Currently tossing up whether to get a Subway or go grab a curry or F&Cs.

  3. Sure, I remember that. Currently in the process of acquiring 1337k cabbages via G.E. It'll take around a year, but as I don't plan to log in much past the introduction of the new combat update, that's fine. Currently sitting around 100k Cabbage: It's a pity the OoB didn't catch on, though. I'm unsure if my Cabbage backed Paper will catch on, though?
  4. As someone who cut his gaming teeth on CS 1.6, SC:BW, Diablo, WC2, AoE, Freespace 2 and the like, I've never gotten into console gaming. I enjoyed MarioKart, GoldenEye, Mortal Kombat, Tekken 3 and the like: but those are all 'classics' ~ don't get me wrong, I've played and enjoyed the GTA series & Timesplitters, but the major issues for me are a) the interface (I find shooters a chore, and interface heavy/RTS games a joke), b) the lack of custom content, which for me is a huge part of PC gaming (fx, I'm still playing FS2 & NWN mods at the moment) and c) the community (although this is probably selection bias, as I tend not to play mainstream titles or play ones which are now almost purely fan supported).
  5. Water Talismans at GOP aren't bad, especially with how easy it is to get 50 Runecrafting with Runespan. Admittedly the XP isn't the best.
  6. Phwa, nice gains. I've been struggling to log onto RS recently myself. On the subjects of economics, you might enjoy this site - it does podcasts with various well known economists, although with a slight libertarian bias: definitely good when you're fishing or somesuch. :^_^:
  7. Yes, it was the final straw for me (after coming back post bot nuke). Although, the combat update would've turned me off the game regardless I think.
  8. The 25k limit is the real kick in the ribs, to be honest. On a different note, at what Ranged level is it advisable to switch to Lesser Demons? Currently using Mithril Arrows/Maple Short & training on Moss Giants.
  9. Buying a pack. Realising you forgot your lighter. :wall:
  10. Damn, you're making ridiculous progress ~ thought you'd still be 93 or so. Now I feel inadequate with my 3 80s. I'd offer to race you to 99 RC, but that wouldn't be much of a competition.
  11. Congratulations on your latest WC level. Hurry up and get 99 ~ chop chop! <3:
  12. Best of luck ~ it's always been my favourite skill; never got 99, alas. I'll drop you a line of encouragement ingame, too ~ Dungeoneering gets dull after a while.
  13. Well, that all depends on your income & stats ~ I can see that you're currently maxed combat, so my advice would be: Armour: Rune Full Helm Rune Platebody Rune Plateskirt Rune Berserker Shield - make sure it's charged via FoG for the strength bonus Rune Gauntlets (" ") Fancy Boots Explorer Ring 4 Power Amulet Teamcape [x] - lower levels will be reluctant to fight otherwise Weapons: Rune Scimitar Corrupt Dragon Scimitar - better for comboing those 300+ hits, and no need to switch shields. Gravite 2h is certainly an option if you're fighting armour on, but people in Single tend to fight armour off with monk robes & risk in inventory. Make the armour, amulet trimmed etc as you desire in terms of risk. Inventory should be ~5 Anchovy Pizza, a Strength Potion 4, (possibly monk robes), swordfish for whatever is remaining. Learn to combo eat, use your counter to approximate hits & switch very well and the like, as FtP is all about timining.
  14. Definitely enjoying being purely F2P on my new (well, old) account. People are on average nicer and more willing to chat, and the atmosphere is much more relaxed. On the other hand, I'm a little nervous about the impact of this combat beta on PKing, which what I plan to predominately do. Oh well; I may just Dungeoneer & Afkspan instead. <3:
  15. Milk -> Butter is rather afk ~ used to be 350k an hour or so, not sure now.
  16. Hey there, I'm in the process of getting 85+ Dungeoneering, and was wondering what was worth my while in terms of training. I'm planning to stay 1 Defence and am aiming for around 80 - 90 Range & similar Strength. I plan to get the Gravite 2H for PKing & the Tome of Frost for looks/tanking binds in Minis regardless of other items. 1) Range Training in F2P is horribly slow, even with Mithril/Adamant arrows. How much extra Xp/Hour can I expect using a Gravite Shortbow rather than a Maple one? 2) As above, except with regards to the Rapier & Strength training. 3) I'm assuming that the Gravite Staff/Blastbox/Blast Necklace combination isn't very useful above ~ 45 Combat or so. Could someone with FtP Pure experience offer their opinions/contra evidence on this? 4) How much do I save with a Scroll of Efficiency were I do Adamant Plates from 88 - 99 Smithing? 5) Anything to recommend the Gravite Longsword outside of looks? Thanks in advance. :^_^:
  17. ADVERTISER: ? LANDING URL: http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/simgad/7738676154843363722 TYPE: Top Banner SITE: RsOrder.com MY LOCATION: New Zealand REASON: Selling RSGP.
  18. Vewy impressive ~ you've been on the cusp for quite some time: that self restraint. =D> I'll do my best to turn up, even if it's a little early for me.
  19. Spend them geepees wisely. Congratulations on 85 Magic, as well.
  20. *drools* Congratulations on ridiculous Smithing XP. Go for all 90+ ? <3:
  21. I very much dislike the new armour and try to wear (relatively) unmodified gear where possible (GoP Robes, Dungeoneering items etc). However, reversion is not going to happen. :???:
  22. Oh my. Is 99 Fishy on the cards any time soon? I can't stand the skill myself.
  23. Almost there. <3: Lovely to see some active high achieving free players ~ will definitely be following everyone closely as I work on my own purely FtP account.
