Tbh there are just as many arrogant skillers, as there are true pkers. Most the people that whine and give pkers the bad name don't have a clue how to pk. I don't like it when pkers are basically abused just because of the immaturity of others. Pking was the heart of the skilling economy before it was removed, then now its coming back (Possibly but we cant take jagex's word for it) which will probably boost the economy all the pk-haters come out of the woodwork. Its the best for both worlds, Pkers get there worlds, no reason for a skiller to ever go there and the herblore/fishing/cooking ect market will probably thrive again. Win Win.

[/hide] You don't obviously have anything to do with paypal, i myself just off ebay have had 6 charge backs from credit cards, it does affect you as that money is removed from your account and you do not get it back (i have had over 681 payments btw). Not only that but if your account receives a large amount of fraud it will be closed and can lose any money associated with it without warning. (just google it for proof) Pretty much every company will suffer from credit fraud in one way or another, and i suggest you don't post on here if you don't know what you are talking about you will only get flamed.

Could you quit that "credit fraud argument" already? - It's a pretty bad reason as there are lots of other ways to beat it (for example use a third party thing like paypal instead: This might cost a bit more but I for one would gladly pay those 0.30 euros extra to get some wilderness feeling again!). Because it was the reason! Using paypal and any other method does not prevent charge backs, infact paypal is one of the worse methods, as its so easy to recall payments. All of Jagex's payment methods use third party services already. Please get your facts correct before flaming me.

I don't understand why they didn't just move any players on there to lumbridge. Such a waste of space now tbh.

It wasn't just the fact that the bots were ruining the community, it was because of all the chargebacks jagex was getting from accounts from bots that used false information, or credit card fraud. And because of this was loosing alot of money. They said if they didn't do it when they did a few years down the line they would have had to close Runescape. Blizzard on the other hand, is a much larger well established company that probably could quite easily afford the loss, but as its not f2p (by that i mean you have to buy the game not just membership) the amount of bots/chargebacks is a lot lower than that of jagex.

I dont know how we are supposed to answer this, considering we don't know what levels, zones or safeareas there will be. but if there where no restrictions, i would say varrock or ardy as there is 2 banks on either side. or varrock vs fally on the lands around barb village and edge.

i think its from a recent quest cant remember the name, but its where you have to get the key from the Karamthulhu to open the chest inside the ship. edit. Pretty sure its the underwater shipwreck in the rocking out quest. But then again maybe its not, as theres water below it...

Just to clear up that drops are not based on the items people are wearing, but by "levels and the impressiveness of the kill". Therefore, I don't foresee this happening as a lvl 90 killing a non-retaliating lvl 44 with 1 def, most likely killing them in about 2 hits, isn't exactly a very impressive kill. I have to correct you, but it does not say that it wont, it just says factors like. Bounty hunter already rewards you depending on how much you wear, im sure it will have an effect, maybe not on the person you killed but quite possible on how much you are risking.

Not bad, i wrote a similar script to add an irc java applet over the chat box and a few other things like hiscores ect, still use it sometimes. And as for editing prefs why not just go.. Tools > Greasemonkey > Manage User Scripts. Select the script from list and click edit, then find a text editor such as notepad[Caution: Executable File].

hmm ok... I cant see that gravestones would appear, as it would not be high danger, someone could just bless it.

Pretty simple, there would probably be a time limit where you wont get a drop if you kill that person again within the limit. As rewards will probably be based on how much the person you kill/you are wearing and how easy you killed them, so if you just took 5 sec to kill them you probably wont get anything, where as if its a hard, even fight you will probably get a better drop. And remember you will lose items, (probably no gravestone). So multi logging accounts would be pointless, as you probably wouldnt get a drop, and if you do want a drop you would have to sacrifice items.

Sounds fun, but i doubt it would happen. That last 1% i would presume would be safe areas around banks, thats probably where most will hag out waiting for ppl to exit. Over time i'm sure spots will appear for different styles, like the old edge and varrock. I'm really happy so far, although dubious about these new rewards (will they really be rewarding...) mostly for the fact we will get single way pking back! If i can make a decent living from these rewards i will be doing nothing but this, like the old days :D . :thumbsup:

im not buying anything yet, it could still be 5 months away. The rewards will probably be much lower than those of the old pking days, chance of losing your items for a messly reward wont get me pking full time again. Not to mention some of the rewards sound like they might not be tradable, such as xp boosters and short-term items.

wildy will probably be full of revs, not to mention a load of wildy is now taken up by Bh and ClanW. It wont be that hard to find people as the world will be dedicated to it, 2000 people in a world you'll find them.

I can't wait til it happen !!! so no it won't be cool when it is on the 1 year anniversary of removal of wilderness !!! :shame: but the main problem 4 me is that how many world is going to be P v P ? and Which part of the world will this P v P happen in ??? :wall: 99% of the world, last 1% will probably safe areas around banks and such.

Well it was never going to stop RWT full stop. But it got rid of most of the gold farmers and along with it vast majority of RWT. Sure its still possible i myself know 2 ways for transferring cash/items. But its too much hastle for the ave gold farmer. The main point is that if people stopped wasting their cash on it, (like its hard to get a few mill nowadays) the problem would be solved. :lol:

They look pretty good, shame you cant change text fonts and colors tho. My siggy is better (can change pretty much everything) making it public soon :lol:

hmm, due to the fact that it will house a new minigame i cant see it being f2p as it gives XP rewards, its highly unlikely anyway.
