  1. How resource intensive does the development of this look? Appears that maybe this explains the lightness of the content schedule.
  2. A whole slew of quest bugs to find, but can't even get past the first one. :p
  3. I like to think of it as a massive rock in the ocean with a whole host of caverns. Big, empty spaces between towns and cities. Perhaps even a hive of Dagganoth where we find them not so hostile. It gives them an option of having a new continent, but without having to load it up full of stuff immediately. Perhaps even Freminnik raids for a slightly relaxed level player. Now that they've worked out raid mechanics for their game. :p
  4. I'd also approve of perhaps the release of Archeron. You could tie in more than a few things with penguins and Frems and perhaps something akin to the size of Greenland or even a full blown arctic type continent.
  5. And that also works well with Eastern Lands since you could release the continent one or two islands at a time.
  6. I think it's a logical and appealing concept to make the new continent be available from your port. We really could rebuild the Eastern Lands after the downfall of Quinn.
  7. I don't think it must be entirely instanced. Perhaps hot spots and so forth that could make the community build easier or give you a head start. And the same could be that it wouldn't be locked behind a level, but having that level give you a bit of a lead.
  8. Or... While they develop the actual continent they can release new PoP missions that slowly build the infrastructure of the place and when you finally arrive most of the things are individual in terms of appearance or if you can use them.
  9. Unlikely given that people seem to want new planets. A new continent would've been a great excuse to be included in raids, but they went with a Tuska back portal I guess. :(
  10. That joke is pretty strong.
  11. It was also considered a special quest with special circumstances given the nature of the content of the quest.
  12. But they've always maintained that levels only are what determine a Grandmaster quest. This was first discussed after the release of the embarrassingly bad Nomad's Requiem quest.
  13. Do you ever not complain about updates? That clearly wasn't a complaint. I was pointing out an inconsistency in categorization. Then again, it's all fairly meaningless anyway.
  14. Um, those levels seem firmly in the Grandmaster range.
  15. And as usual, they will create a boss their own system can't handle.
  16. nah.I did say that I've seen. Perhaps not as old as you have.
  17. Zaros described it as his last memory of her at the time. So this would've been Second Age? That was before she had her lovely scarf though. I also never really considered how... bulky Zaros looks when compared to his other half.
  18. Jeez, this might be the oldest topic I've ever seen resurrected on these forums.
  19. I quite would have liked Seren a more pastel green. Perhaps an aquamarine also. That dark, vibrant blue does nothing for me.
  20. You also might have to ask yourself how deep does the switch actually go. It is one thing to change bone structure and so forth, her being married means logically that genitalia was changed, but that isn't a sure thing. What about reproductive abilities? She never conceived and that is the one thing transgender people truly cannot do. Or have we all way over analyzed a small little bit showing their tacit support of transgenders?
  21. That would appear to fall into the Christian method of "I can't refute your reason therefore God must be beyond reason." :p
  22. So when they decided to make all the Elder gods into females does mean some of them had GIDS as well?
  23. I'd have taken that statement so much more seriously if it had proper capitalization and punctuation. But yeah, that Dwarf quest was so hamfisted in its message I resented it not for its message, but for the method of delivery. And is no one else going broach the subject of Akthanakos and his gender identity issues and the substantial rise in tension between him and Enahkra is the idea that she is the last "female" Mahjarrat? And I also stand by my point of it being a political statement because it serves no purpose outside of its own existence. No one else makes mention of it, it had no added value to any plot or another character, it is simply there. I don't say I disagree with it and I understand them as a company and they support this group of people. That's great, but why do we have to get all pissy and emotional when we honestly identify a thought or action for what it is?
  24. I'd say given how prevalent in the news and the nature of the game, yes. And it wasn't a person, it was an elf. She changed her gender, not her race. :p If you want to move the topic into the pedantic, given that she used what was her shapeshifting powers to change her gender could not other beings do so if they had sufficient power? Who else has shapeshifting powers? The Mahjarrat. So could one use their powers to change gender and thus possibly conceive without need of Enahkra? Or is it not meant to be taken in such a way in which case it would appear to be put in for the sake of simply being there. Oh look, a butterfly... *runs off*
  25. My point was one of language, since you would identify what the thing was at the time the action was committed. Also, was this necessary? I remember when this game would rather have a Monty Python reference than a political statement.
