK. But the booster just has so much better effects, I think it wouldn't really be worth it to take slightly better AKF-ness over better exp/hour, considering Divination is already very AFK.

Why? I hope you realize that no matter which option wins, the combat calculation will change. So even if Lv. 200 wins, it most likely won't be (highest attack stat) + (defence) + 2 anymore

Combat level calculation wasn't the reason why pures died. It was because of the life bonus from armour, which pures couldn't wear, which gave people a massive advantage against pures.
